A black-haired boy with a few silver strands was meditating on top of a giant hole as two marbles spun around him.

Alex's complexion was absolutely pale, but his expression never changed, the process continued for a few more hours until Alex's appearance improved.

Like 3 years ago, the house did not have many changes, but unlike 3 years ago, a brown head with touches of white arrived to receive Alex.

"Finally you come back, Irene said that the package you asked for has arrived, and she said that I can accompany you to pick it up," Marie said with a reproachful voice, since she rarely could leave the house, but with Alex she was an exception.

Alex didn't say anything, he just wanted a glass of water to continue, anyway he didn't want to comment to Marie that if he didn't leave then the city would be completely destroyed.

"Don't ignore me" now Marie changed her strategy, turning puppy eyes.

But Alex did not flinch, he was in his affairs, looking in his secret place where he got a box of cookies, but being almost empty Alex had to go to stock up, since no meal was complete without a good dessert.

And it wasn't new that the two of them went to town to hang out.

As always, Marie wore gloves, especially if she was walking holding Alex's hand.

It was so relaxing for her to get out of the house, but the most fun for her was stealing her cookies from Alex.

One of the first things Alex learned was to fly, so he always walked a good amount of distance to train, and he never went to the same place, but sooner or later someone would notice, since Alex wasn't exactly someone he was. friendly with nature.

That's why the ride was canceled while Alex ignored Marie's complaints, but everything got complicated at the worst time, since just when Alex turned around to go flying with Marie, he was interrupted.

Alex immediately started looking around, but it seemed that the man was on his own.

"Hello, my name is Connor, they would be doing me a great favor answering some questions" Connor said kindly, but it was as if he didn't ask, since he seemed to have no intention of hearing a negative.

Alex didn't have much of a reaction, just putting on a slight doubtful expression to go unnoticed, but it was different with Marie, since Alex could feel her hand increasing his pressure.

To avoid attention in Marie, Alex started to speak, "Sure, but our parents are already waiting for us"

"Easy, that's a little question." Connor was calm enough, and seemed friendly enough, but everything changed when he asked his question, "Are you by any chance the mutant who's been destroying our mountains?"

Connor spoke in a chilling voice, and although Alex completely passed the test by feigning complete ignorance, Marie couldn't help but scream when she heard the word mutant, as she struggled not to fall to the ground because of how fast her legs were shaking.

"You girl, you will come with me" Connor reached out to grab Marie, but Alex was quick when he took off her glove so she would have contact with Connor.

In the distance there was a huge crash when a car made a strange turn, causing all people to divert their attention to that spot.

Alex was careful when using his powers, but it was better to act quickly.

Marie weakened, falling unconscious, and likewise Connor, but the peculiarity was that the two were standing as if nothing happened.

The trio acted like nothing as they quickly drove away, and when no one was in sight, the three began to fly away from the city.

Alex arrived in a short time to his house to put Marie to rest, he could not waste time since he had left an unconscious man lying in the nearby forest, and it was very important that Alex find out what information Connor was hiding.

And when the silver-haired was about to leave, he noticed a backpack along with a note near the door.

Alex destroyed the note while grabbing her backpack, "I really hate when she does that"
