7 CHAPTER 7

After Su Chen answered three soul-searching questions, he fell silent for a moment.

It wasn't that her topic completely shocked him, but...

"Hey, aren't you a bit too old-fashioned with that tone, sis? When I was your age, I was doing all sorts of big things, sweeping through the city..."

Mindy observed Su Chen's speechless expression and gestured dramatically.

Her head sway indeed seemed to imply some fighting skills, enough to deceive people.

"This cup of lemon tea is for you. Remember to go home after you finish drinking."

Mindy didn't pay much attention to the indifferent boy and left, her golden ponytails swaying beneath her cute, petite figure.

For a moment, Su Chen thought of his sister.

Half an hour later, after satiating his hunger, Su Chen left the restaurant. It was late, and finding a place to stay became a pressing issue.

However, an immortal physique ensured he remained physically strong, and the recent nuclear explosion left him relatively unfatigued.

"The most important thing is to find my loved ones."

Boom!

A steel pin bounced from Su Chen's hand, rose into the air, then fell back, disappearing upon landing. In less than a second, a new coin appeared in his palm.

Boom!

Another crisp sound echoed as Su Chen practiced his reality rewriting ability.

He knew excessive use of this power could lead to genetic attraction, but for now, he focused on mastering it.

"The more you practice, the more you evolve..."

The system diligently recorded his gene transformations.

Walking the night streets, Su Chen, donned in black, flipped a coin, pondering his life's path. His once dream of a peaceful life now seemed distant amidst the city's filth.

He desired strength, the kind to crush all obstacles.

Suddenly, the sound of gunshots rang out nearby, but Su Chen remained indifferent. He'd seen enough crime since his organ trafficking ordeal.

His experiences had jaded him, changing his view of the world.

While his mother preached kindness, recent events left him resentful.

He was torn between a desire for peace and the need for revenge.

As he contemplated, Su Chen noticed a girl in a black cloak and leather jacket with purple hair fighting nearby.

He didn't know her, but recognized her as the girl from the restaurant.

Coincidence...

Frowning, he sensed trouble ahead for her.

---

Boom!

A suppressed gunshot erupted, causing the girl to lose her balance mid-air and fall. However, to the assailant's surprise, her black leather coat was embedded with bullets.

With a furious grunt, the girl threw a butterfly knife with precision, instantly incapacitating three assailants.

The alleyway was left with only her murderous presence.

Unaware of her recent fame as the "Super Killer" in Manhattan, Su Chen regarded her as just another stranger.

He took a glance and turned to leave.

"That kid from earlier?"

The Super Killer, Mindy, observed Su Chen's slender figure and frowned. It was well past midnight, and he hadn't returned home yet.

Dressed in a purple wig and suit, Mindy decided to tease him, asking if he needed help finding his parents.

However, before she could finish, a white car accelerated toward them.

Su Chen stood in its path, seemingly frozen.

To the driver, it appeared as if the boy was paralyzed with fear, anticipating his impending demise. However, he couldn't miss the mockery in the boy's eyes.

"Die."

In a whisper, Su Chen exerted his power, causing the car to crumple as if hit by a meteorite.

Mindy, stunned, watched as Su Chen's figure vanished into the night.

Flustered, she realized the danger and urged the boy to leave, but it was too late. The boy disappeared into the darkness, leaving her astonished.

Back at her safe house, Mindy, now with her natural golden hair, stored away her weapons.
