74 A Thousand Years

In the blink of an eye, a thousand years passed. They present time.

Alex, with a casual intervention, disrupted the carefully orchestrated narrative of reversing the future.

Time marched forward, transitioning from the 70s to the 80s.

Charles remained devoted to managing his variant "Human School," while Eric continued his globe-trotting activities with the "Mutant Brotherhood."

Alex dedicated himself to developing the of Stark Industries in Africa, closely monitoring the Mutant situation in the region. During his endeavors, he encountered Storm, among others. 

Amidst the routine, Alex found amusement in teasing the three women who teased him daily. Additionally, he took the time to guide Jean in harnessing her strength, controlling her heart, and fostering her abilities.

In Cairo, Egypt, a woman draped in a black robe, revealing only her eyes, navigated the city's streets. After a ten-minute walk, she entered the backyard of a fast-food restaurant.

"Who are you?" a middle-aged man with sunglasses in the restaurant's backyard demanded. "How did you get in? This is private property. Strangers aren't welcome!"

"Sir, your wool blanket is exquisite. Would you be willing to sell it to me?" the black-robed woman asked, advancing toward the man with sunglasses.

The middle-aged man, wearing sunglasses with an impatient expression, stepped forward, urging, "Not sell it, leave quickly. This place is—"

Before he could finish his sentence, the black-robed woman raised her hand and delivered a decisive blow to the man's neck.

The forceful strike left the sunglasses-wearing man's legs weak. He didn't have a chance to utter a word before rolling his eyes and collapsing to the ground.

Ignoring the stunned man in sunglasses, the woman in the black robe took a couple of quick steps and grabbed the woolen blanket lying on the ground.

Lifting the woolen blanket revealed a hole in the ground that descended abruptly into darkness, exposed to the sunlight.

The black-robed woman pulled off her veil, revealing herself as Grete, the professor's former lover. She looked at the cave below, took a deep breath, and walked in.

Shortly after, a loud crack echoed.

The earth began to shake violently, with the hole at its center. Countless chunks of soil rolled up, and chaos ensued.

"What happened?"

"Earthquake! Run away! It's an earthquake!"

Grete emerged from the hole just in time. The next moment, the hole collapsed, burying everyone below.

The sudden earthquake, even reaching Alex in the United States, was felt through the intense vibrations.

Ten years had passed since the reversal of the future. Jean Grey, once a six-year-old girl, had now grown into a young woman. Meanwhile, Alex's appearance remained unchanged.

"Teacher, this is..." Jean raised her head, looking into the distance with a severe expression.

Alex's gaze was profound. At this moment, was Apocalypse indeed resurrected? Yet, for Alex, it was inconsequential.

"Don't worry about him; it seems we'll have to make a trip to Cairo," Alex remarked casually.

While Alex wasn't overly concerned, Charles felt differently.

"This force is incredibly potent!" Charles raised his head, peering toward Egypt with a grave expression. He muttered, "When did such a formidable Mutant emerge? This force surpasses even me!"

The sudden appearance of such a powerful Mutant unsettled Charles. A force of this magnitude had the potential to alter the status quo and disrupt the current balance.

After reversing the future, though some conflicts between Mutants and humans persisted in certain regions, the overall situation was peaceful, with no intense confrontations.

Charles treasured this hard-won "peaceful coexistence" and wouldn't allow anyone to jeopardize it.

"I need to contact Eric and Alex; we must discuss how to handle this powerful Mutant that has suddenly emerged."

Charles entered the basement and approached the brainwave magnifier.

Putting on the helmet and activating the brainwave amplifier, Charles's psychic power scanned the world, locating Erik.

"What? Eric, this guy, went to Poland in incognito?" Charles was surprised to discover that Magneto had ventured to Poland, married an ordinary human woman, and even had a daughter.
