7 Chapter 7: Time Skip and Progress

Law Cromwell P.O.V.

One year and two months have passed since I came to this world. Nothing substantial happened in the past year. No supervillains, No superheroes and no world ending threats yet.

As for my school life, I became good friends with Peter and Gwen. Peter is very friendly if you get to know him properly. He will be rightly called 'The friendly neighborhood spiderman.' He invited me to his place for dinner many times and let me tell you Aunt May's food is delicious. Uncle Ben is the coolest uncle there is and I am definitely not letting him die. But his death is necessary for Peter's character growth so I will just save him in time before he dies if the story goes as the movies.

Even though Peter is not the spider man yet he is still a tech genius, a literal genius. It would have shown more if he was not so passionate about photography.

Speaking of geniuses Gwen is a genius in her own right. She is gifted in biochemistry. If not for Urahara's knowledge, I wouldn't even be capable of knowing a quarter of what she knows along the topic of biochemistry.

I even had a decent friendship with Flash as we were on the same football team. He was cool after he stopped bullying. Now, I was very proud that I managed to stop a person from bullying by just talking and maybe a punch and a few cupcake smashing.

As for why I was on the football team, it's because I never really enjoyed sports in my previous life due to my illness so I decided to do some things which I couldn't and that included sports.

I have a somewhat decent friendship with Harry mostly because he is Peter's best friend. He saved Peter many times from Flash before I joined the school so he is not yet the evil Harry that just wants his homework to be done by Peter and acknowledged by his dad Normon Osborne.

I didn't talk much to Mary Jane at first but after she started dating Harry I talked to her and got to know her. She is a fun, free-spirited girl who prefers to not take life too seriously, but at the same time she is a very supportive, loyal and good friend. Those were my first thoughts about her as I didn't let myself define people on who they will be in the future based on comics or movies. But my thoughts about her quickly changed as I saw her jealous of Gwen's geniusness or maybe even beauty. I could also see that she was with Harry so she could be associated with an Osborne.

As for Jessica Jones, I didn't talk much with her. She is a quiet girl. I used 'SCAN' on her which is one of ope ope no mi's ability to see if she has powers and she did. But she didn't make much use of her powers and I could see she was scared of using them.

Anyways as for me, I night patrolled most of the nights except Sundays since well even I need a break to relax sometimes.

I stopped various crimes including murders, Kidnapping, rape, Bank and museum robberies, Drug trafficking etc. I saved countless people as my name became popular as the Black Mast in the city. Most of the people have guessed that I could teleport and there was a huge debate over it on the news channels. Some didn't believe it, some wanted to find me to experiment with me and some wanted me to hand myself to the authorities and donate my blood samples for the future of humanity.

Even my friends became curious about Black Mask and wanted to know about him. But I am no Spiderman that I would just tell people about my abilities or let them click my pictures so they can target them to get me.

I will make sure Spiderman doesn't do this shit too.

I was not on police radar yet as I have not yet killed a person. I am not scared of Police but of S.H.I.E.L.D who might take interest in me because of my powers. And if S.H.I.E.L.D takes interest in you, it means Hydra also has interest in you.

So before starting to kill criminals, I first decided to improve both of my templates enough to start my future plans and deal with any problems easily.

So in the past year I worked on my template, let me tell you in short what all I have learned.

Let's start with Urahara's template. My current progress was at 28 percent with it. The first percent was about basic swordsmanship and gave me the Zanpakutō (Benihime) as a reward. The next 9% was about intermediate swordsmanship and Hohō which includes Shunpo.

Hohō is a defensive style of fighting which relates to footwork. It is one of the four basic combat skills of the Shinigami.The skill level of Hohō can be enhanced and improved through concentration, training, and mastery of it.

Shunpo is the greatest expression of the Hohō technique. Shunpo in simple words means Flash steps. It is a movement technique which allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow.

At 10% of the template I got a cloak which was created by Urahara to hide his spiritual pressure which is kinda useless to me. But It allows the wearer to blend in with the air around him, almost completely concealed from sight. So it's like an invisibility cloak and it mixed well with my 'Black Mask' uniform as it is also completely back.

Hmm, Do I have an obsession with black colour?
