2 The Titan

Hey guys, just a heads up—I've decided to change the main character's name to Christopher.

Enjoy the chapter.

.....

Luckily, the transformation process was swift. In a matter of seconds, Christopher underwent a dramatic change, morphing into a humanoid beast reminiscent of the formidable Abomination.

[Ding!]

[Since the host successfully extracted genes for the first time, the system will reward the newbie with a gift package.]

Excitedly, Christopher used his consciousness to open the gift package and beheld an evolutionary gene. His heart raced with anticipation. With this gene, he believed he could rival even the mighty Hulk.

"System, grant me the evolved hate gene," Christopher demanded.

[The hate gene is undergoing evolution.]

[The hate gene has successfully evolved. Congratulations to the host for acquiring the Titan gene.]

Following the system's guidance, Christopher's body underwent yet another transformation.

This time, perhaps due to his abominable constitution, the pain was less intense than before. However, the changes were monumental.

Integrated with the new Titan gene, Christopher now stood at a towering height of 5 meters and weighed over 2,000 kilograms. His once-green skin had transformed into a gleaming bronze hue. His back and waist radiated immense strength, rendering him a true behemoth, far removed from his humanoid form as Abomination.

With a sense of satisfaction, Christopher couldn't help but smile as he felt the overwhelming power coursing through his veins. Finally, he felt secure.

Meanwhile, Abomination, sprawled on the ground, watched Christopher's transformation unfold before his eyes. Astonished, he stammered, "How... How can you transform twice?"

Christopher met Abomination's gaze and replied, "Take a guess."

Initially, the bystanders mistook the commotion for the rampage of Abomination and paid it little heed. However, when they turned and beheld Christopher, towering larger than the Hulk himself, fear gripped them. In a panic, they aimed their weapons at Christopher, ready to defend themselves.

General Ross, bewildered by the sudden turn of events, struggled to make sense of the situation.

"What's going on? Why has another colossal monster emerged?" he wondered aloud.

Suddenly, a piercing scream shattered the tension, echoing through the chaos.

Betty's sudden scream echoed through the room, capturing everyone's attention. Gasps filled the air, and one man expressed envy with a "Wow."

All eyes, except for General Ross, were fixed on Christopher. He looked down to find his situation a bit exaggerated. A soldier tossed him a roll of green cloth, advising, "Hey, man, use this to cover up."

Christopher caught the cloth, swiftly tying it around his waist and securing it with strong knots. As he finished, disappointed sighs emanated from the intrigued women.

General Ross, unfazed, questioned, "Who are you?"

"I'm Christopher, and I can help you catch the Hulk," he replied calmly, his voice occasionally carrying a low roar, perhaps a hint of his giant alter ego.

"What do you want?" General Ross inquired, his ambition evident, willing to strike deals with the devil to achieve his goals.

"Tell me the whereabouts of the Hulk," Christopher demanded, recognizing the need for cooperation.

The Hulk had already vanished.

"Don't play tricks, or my army will crush you," warned General Ross, his threat hanging in the air.

But Christopher only smirked at the naked threat.

He then commanded his subordinates via walkie-talkie: "Tell me the whereabouts of the Hulk."

The response came promptly, revealing the Hulk's location, heading towards Forest Park.

"Use a helicopter to guide me there," Christopher requested, unfamiliar with his surroundings.

"Send two helicopters," ordered General Ross, considering Christopher's colossal size.

Within minutes, two helicopters arrived. As Christopher prepared to follow them, the previously weakened Abomination stood up, declaring, "I'm going too, I'm going to knock Hulk down."

Abomination, with a rapid recovery, almost reached his peak strength in minutes.

"Go, but obey orders. Disobey, and you'll face consequences," warned General Ross.

Abomination, loyal to General Ross, assured, "Yes, General," making a comical military salute.

With a wave, General Ross signaled to proceed. Abomination and Christopher started chasing after the helicopters. As they were doing so Abomination turned to Christopher, asking, "How powerful are you?"

"I've utilized your genetic blueprint to ascend to the ranks of the Titans, making my power tenfold greater than yours," Christopher declared truthfully.

The Titans, beings of ancient legend, once held dominion over the earth. Though devoid of magical abilities, they were imbued with immense strength, impervious to conventional weaponry, fire, and water, and unrivaled in close combat. Thus, Christopher's claim held no falsehoods.

"Ten times?" Abomination gasped in astonishment.

Christopher nodded solemnly.

"Can you assist me in attaining Titanhood?" Abomination inquired, his gaze a mixture of envy and resentment.

Abomination, driven by an insatiable thirst for power, feared not even death itself. He had dared to confront the Hulk with his mortal form, a testament to his unyielding pursuit of strength.

However, Christopher shook his head resolutely. "No," he stated firmly. Another formidable adversary would only amplify the dangers they faced, a risk Christopher refused to entertain. Moreover, he lacked the capability to facilitate such transformations, relying instead on the system for gene extraction.

At the rejection, Abomination's countenance contorted with rage, his breath quickening and fists clenched in a display of pent-up fury. Veins bulged across his body, hinting at the violent impulse simmering within him.

Observing Abomination's volatile state, Christopher issued a chilling ultimatum, "You're no match for me. I suggest you heed my warning, or I won't hesitate to eliminate you."

Struggling to rein in his tumultuous emotions, Abomination grappled with the urge to retaliate.

"Mr. Christopher, Blonsky, and the Hulk are holed up in the cavern below. General Ross has authorized your intervention," the soldiers following them relayed.

They jumped higher than before. With resounding crashes, they breached the ground, carving a path to the vast cavern entrance.

Abomination bellowed into the darkness, "Hulk, show yourself and face your demise!"

In response, a thunderous roar echoed from the depths, heralding the Hulk's charge like an unstoppable force of nature.

Undeterred, Abomination charged forward, only to be swiftly repelled by the Hulk's overwhelming strength.

As the Hulk turned his attention to Christopher, the latter deftly evaded his colossal fist and seized his wrist. With practiced precision, Christopher executed a flawless over-the-shoulder throw, sending the Hulk crashing to the ground with a resounding impact.
