53 Traps

*Surprisingly, I'm still aliving and surviving.

Xuanmei walked out of the store, combining the storage gem with a chain and hanging it around her neck for convenience.

"We can use the rest of the time checking and scoping the building. Where's the principal's office?"

"Most likely on the second floor of the building with the hall and reception."

"Bluey, can you leave everything up to the staff, come here and fly into the principal's office to check for a way monitor the principal's ins and outs, check for any traps and stuff like that."

"I'm going to travel that far just to scope out the room? No thank you."

"No? Well, too bad, because you are still going to do it for me anyway."

"Ugh." Bluey replied with a groan (A: Mood.)

"Ming, split up, head to the east and the west and prance around the area, and since it's a huge campus, give me a detailed map on the whole area later."

"Why don't you do it yourself?"

"Lazy cat, it's because I'm tired."

"You literally did nothing but arrive at the school."

"Every day is tiring when you're running away from responsibilities." (A: So every day is leg day?)

"Fair enough."

Having sent the cat and the bird to check the perimeters, she went to the heavenly fire sector to check it out.

Before having Xuanmei leave, the woman who she now knew as the leader of the heavenly fire sector, had given her a jade seal. It was to be approved by the guards so that only the real students that have the right to enter can be let in.

Flashing the seal to the guards standing outside the door, they nodded and opened the door.

The heavenly fire sector was like a huge block of, well, huge, dorm rooms in and of itself, but sadly for teaching and not sleeping.

It's rooms are incredibly big, but it's expected as the funding is going extremely well and, apparently, the parents of these people in the heavenly fire sector are very generous with their money.

Exploring the entire place, she received information from Bluey while just entering her classroom, which was right down the hall.

"The principal's office is full of traps. No sign of the Meriandem though, as it usually gives out a pulse once someone is near, although, that would clearly explain the traps designed to catch someone off guard if they were not aware of both the pulse and the traps."

"Don't worry though, because the pulse is very light. It just catches most people by surprise. Most do not know as it is quite frankly, old knowledge."

"Knowledge that is way too old to be known by any of the students here without special help or information from outside, to be honest."

*Gods! I accidentally posted this chapter the night before. I reverted it though, but AGHHH! It's fine, this chapter is meant for Wednesday though. If anything goes wrong, I have another copy as a save. Shhh.
