61 Chapter 61: The Six Sentinels

Its been an year since Law's date with Gwen and him graciously taking Vibranium from Ullyses Klaus.
Since then he has been going on constant dates with her. They both go to the Empire state University now.
Peter has become a photographer for the Daily Buggle. Harry and Mj broke up after Harry's dad Norman Osborne aka Green Goblin cut him off.
Law did his mercenary missions regularly. But most of his time was dedicated to making his sentinels.
He has gone to all the temples and have retreived the different jewels or arifacts which contained the divinity of the gods. He used his devil fruit powers to "Shamble' the gods influence in it.
He could do that after he reached 50 percent in Law's template. His ope ope no mi powers increased as a result.
After he removed the elder god's influence from the jewels, they became energy sources for his sentinels.
But he realised that the jewels without the God's actively feeding it with their divinity would not last long so he used both his shinigami powers and ope ope no mi powers to leave a very tiny part of soul in each of them and take control of the artifacts through them.
But before he did that, he made sure that the stones were cut down by the elder gods and they would not be able to influence or control his soul.
Law was not worried though as he could just stop the supply of Reaitsu to the part of his souls to shut them down forever.
He did get weak for a few weaks after cutting down his soul. It was pretty damn painful too but his ope ope no mi powers shined once again proving once again, why it is the most powerful devil fruit in Law's opinion.
Anyways, these jewels with his soul acted as both the energy cores as well as the consciousness that controlled the Sentinels. Since they had a soul, they were kinda like a living being and not a machine. The soul was the thing that was programmed to function in a certain way. It did not have codes or computer programming. It prevented anyone from hacking into them or controlling them like Ultron could.
Law could also see what these sentinels saw. It was kinda like Gaara's eye of sand. He could also telepathically comunicate with his sentinels from anywhere in the universe since they contained a part of his soul.
Coming to the sentinels, he only formed six of them. It was due to the lack of vibranium and energy core. There were originally seven artifacts but one god's artifact was so frightning that Law decided to just destroy it.
The Six Sentinels were made out of Vibranium. He just had enough to make seven of them so he was still left with some. The vibranium helped in absorbing damage and also prevented them from getting destroyed easily. They have anti magneto spell on it as well as a barrier spell which they can power through the energy core. Along with that, they have several other passive ruins inscribed on their surface which also was gave them a cool look.
They all have the mystique dna in them. It makes them change their body structure. They can turn their hands into energy blades or turn their shoulders into missile launchers. They were all a cheap version of the blue beetle suit but very effective.
He did not have Rogue's dna. He did not even know if she existet in this marvel universe so he could not add her powers to the sentinels which was to absorb the power of rhe opposing mutant. But that worked only against people with X genes which were not that many in this universe.
The threat lied in aliens in this marvel Universe.
Since they had a part of Law's soul, it gave them his swordsmanship and hand to hand combat ability. It did not give the sentinels any other of his powers like his devil fruit's or shinigami powers.
Law named the sentinels on the basis of the artifacts they each had. Each artifact also gave them the power that the avatar of the elder god would have received if they held the artifact with them.
Inferno was the first sentinel and as the name suggests it possesses the ability to fly and project blasts of heat.
Juggernaut was like Juggernaut possessing superhuman durability and strength.
Tempest, the third sentinel, possesses the ability to turn into wind, becoming intangible and able to fly and create powerful hurricanes and wind storms.
The deadliest of all sentinels was named
Decay who possessed a "touch of death" that caused organic objects to disintegrate. It was the marvel version of Shigaraki.
Bedlam was the telepath of the sentinels who possessed powerful psionic and mental control abilities.
Carnivore, the fifth sentinel had superhuman speed, coordination/fighting ability, and claws.
Conquest, the sixth and the last sentinel possessed enhanced fighting skills and can use wide assortment of weaponry including axe, spears and hammers.
Law looked at his six sentinels with pride. According to him, it was his greatest creation and will always be his greatest creations.
They were his babies. They were even better than he expected. These six sentinels had the ability to think because of his soul. That was not all, Law could take control of any sentinels any time with just his mind.
He had formed them to do his mercenary missions, protect his house and lab or gather materials he wanted or protect someone if he was away.
He also now have an opportunity to test them as he just got a call from Charles that he needed his help to free some mutants from William Stryker.
He was even going to pay for it. He was going to kill three stones by completing this mission.
- Check and evaluate his sentinel's performance
- Get rid of Stryker
-Earn money and get some adamantium that Stryker has
