Getting stronger every week

Andrew woke up in the morning of the next day. As the god promised, his previous self was released, fully merging with his present self. While there weren't changes to himself he did have 2 sets of memories, making him about as old as his parents.

As Andrew stirred in bed the nurse that was in his room went to check on him.

"Hello there, how are you feeling?" A kind-hearted nurse said while Andrew woke up.

He first woke up confused, as having lived two lives and having to sort them out was hard, it helped that they did not differ much. As he was remembering, he learned he was in the MCU. At first, he got excited and you could hear his bp increasing on the machine.

However, the memories of yesterday all crashed on him, like a bucket filled with cold water fell on top of him.

"WHERE ARE MY PARENTS!?" He started to yell as he started to call his mother and father.

"Andrew, please calm down, you are going to reopen your wounds." The nurse said, seeing that it was not working she called for more nurses to hold him down while she sedated him.

Andrew woke up in the afternoon of the same day and this time, instead of the kind-heated nurse there were two police officers in his room.

"Andrew Thompkins right? I'm sorry for your loss, I'm detective Connors and this is my partner, detective Monroe. We would like to ask you some questions if that's okay?"

Andrew lifted up his head, revealing his pair of brown, emotionless eyes, tears sliding down his cheeks. He nodded.

Detective Monroe gave him a tissue and detective Connors continued.

" In the acident last night, did you see anything that might be of help? Anything is fine."

"...No... we were just singing and..."

"That's alright, one final question" Connors said while his partner continued.

"It says on the record that your mother had a phone right? We weren't able to find it, did she perhaps leave it at home or lose it sometime before the accident?" Monroe asked.

Andrew was about to speak, saying that his mother was recording during the accident, but that just hurt all the more.

"No, she had it during the accident." He said, almost whispering.

"I see... well if there is anything that you remember, give us a call." Connors said.

"...Sure."

"Goodbye Andrew." They said finally leaving Andrew alone in his bland hospital room.

He started to think about his parents and how this could have happened to him right when he was about to fully start to live his life in the MCU. He started hearing whispers in the back of his mind, talking of revenge. He was about to deny such thoughts when he heard a ding and a blue semi-transparent screen appeared in front of him.

[WARNING, THIS IS NOT A SYSTEM] The words appeared before a video started on the screen before him.

[Hello Andrew, I'm very sorry for your loss. Now then, let's talk business.] The god showed up in his log cabin still in the middle of a winter storm, with his legs crossed and fingers interlocked in front of him.

[As you know your first wish is... to absorb the power of animals incapable to communicate with people. I think it fits marvel, well, kinda. Anyway, as a byproduct of your power, you will have a natural affinity with animals, like instead of animals being afraid of you, they will like you and approach with you, allowing you to touch them. This part is important as you need to touch them to absorb their power. When you touch an animal you have to wait for three seconds before a screen appears, showing what powers they have that you can absorb. This next part is also important because you can only use your powers once a week, where would be the fun in going on an absorption rampage and become the strongest in one day? Or just absorb a legendary dragon's power? Anyway, for any other function, you yourself will have to discover. You will also get an abilities tab so that you can keep track of all your powers.]

Andrew was first thinking that this was a lame power, but as the god went on with his explanation he saw all the endless possibilities this power had!

[For your second wish I gave you a suit, as I doubt you are smart enough to come up with one yourself. The suit is fully customizable. It can be edited in the customize tab that will appear with your abilities tab, choose abilities or customize and it will take you to that tab. One drawback is that you can't put technology in your suit, like for example, you can't turn your suit into Iron Man's armor.

As for your third wish... well now is not the time for that. Goodbye Andrew, live your life to the fullest and without regrets.] The god said but before the video ended he could swear he heard 'You have been promoted' somewhere in the background.

Now face to face with the screen that can make him a godly being, Andrew started to remember one very important fact that he forgot. His mother liked to take a lot of pictures and video, so as not to lose them she had Andrew make her gallery connected to a cloud server.

'The video, it... could be there! I have to... tell... the police...' Andrew started looking at his hospital room door as if calling back the police, but as he was looking a voice in his mind yelled 'REVENGE!'. He looked back at the blue semi-transparent screen again, especially at the abilities tab.

A mad look flashed on his face as his emotionless eyes flared up with a cold, soul burning fire.
