11 Chapter - 9

Guys, I wanted to ask if you have any advice on starting an original novel. I have some ideas but I don't know if it could become popular.

My idea was a world fantasy way with all mythologies (a bit overused but interisting as usual) but add to the mix of all this world or at least my Mc (Eldritch x Ajin) since they are perfect together. What do you guys think?

I still need to think of a title.... It should be something like My friend and an eldritch entity or something like that... lol

So if you have any advice it would help me a lot <3

Chapter - 9: friend? Or something more?

--------------

[Jason Pov]

I was in the school cafeteria, my thoughts still on my recent meeting with Mary Jane, whom I certainly did not want to deal with just because of the web of fate.

More importantly, is her current personality that of the popular cliché girl, only more self-aware and likable?

Also, unlike Peter Parker, I had no reason to love her, since she is a stranger to me, even though I knew a lot about her through knowledge of the plot and my alternate selves.

In the meantime that I was thinking about this, Jessica Jones approached me with a warm and intimate smile. I had to admit that Her presence always seemed to put me at ease, perhaps just because she was one of the few friends I had.

"Hey, Jason, how are you doing?" she asked, her voice gentle and caring as she reached out to touch my arm, sending a pleasant shiver down my spine.

"I'm okay, thanks. Just dealing with some stuff," I replied, feeling surprisingly comfortable sharing my feelings with her.

Her eyes held genuine concern, and she nodded understandingly. "I heard about your uncle. I'm so sorry for your loss. If there's anything I can do to help or cheer you up, just let me know," she said, her words dripping with sincerity.

Her intimate gesture and words made me very happy and, for a moment, I thought that helping her was one of my best decisions to be able to have someone like Jessica in my life. "Thank you, Jessica. Your support means a lot to me," I said, my voice full of genuine appreciation.

She smiled warmly, and there was a glimmer of admiration in her eyes as she looked at me. "You don't have to go through this alone, Jason. I'm here for you," she said, her voice soft and comforting.

Your offer of support made me feel very appreciated by you. But there were some things that, to her misfortune, I could not yet reveal. "And I'm here for you too, Jessica. If you need someone to talk to or lean on, I will be there," I replied, wanting to let her know that I valued our friendship.

As we continued our conversation, I found myself very happy from her presence, forgetting about the crowded cafeteria around us. It was as if we were in our own little world, sharing thoughts and feelings without reservation.

Curious to know more about her plans, I asked, "So, any fun plans coming up?"

Her eyes lit up with excitement as she shared, "Actually, yeah! I'm going to a photography exhibit with a friend. It's going to be pretty cool."

[A/N: If you want you can give some ideas for this her friend since I haven't decided yet].

I admired her passion for photography and his artistic spirit. "It sounds amazing. Have you always been into photography? Right?" I asked her, genuinely interested in learning more about her interests.

Jessica nodded with enthusiasm, a soft smile gracing her lips. "Yes, it's one of my greatest passions. Capturing moments and emotions through my camera brings me so much joy," she said, her voice holding an intimate tone as if she were sharing a cherished secret with me.

I couldn't help but be happy for her that she had found what she would like to do with her life. "I would love to see your work sometime," I said, eager to learn more about this side of her that she was so passionate about.

A blush colored her cheeks as she replied, "I would be very happy indeed to show you my pictures sometime."

"Sure, I'd like that," I replied, "if you want, I can even model you for some photos, even though I'm not that handsome."

"Of course I would!" I couldn't help but look at her strangely at her overreaction.

"I-I mean if you agree I wouldn't mind," she said, Jessica as she hid her increasingly red and and evidently embarrassed face with her arms

Our conversation flowed effortlessly, and Jessica suggested that we do something nice together. "Hey, why don't we plan a day to do something fun? Maybe we could go to the amusement park or catch a movie?"

Hearing her words, I couldn't help but give a sincere smile, "Sure, I'd love to," I replied, trying to remain cool, but my smile betrayed me.

As we continued to talk in the cafeteria, several thoughts ran through my mind and I could not help but feel a sense of anger and a desire for violence.

Jessica had become a very special person to me, and I knew that our bond would continue to deepen with time. I didn't know if this friendship would turn into something bigger, or we would remain just close friends.

But of one thing I was very sure.... I was going to hunt that pulple man and then after finding him I was going to make him regret his entire existence in every parallel world.

If someone had hurt the people I really cared about. Then I would have shown them how poisonous a spider can really be.

As they continued talking in the cafeteria, Jessica could not help but say in an excited voice. "You know, we can take another trip like when you joined my family to go to Disney World," she said, with a mixture of surprise and amusement in her voice. "I still can't believe how lucky you were that you were able to get a ticket and join us on that trip."

A few months earlier I had had the opportunity to take a trip to Disney World with Jessica and her family. I had managed to get a ticket for myself, thanks to my incredible X.A.N.A.

Which had surprised her, since their tickets had been obtained through her father's boss, Tony Stark. To my "surprise," she had suggested that we all go together, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.

Sharing that intimate adventure with Jessica and her family also allowed me to alter the future and allow her to continue living a happy life. Without her losing her parents and blacking out for months, only to wake up alone with powers she could not understand.

I could only chuckle, remembering that my paranoia level had skyrocketed that day. "Yes, it was quite unexpected, actually. But I'm so grateful that it turned out that way. I had a great time with you and your family," I replied, remembering the fun times I had had with her.

Jessica smiled warmly as our blue eyes met, as a small blush grew on her cheeks and she could only look away from me with obvious embarrassment.

"W-We were all very happy that you came with us. The trip was even more special if we had you with us," he said, in a soft, genuine voice.

The trip to Disney World had been a turning point in our friendship, and it was clear that the experience had meant a lot to both of us.

For me, it was a chance to share an intimate adventure with Jessica and her family, getting to know them better and feeling part of something I could call family. And for Jessica, my presence added an extra layer of joy to the trip, deepening our bond.

"It meant a lot to me, too," I admitted, thinking about everything I had done since I had ended up in this universe. "I felt like I was part of something really special with you and your family. You made me feel like a real family."

Jessica's gaze softened and she reached out to gently touch my hand. "You are special to us, Jason. You are like an honorary member of our family," she said, with a funny little joke letting her sincerity shine through.

The moment was tender and full of unspoken emotions....

When the bell rang, signaling the end of the lunch break, Jessica gave my cheek a gentle caress before awkwardly pulling away. "Let's plan that day soon, okay? It will be a lot of fun," she said, with a playful glint in her eyes.

I gave a small smile, feeling a sense of normalcy that I was very pleased with, and the prospect of spending more time with Jessica outside of school was very appealing. "That sounds like a great idea," I replied, patting her head as if she had done a good job.

"Mhp" Jessica made a cute little pout, but she didn't take my hand off her head. She seemed to be enjoying our closeness.

"I love you, Jessica."

Her gaze softened, which seemed to be trying to tell me something. But in the end she simply said what she was thinking right now just for the two of us. "I know stupid...

A/N: New chapter, hope you enjoy it!

A little chater, from Jessica Jomes, to show her thoughts toward our Jason. The next chapter will be about them and then continue with the story.

Tell me what you think of the story with lots of comments to let me know what you think and what you would like to see or even some improvements I could make.

I will use some sources from some good Spider-Man comics, some of you may have already figured it out from some things, but please don't make spoilers for those who have not read the comics. Let the mystery remain.
