21 Smart Yon Rogg

Caesar's flat-out refusal and disdainful tone ignited a fierce anger among the Kree soldiers.

"I didn't intend to stir up trouble, but your arrogance is just... Now, hand over the Tesseract, and do it quick," Caesar demanded.

As the cream of the crop within the Kree Empire, the soldiers boasted the backing of the vast empire, giving them a sense of invincibility throughout the universe. There were few forces that could make them even flinch.

But Caesar and Valina standing before them weren't in the database of adversaries that Yon Rogg and his comrades would retreat from.

Summoning their energy weapons, the soldiers aimed straight at the duo.

Yon Rogg, didn't immediately launch an attack. Instead, he called upon members of the team to scan the two with the energy scanning device of the Kree Empire.

Yon Rogg couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The man before him was too composed, too fearless.

"Oh really?" Caesar retorted, casting a contemptuous glance at the Kree soldiers with weapons.

"If you mistake truth for arrogance, then so be it!"

With a surge of divine power, Caesar unleashed a sudden explosion, creating a fierce storm within the cramped confines of the cruiser.

In an instant, all the other members of the Kree troop, except for Yon Rogg, were hurled against the inner walls of the cruiser, then slumped to the ground.

Yon Rogg struggled to remain upright, his eyes squeezed shut.

Internally, he cursed, "How is this possible? How could such a formidable individual appear near this planet?"

"Could it be the Asgardians? One of second-order strength, and another of fourth-order?" suggested a trooper, still reeling from the shock, while grappling to stand.

The threat level posed by a second-order Protoss was already significant; as for a fourth-order, it surpassed the bounds of risk assessment entirely!

Yon Rogg overheard the fallen team member's response, but he preferred to confirm it firsthand.

The fourth-order Asgardian, along with Asgard behind them, represented true power capable of dominating the universe, with few limitations.

Even if Ronan's Star Fleet were to intervene, it would only amount to adding more fuel to the fire, ultimately futile.

Fortunately, they were dealing with Asgard, leaving room for negotiation.

Once the surge of divine power subsided, Yon Rogg led his Interstellar team to sheathe their weapons, forcing a smile as he addressed respectfully, "My respects to the great Odin!"

The Kree Empire undoubtedly had insights into Asgard, a race that had nearly conquered the universe.

"The Kree Empire and Asgard have coexisted in peace. The Tesseract in your possession is indeed a prized possession of our empire."

"And this the cruiser of our Kerry Empire?" Yon Rogg pointed out, diverting attention.

As the leader of the Interstellar team, Yon Rogg not only possessed the strength of a third-order but also displayed agility and wit.

Yon Rogg hoped that, in the name of peace, the mighty Asgardian would entrust the Tesseract to him.

Caesar chuckled, tossing the Tesseract casually. "If you wish to greet Odin, I suggest you do so in person!"

"And when did the Tesseract become a treasure of your Kree Empire? I find that hard to believe," he added playfully.

Yon Rogg inwardly winced at the mention of Odin.

Struggling to maintain a composed demeanor, Yon Rogg found himself at a loss for a solution.

Observing the impasse, the tall, fiery Bron Char exchanged a knowing glance with Yon Rogg, hinting at a joint attack on Caesar.

To him, the Asgardians were just like a bunch of mice making nests in Asgard.

In the universe, there hasn't been any record of Asgard's battle for nearly a thousand years.

With the captain by their side, they were capable enough to hold back the Asgardian.

Ronan's fleet could arrive before long.

When that happens, we'll just take out those two guys and secure the Tesseract.

Yon Rogg knew a lot about the members next to him. Seeing that the battle was about to begin, he quickly grabbed Bron Char.

As the leader of the interstellar team and a high-ranking executive of the Kerry Empire, his third-order strength allowed him to be privy to many universe secrets.

That included the strength of the fourth-order Protoss.

That's enough to rival the might of a super empire all on his own.

It's uncertain who would come out on top if the entire Kerry Empire fleet was assembled!

Plus, it's not feasible for all Kerry Empire fleets to gather here quickly.

"My lord, the Tesseract is yours," Yon Rogg smoothly conceded, with a smile coaxing his team members to clear the way.

Caesar glanced at Yon Rogg, a smile of approval forming on his lips. "Being an elite of the Kree Empire isn't just for show. He truly has a keen eye!"

With the Tesseract in hand, Caesar strode past the Kree troops, ready to pilot his own spaceship into the universe.

"Ah," a deep sigh escaped suddenly, freezing time for a moment!
