6 Thoughts
Thor and Jane had finished their little talk and now were chatting with the group.
"So my fellow aliens, what are your plans now?" James asked as he approached the group.
"Return to Asgard, of course and beat some sense in that brother of mine," Thor solemnly replied. He then introduced James to the group and vice versa.
"I should get going too; have a flight to catch tomorrow," James muttered. But due to being hit by the truck earlier, James's mobile was destroyed and all his cash was destroyed due to the energy blast and has half of his pants were burnt, which looked more like shorts now.
"Hey do you guys have some money, my cash is all burned and my mobile is also wrecked. I will pay you back after I reach the Hotel. Heck I even lost my room key and the return ticket along with my luggage are in the room," James complained.
"We can help you with that Mr. Brown," Phil who was standing no too far away smiled and walked over.
"Thanks Mr. Coulson," James sighed in relief.
"Its the least we can do," Phil smiled.
"You don't live here?" Thor asked.
"Yeah, I was here on a short trip. I live in Manhattan, New York City. Anyways good luck for your fight with Loki. If you are ever in New York," James lightly punched Thor's chest.
Thor reciprocated, "Good bye, my friend."
"Sayonara," James said to Thor and the whole group and started walking towards Phil who had agreed to solve his hotel problem.
James suddenly stopped and walked back towards Thor and the group.
"Jane, I have quite a good sensory skill and I noticed a problem with your body," James said.
"What problem?" Jane tilted her head.
"It is not quite clear, but something harmful is budding inside your body and your life energy is weakening bit by bit. I hope you immediately contact a doctor and perform some tests before its too late," James declared.
Thor became solemn after hearing James's diagnosis. Before he could say anything Professor Erik Selvig declared," First thing today after dropping off Thor, we will visit a doctor."
"I trust you," Thor seriously said and patted Erik's shoulder.
"Hey, what about my opinion," Jane complained.
"You've got no say in it Jane," Darcy a colleague of Jane retorted.
Thor along with Jane, Erik and Darcy thanked James for alerting them about the situation. After bidding them goodbye James left with Phil whereas Thor and group also went on their way.
'Thor is bound to suffer a lot in the upcoming future. If I became strong enough and didn't die in between, I don't mind lending him a hand. I have no idea how the future will change after I have alerted them about Jane's cancer, neither do I care about such change. I know that I will lose a major advantage, if I keep changing the present and affecting the future. But frankly I don't care, I am not going to be a bystander in this world, also I don't think my protagonist halo will allow me to be a carefree NPC. This is not a movie, everything is real,' James sighed and let it sink in.
After reaching the hotel, Phil helped James in completing few formalities, thus granting him entry to his room. Once everything was done, Phil along with his agents left James alone with his thoughts.
James jumped on his bed and after lying in a comfortable position, he opened his information panel. As his fight with Destroyer ended, experience points were distributed to him and he felt his body getting stronger along with the increase in his maximum chakra level. He also felt some restrictions on his Deva Path ability being reduced. And the necessary information regarding it was transferred to his brain.
However he ignored it temporarily and also resisted the urge to open the information panel at that time and decided to view it after reaching the hotel. Now as he had reached the hotel and was lying comfortably in his bed, he couldn't wait anymore and viewed his information panel.
He was so excited that he wanted to say, "Information Panel," loudly but refrained from doing so, fearing that the hotel room may have been bugged by Phil and his agents. The Sensing ability was useless in such cases as it could only sense a person or any attack within a distance of 20 meters but not a technological device.
James discarded all these thoughts and focused more on the blue screen in front of his face.

James made some observations after looking at the Information Panel. He was internally jumping with joy after knowing that all his evolvable skills had reached level three. Although at that time he felt his strength and chakra had increased, but he couldn't put it into numbers. The Information Panel probed to be far more useful in the numerical categorization of his strength.
'Opponents stronger then me provide a lot of experience points, but the risk of death in such fights is even greater. I have to seriously thank Thor for this opportunity, otherwise God knows how long it would have took me to reach level three in all the evolvable abilities. I have a feeling though that if I fight the Destroyer again, I won't able to obtain much experience points because I am a lot stronger compared to before. Of course, the angel won't provide me any loopholes to take advantage of,' James sighed.
'Anyways, one more thing I noticed is that the experience points are distributed equally among all the abilities automatically,' James contemplated.
'Hmmm, now lets focus on the development in each of the abilities,' James decided.
