Alerted Apocalypse

"I know someone else. I'll take you to them!"

Psylocke sheathed her long knife and led Apocalypse out of the underground bar to an abandoned factory where they would find another Mutant known as "Angel."

"Who are you?"

"Angel," whose wings were scorched by high-voltage electricity, stood before the trio with tattered wings.

"Uh... I'm sorry, I didn't know he was in this state," Psylocke apologized to Apocalypse and suggested finding another person.

"No! It's fine!"

Apocalypse shook his head, refusing to give up on Angel. He pointed at him and declared, "Child, I will give you great power!"

A surge of energy enveloped Angel, transforming his tattered wings into a metallic form. The once-damaged wings now gleamed with a cold light, shaped like sharp swords.

With three knights already acquired, Apocalypse realized that only one more remained to complete his ensemble.

"It's still the last one."

As Apocalypse prepared to let Psylocke lead him to find the Nightcrawler, he suddenly sensed a powerful force.

"Huh? This force..."

Apocalypse, in horror, looked into the distance and towards the United States, realizing the presence of a perfect psychic power.

"Found him!"

At the same time, in the Mutant school, Charles was using a brainwave magnifier to search for Apocalypse. Unbeknownst to him, Apocalypse had detected Charles's presence.

"So, you've come to me. Are you planning to have a good talk with this Mutant?" Alex lounged on the sofa in the manor, observing Charles and Eric, who had matured over the years.

"That's right, if this guy is allowed to act recklessly, the peace that was finally won will be torn again," Charles nodded.

Alex's gaze subtly intensified. In the realm of Marvel villains, two primary archetypes exist.

One type is those who revel in evil without any discernible purpose, born to spread chaos and destruction.

The other type is purposeful evil, driven by its own ideals and values, pursuing a twisted sense of purpose.

Regrettably, Apocalypse falls into the second category and is at the extreme end of it.

Apocalypse staunchly adheres to the survival of the fittest doctrine, firmly believing that Mutants should dominate others. As the first Mutant to emerge in the world, he sees all Mutants as his progeny.

In the movies, unless there's a direct conflict of interest with Apocalypse, he refrains from killing Mutants. His attitude is both cordial and ominous, presenting an odd mix of a seemingly caring parent who, despite intending to destroy the world, does so to create a haven for Mutants. It's an evil philosophy with a peculiar charm.

"Apocalypse, I know this guy. He was the first Mutant in ancient Egypt three thousand years ago, revered as a god. In his eyes, all Mutants are his children. He believes Mutants should rule the world, while ordinary people deserve to be enslaved by Mutants, just like insignificant ants," Alex explained softly.

Eric regarded him with a thoughtful expression. Indeed, how similar this Apocalypse's philosophy is to Eric's former self!

However, now, Eric is more inclined to elevate ordinary people to Mutant status.

"Apocalypse has returned, and he aims to reshape the world, destroying everything to create a dynasty composed of Mutants," Alex added casually.

Charles, holding a cigarette in his trembling hand, stared at Alex with determination. "We mustn't let this guy succeed! In the present era of science, restoring a dynasty? How absurd is that?"

"Whatever it just so happens that Apocalypse possesses to reshape the world. Also, even nuclear weapons can't impact Apocalypse."

Suddenly, Alex's expression changed, and he faintly said to Charles, "I'm leaving this matter to you; I have more important things to attend to. Eric, you stay."

With that, Alex teleported away directly.

Both Charles and Eric were bewildered, but Charles, eager to intercept the queen, left in a hurry. Eric sat on the sofa, awaiting Alex's return.

...

Poland.

Alex's figure arrived at the previously scouted woods. More than a dozen guards were present, escorting a mother and daughter.

It was indeed Eric's wife and daughter.

"Who are you?" The lead guard raised his bow and arrow, eyeing Alex with suspicion.

With a wave of his hand, Alex effortlessly lifted the guards, reducing them to ashes.

Approaching the mother and daughter, he spoke gently, "Don't be afraid. Eric is my brother, and I'll take you to see him now."

Extending his hand and grasping the shoulders of the mother and daughter, he teleported directly to his manor.

"Alex, what are you..." Eric looked at Alex with confusion, wondering why he brought his wife and daughter here.

"I placed a heart mark on your daughter. If anyone threatens this little girl, it will automatically alert me. Just now, I sensed a potential attack on your wife and daughter, so I brought them here."
