Chapter 139: Joining

　　　　Nick Fury quietly avoids everyone and heads for Mike's house alone.

　　He has known Mike for over ten years, since he was a junior agent.

　　They were comrades in arms, friends, and even a life-saver.

　　"Slow?" Nick Fury grimaced and said, "Do you know how busy I am?"

　　"Yo! You're the one who wanted to come, and now you're blaming me?"

　　Mike said as he moved out of the way and said, "Coming in or not?"

　　Nick Fury strode in, closed the door behind him and whispered to Mike, "What's going on?"

　　"I'll talk to you later."

　　"I'm begging you, don't give me any more work, I've been going crazy lately."

　　"You asked for it, who made you this shitty director and you're wandering around the world, dealing with threats all day long."

　　"You think I want to!" Nick Fury glared at Mike and said, "If you'd agreed to help me, wouldn't I have been less busy?"

　　"Help you?" Mike looked at Nick Fury like he was a fool and said, "It's not like I've got nothing to do, I've got a big crop to plant, I'm just a farmer!"

　　Nick Fury sucks his teeth in anger.

　　"By the way, how's that going?"

　　Mike couldn't resist asking.

　　He was curious to know what would happen after telling Nick Fury in advance that S.H.I.E.L.D. had been infiltrated by Hydra.

　　Nick Fury looked serious and said, "You're right, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been infiltrated, more so than I thought."

　　He laughed bitterly and said, "Ho, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., how about calling me Director of Hydra?"

　　Two years ago, he had come to see Mike and during a casual conversation with him, Mike had 'inadvertently' leaked the news, he didn't believe it at first, but after his secret investigation, his heart was pounding.

　　"What are you going to do?"

　　"What to do?" Nick Fury said decisively, "S.H.I.E.L.D. is beyond redemption, and the only way to get rid of Hydra is to simply overthrow S.H.I.E.L.D."

　　After a pause, he grinned and said, "But now is not the time."

　　S.H.I.E.L.D. still had value for use now, and until he was ready, as long as Hydra had no intention of jumping out, he would pretend he didn't know and just use Hydra as S.H.I.E.L.D.

　　This is a long term plan that will take some time before S.H.I.E.L.D. can be hollowed out unknowingly, and before Hydra can be wiped out with minimal loss.

　　Nick Fury couldn't help but ask, he and Mike had been talking for so long and hadn't gotten down to business, instead he looked like he had come to give Mike a job report.

　　Nick Fury walked over to them with a smile on his face, held out his hand to them and said, "Charles and Eric, do you remember me?"

　　They nodded.

　　Although they hadn't seen each other since the time of the Skrulls, they remembered very well the way they had been knocked off their feet and almost died.

　　Nick Fury smiled happily and said, "Mike keeps telling me about you guys, he ..."

　　"Why do you talk so much crap?"

　　Mike gave a sidelong glance, placed a glass of water in front of Nick Fury's face and said, "You're here to talk about business, not to chat."

　　Nick Fury's mouth twitched as he looked down at the water in front of his face and said, "You're too mean, is that how you ask me to do my job?"

　　Mike grabbed his glass and Nick Fury hastily picked it up and opened his mouth, "Come on, let's get down to business."

　　Mike sat down and said to Eric, "Go on, tell him what you think."

　　The two men nodded and gave a quick and clear account of their plans.

　　Build a mutant school, kill the Black Queen, train mutant heroes, change the world's perception of mutants, and give them the right to live freely under this sky without discrimination ...

　　Even Nick Fury was dumbfounded and lost the ability to speak for a moment when he heard this plan that would change the world.

　　"Gulp!"

　　He couldn't help but pour himself a mouthful of water, his eyes moving back and forth between Mike and his sons.
