Naxzi smiled at Loushin and she trembled, glaring at him with contempt, clenching her fists. Even if she wants to do everything to kill him, she still can't be reckless and break her father's plans. She frowned and painted a dark gaze in her eyes.
She smirked and asked, "And so? You didn't come here that time and what proof do you have?"
Naxzi didn't wipe off the smile on his face and breathed out, nonchalantly and bluntly said, "I wouldn't know who the culprit was if I had no proof, Your Imperial Concubine." He innocently looked at her with a tilt of his head.
Loushin never liked it whenever he referred to her as 'Your Imperial Concubine'. How dare he play like he had more powers than her?!
".. I-I don't care. What business do you have with me that you even broke the gate of my residence?"
Loushin opened her hand and hid it behind her back. Since she had opened her power, Naxzi will be in a disadvantageous position. She brightly smiled after thinking so and breathed in relief.
Naxzi suddenly turned serious and dangerously looked at her. His gaze was cold and frightening. "I don't care if you plan to kill me since it was your plan all along when you seduced the emperor, my father—"
"I didn't do that! He was the one that fell in love with me—"
"I am not done with my words." He stopped for a moment and Loushin and halted, and couldn't say anything after being reprimanded like that. He then carried on when he was saying, "My wife is not involved in this matter, Your Highness."
Loushin's interest increased and sat on the chair that Jana prepared. "Oh~ Your wife. Haha. And so what?" She wasn't even careful and was bold in her purpose and Naxzi felt that threatening her wasn't enough. Loushin wants to get rid of Sencha.
"I won't stay still if you hurt her, and I am very sure that if my wife was harmed, no, you have harmed her already. If General Fornolyo got a hold of this information, do you think he'll let you slide?"
Loushin gulped and suddenly became anxious. That's right. She totally forgot that Sencha is Fornolyo's father! Fornolyo is a very frightening and ruthless man. If one ever gets on his bad side, that person will never get to live in peace, it's in the opposite direction.
Loushin trembled and the fear that she had earlier won't compare to how she was so worried about her future. She knew that her father and General Fornolyo didn't get along, thereby if she ever made a mistake, her family would weigh a heavy sacrifice and she might get banned from stepping outside for at least six months! That can't be!
Even if the emperor loves her more than anyone, but if the Court forces the emperor to justify how her answer was unethical, she would definitely be in a tighter corner.
She almost bit her fingers due to anxiousness, if it weren't Jana for silently reminding her that she was in front of the Crown Prince.
Naxzi leaned back on his seat and carefully said. "I know I have no power even in court or in the palace, however, if my wife complains to her father…. I am not the only one who will bear the price. Or maybe, I won't have to pay, and you're alone."
Loushin stood up and said in an urgent voice, "T-tell me what I should do!"
Naxzi smiled cunningly, "Really?"
"I-I… What is it? Hurry up and tell me!" She was already impatient.
Naxzi swept his gaze to Jana, and the guards who harmed Sencha. "I want you to give me that maid beside you and the guards who hurt my wife and I'll do the same as you did to my wife. Therefore, I'll forget this case including my guards' death."
"What?! You paralyzed crown prince?!!"
Sanc stepped in front of Naxzi, prepared to kill Loushin but Naxzi stopped him and pulled him beside him.
"I also will turn a blind eye for the insult you said to me, the crown prince, if you give me those people I want. If ever my wife doesn't wake up after this day, I'd have to behead them."
"You're being unreasonable!!" Loushin lost it and was furious. How dare he plan on what he should do to her own people?
Naxzi smirked slyly, "I can be much more unreasonable if you want. How about it, deal, or no deal? If you don't want to, you will either be banned, killed, or jailed. Which one do you prefer?"
Loushin grinded her teeth and lost all of her composure. She was so mad that she wanted to rip Naxzi's face and slice his body into small pieces until no one would be able to tell that he was the crown prince.
"… I…."
"Yes?" Naxzi'z persuasive voice was a nightmare to Loushin.
"I will do it! Take whoever you want!!"
Jana then kneeled and cried in front of her, but Loushin only slapped her and pushed her to Naxzi's side.
"I don't need you, useless maid!" she pointed at her and Jana was dumbfounded. After being used, Loushin will discard her that easily.
Loushin lifted her chin when she thought that she was done.
But Naxzi stopped him and said, "Also…. You should apologize to my wife once she regains consciousness."
"I will never do that!!" Loushin yelled. How dare he trap her into this kind of trap?
Naxzi breathed out and signed Sanc to push him outside.
"It's your choice. Remember, once my wife wakes up, I'll be sure to visit my father-in-law and inform him about everything that his daughter had to go through." He warned then Sanc turned the wheelchair around.
Sanc bowed at Loushin and Loushin shouted badly when they left.
Naxzi smirked. Whoever dares to play with him shall have the taste of what it feels to be a pushover.
