27 The Snow fox

Soon, night fell. Sneakily, she stole from the Xue Family, even the treasures the family's ancestors had given them as keepsakes and gifts. Dowry, artifacts, jades and jewels, diamonds and rubies. All were swept clean by the thief.

At three in the morning, Xuanmei was sent off by a guard, except, mysteriously, her cat had 'gone missing'. The guard ignored her, heading back to the Xue mansion.

Ming, on the other hand, waited for the guard to arrive. after keeping to a corner, he conjured a blue flame. Thanks to the blue pheonix being both Xuanmei's spiritual beast and guardian, he, as Xuanmei's Spiritual beast, can use his flames. The blue flames of Nirvana. It forever burns until it is stopped by or eaten by other pheonixes.

Casting the fire on a stick, Ming prodded the fire under the house.

"Oops."

Ming immediately returned to the Pagoda, and coming out of it, only to be returned beside Xuanmei, who sat down as she looked at the blue flames sprouting out of the mansion from a cliff, the blue killers swaying alluringly in the wind.

Blue contrasted with the red of the rising sun, and the blue burnt unendingly, almost covering that part of the sky.

Unexpectedly feeling quite upset, Xuanmei stood up, no longer Xue Xuanmei, but now, it was just Xuanmei.

"Extinguish it. We don't want to attract attention. Though... The bodies can keep burning internally. Let them be healed only to be burnt again in a never-ending cycle. Their souls would have been destroyed already anyway."

Walking away from the sinister yet amazing scenery, her hair flowing and cascading down like a waterfall, she smiled a devilishly seductive smile.

"Everything in this continent would turn with I appearing on the horizon, so what's the problem in exterminating some pests anyway?"

"One day, this young miss will undoubtedly rise to the top."

From far away, another girl smiled.

Shining onyx black hair that faded to red accompanied by bright blue eyes, a curvaceous figure and a rather large bust appeared in the forest near the cliff, Lan Helian suddenly appearing beside the 1.5 metered twelve year old as the blue in her eyes died down.

"So, how is it? The soon to be thirteen year old give you any trouble?"

"It was boring. Liufeng guided our dear friend into your inner world by accessing it through one of the guardians, the guardian being me."

Lan Helian waltzed along the trees, disappearing behind a tree and swinging back into view as a snow fox with golden eyes.

Going up to the girl whose eyes shone blue two minutes ago, she snuggled up to her, cuddling and fondling with her hand with it's nose.

While the 1.5 metered girl pondered, the fox jumped over her, landing on a branch near the one she was sitting on.
