85 Chapter 84: Mystique joins the team (2)

"Woah, Who is this?" Pietro exclaimed as soon as he saw Mystique in her glorious blue skin step out from the portal.

'He did not even let me pack. Not that I have much to pack. At least, my ability gives me unlimited clothes and free makeup.' Mystique thought as she took in the view around her.

She noticed the kid with silver hair eyeing her while a redhead girl looked at her curiously from behind him. Then there was the blonde telepath who she recognized as the CEO of Frost Internationals. The most recent billionaire and one of the richest persons in the world currently. There was also the guy who had a grin on his face with a card deck in his hand.

She recognized them as the mutants that she had met when she visited the mercenary for the first time with both Erik and Charles to recruit them to fight against Sebastian Shaw.

"Ah yes, It seems introductions are in order," Law said as he introduced the four members to Mystique with both their real names and mercenary names and also introduced Mystique to everyone.

"Wow, What is your mutant power?" Pietro asked curiously

"I can transform into any person," Mystique replied

"Wow, that's so cool. You would become a perfect girlfriend by changing into any of my crushes. You can be Gal Gadot, Emma Watson, Margot Robbie. Just Wow!" Pietro exclaimed as Law rushed to hug him.

"Finally someone understands. You are a man of culture, Pietro. I knew that you had it in you." Law exclaimed with fake tears hugging Pietro.

Mystique blushed a little while feeling embarrassed as she heard Pietro's words.

"Little brother! Behave yourself!" Both Emma and Wanda glared at Law and Pietro respectively.

Mystique tried to change the topic by asking questions of her own "What powers do you guys have?"

Pietro smiled "I can run super fast. And apparently, according to Law, I have super fast reflexes, fast regeneration, and a brain that works at a very fast speed."

"Ah, Good. At least you remembered the lessons about the full extent of your power." Law grinned and gave himself a thumbs up for doing a good job teaching Pietro the full extent of his powers.

Pietro gave Mystique a demo of his power by running to the kitchen and grabbing a pizza for her followed by running again to get a diet coke.

Mystique could not believe her eyes. She could not believe the stupidity of his power. She did not even catch a flash of the boy's hair when he ran.

Emma then turned to her "I actually have two abilities. I am a telepath."

As she said that, Mystique heard Emma's voice in her head. Mystique groaned at that 'A female Charles, just what I wanted.'

Emma chuckled at that 'I have been forbidden by Law to read the minds of any of the team members. It's considered very rude to read the minds of friends and family.'

"Thank you, Emma. I don't really like my mind being read." Mystique said before turning towards Law "So Law is your name."

Law glared at Emma who gave an "Oopsie!"

"Anyways my second ability is to turn into this diamond form." Emma showed her diamond form as Mystique's eyes again widened.

'I have never seen someone with two mutant abilities. Unbelievable. They are all monsters.' Mystique thought

"My power is molecular acceleration. I have the power to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy, thus "charging" that item with explosive results." Remy aka Gambit said

'Someone with normal power. Not that I understand much of it.' Mystique thought

"According to Law, I can someday cause explosions as big as an atom bomb." Remy grinned as he said that

'I spoke too soon. I hope at least she is normal in this group.' Mystique sighed as she then looked at the redhead girl.

"Umm, I can use magic." Wanda shyly said

"Magic?" Mystique asked stupified

"Stop downplaying your power, sis," Pietro said

"She could do much more than magic. She can destroy a large building within a second and throw it upon you. She can even read your thoughts and mind control you. She can even fly." As Pietro told about Wanda's abilities, she blushed in embarrassment.

"My powers are nothing compared to big bro Law. He has so many powers. He can teleport, create portals, lift things, fire energy blasts, lightning bolts, switch places with others, heal people, make barriers, etc." Wanda began narrating Law's powers and stopped only when Law put a finger to his lips.

"Ah well, You must be tired from the day Mystique. Let me show you your lodgings." Law said as he directed Mystique to her room.

On the way, Mystique noticed the sentinels.

"Why are they so similar to what Trask was building? Don't tell me." Mystique glared at Law who turned back sensing her glare.

"What's wrong newbie?" Law asked sensing her glare

"These robots, why are they similar to the design of the sentinels I destroyed when I killed Trask? Did you happen to use his designs to make your own sentinels?"
