In an interrogation room, there was a man around 20 to 25 years old in handcuffs. Sitting on a chair facing a metal table with two empty seats. The man was wearing a white sweatshirt stained with blood, his appearance was somewhat peculiar with long black hair worthy of a respectable metalhead and black eyes, not dark brown, real black.

His black eyes looked at nothingness with a sick expectation, without even blinking, he just stared at the empty room as if he was waiting for something.

His concentration was interrupted due to the room door opening, and two people entered the room. The first was a middle-aged black man wearing a brown suit with a New York Police badge on his waist and carrying a tablet. The second was a pretty Asian woman in a leather jacket with the same badge on her waist as the first.

The man takes the lead and sits on one of the empty chairs, while the woman decides to stand in the corner with her arms crossed. The woman had a penetrating look while the man adjusted himself in the chair and gave his most cordial smile.

"I'm Detective Brett Mahoney and the one with the bad face is Detective Yuri Watanabe and we're in charge of your case. What can I call you?"

"Jack. You can call me Jack" the man now called Jack said in a tone without much emotion that did not reflect his current legal situation, this seemed to have caused some emotion in the detective Yuri.

"Cut the bullshit, who are you? What's your name?" Yuri speaks for the first time, this bothered detective Brett who looked at her with a disapproving look, it seems he didn't like her approach.

"Let's start from the beginning, Mr.Jack." He then takes out his tablet and plays a video.

The video was footage from a bank security camera. The video showed the entrance to the bank, there were people in line, employees doing their duties, and guards standing in their positions, a normal day at any bank. Until a man with long black hair walks in wearing a suicide vest and holding the detonator up.

"Would that be you? Mr.Jack?" The detective speaks more by stating than asking

The guards are the first to act by pulling out their pistols and pointing at him but as soon as they see the bombs and the detonator they hesitate, the employees and people in the bank seeing this start to panic. The man then turns to the guards points at people with his free hand and starts demanding that the guards put their weapons on the floor and lie down.

The guards obey and throw their weapons on the floor and lie down, the man then takes one of the pistols and fires two shots at the ceiling of the bank, drawing people's attention. He then starts threatening people to obey him or he would trigger the detonator, people then drop to the ground in great terror.

After taking control of the bank, the man doesn't do anything anymore, he doesn't try to steal the money, or anything like that. He just stands there without moving, without speaking. Only occasionally glancing at the clock on the wall, time passes with some of the guards trying to talk to him but he just tells them to keep quiet.

After a while of the man holding the detonator and doing nothing, a figure captured by the camera was a woman dressed in a white and black costume with a hood climbing the wall silently in a way that was always in the terrorist's blind spot, she then acts.

With a quick movement, she shoots her web into the hand of the terrorist who was holding the gun, then she throws herself at him and kicks him in the face, making him fall to the ground while stealing the detonator from his hand, then she shoots him with her spider webs. that come out of her wrists, pinning him to the ground, all of this happening in less than 2 seconds.

 "That's the best part." Detective Yuri says while giving a weak smile.

The surrendered people who were on the ground saw this and began to celebrate and thank the ghost spider for saving their lives. The ghost spider interrupts them and shouts at the civilians to get out of the bank as quickly as possible, people remembering the bombs begin to evacuate the bank with the help of the guards.

After safely evacuating people the spider woman turns to the man trapped on the floor and looks at the detonator, she seems to take her time looking at the detonator. She then does the unlikely and begins to disassemble the detonator, after dismantling it she throws it on the floor and approaches the now front page headline in all New York newspapers "Phantom Horror".

The man had a broken nose, bleeding, staining his shirt. But strangely calm just staring at the ceiling with a blank stare. The ghost spider then approaches and begins to take off his suicide suit and check the bombs attached to the suit. After a while each bomb arrives, she throws the suit on the floor and looks at the man.

She asks the man on the floor

"What the fuck was that all about? Some sick joke? What was your point?" The man doesn't react, he doesn't even blink, he just stays on the ground, as if he were paralyzed. She then grabs him by the collar and forces him to look at her.

"Come on man, I didn't even hit you that hard. Talk to me, who told you to do that? What was your goal?" the man then blinks and looks at her as if he has now noticed her.

"My goal? It has already been completed... Miss S..." He then gives her a smile as blood runs down his teeth. This catches the ghost spider by surprise and she then drops him and stares at him while the man laughs weakly and returns to staring at the ceiling.

Detective Brett then pauses the video and looks at him, removing the smile he had when he arrived, and begins

"Mr. Jack, you know... Your whole act at the bank left us confused and very worried. If this happened in Gotham I wouldn't even bother, but we're not in Gotham, we're in New York, where crazy people don't come in. in a bank out of nowhere in a fake suicide suit and don't even try to steal the money." Detective Brett pauses in his speech as he tries to find any reaction on Jack's face, but Jack doesn't even blink.

"So, as confused and worried as you left us, we went to check your background and do you know what we discovered? Nothing! No criminal record, no digital or facial records in any database, no birth certificate, no identity or even fake!" Then Detective Yuri goes to the table

"All we know about you is through the new Stark surveillance system, show him, Brett"

Detective Brett takes out the tablet and then shows footage of a street where Jack walks out of a dark alley and just looks around the city. Then Jack starts walking around the city with the cameras following him until he stops while he picks up an old newspaper from the floor and starts reading it.

"Could you explain what you were doing next?" Detective Brett asks but Jack doesn't react

The footage shows Jack panicking as soon as he starts reading the newspapers, Jack starts looking for more newspapers on the floor while hyperventilating, the more Jack reads the newspapers he finds, the more panicked he seems to get. Until he stops and stares at nothing for a long time and starts to calm down, the image zooms in on his face and he stands there for a few minutes without even blinking.

"This is the oldest video we found of you in the whole city, we checked all the images around the alley and not one of them saw you going through them to enter the alley. You just appeared out of thin air."Detective Yuri states as he crosses his arms

"The other footage we have of you gives us a piece of the puzzle."Detective Brett then starts showing videos of Jack begging on the street, digging through the trash to find food. Until Jack goes to a construction material store and buys several things with the money that he begged. Afterwards, he goes to an alley where he makes his improvised suicide suit and enters the bank.

"From this footage, we know that you are not good at passing without being seen by surveillance cameras and that you were not ordered to commit such a crime or am I wrong?" Detective Brett asks as he puts away the tablet

"No, you're not wrong, I did it of my own free will. " Jack says in a dry tone

"THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT? ARE YOU JUST CRAZY?"Detective Yuri screams in frustration

"Forgive my colleague's frustration, Mr.Jack. But I must say I'm frustrated too. In the newspapers they call them 'Phantom Terror' I must agree with the "phantom" part but the "terror" part is up to us, the police decide. I'll tell you what's going to happen next Mr.Jack" Dective Brett takes a pen and paper and takes some time before continuing in a serious tone

"Mr. Jack, You will be accused of terrorism. And you will certainly be sentenced to life in prison if you don't help us. Am I clear?"

"Yes, perfectly. "Jack says

"Please Mr.Jack help us understand this story. So we can help you! Is your real name Jack? Do you suffer from any mental illness?" Detective Brett holds the pen while staring at him

"No to both questions. " Jack says

"Okay, what's your real name?" Brett asks.

"It doesn't matter. Detectives, I'm not going to waste your time. What you should know you already know. So let's get this nonsense over with, I have things to do." Jack said then started looking at nothing in particular

"Things to do? Where do you think you're going? Take some air? Or maybe a date?" Yuri scoffs but Jack doesn't react

"As you prefer Mr. Jack" Brett says

On the same day in the middle of the night in a cell separated from the other inmates, Jack was sitting in the cell waiting... and waiting... looking at nothing with red eyes from not blinking for a long time until...
