15 Chapter 15: Mutants

After Law came back home, he had a lot to think about. But first he decided to take a shower and eat some desserts to make himself feel better.
He listened to some of his favourite 90s music and then his phone rang and it was Peter who asked him too many questions like Why did he miss the school? Whether he was fine or not? Does he need help with the classwork or the homework?
He was truly a helpful guy even without having the powers of spiderman.
He meditated a little to calm down his mind from all the killing. To be honest, He had seen too much of killing in both Urahara's and Law's memories so he wasn't stranger to killing someone. Without those memories, he might already have been traumatized from all the killing and might have puked his guts out when he killed all of those hydra men.
Law knew the world got a lot more complicated with the introduction of mutants but he was ready for it as with his powers right now, not many people could threaten him and not to mention when he reaches a higher level in the template of both Trafalgar Law and Kisuke Urahara.
He already had figured out that the Avengers timeline would be similar to the movies. That means It would start in 2009 when Tony Stark becomes Iron man. And in 2018, Thanos would snap his fingers wiping out half the population. Obviously Law wouldn't let that happen.
He also figured that the Fantastic four and Victor Von Doom would get their powers around the years 2005-06. As for Spiderman, he surmised that Parker would be getting his powers during this year.
Now he needed to find more about mutants and which Mutants were present in this universe.
Law did a deeper research about mutants this time. Last time he only checked whether there was a Essex corps and megacorp and there was neither of them here.
These organisations are terrifying as hell in the comics. This is the reason it was the first thing Law checked when searching for mutants after searching about magneto and the X- Men.
Essex Corps was an organisation run by Nathaniel Essex who is better known as Mr. Sinister. The one who makes mutant clones for fun and has hundreds of his own clowns. The organisation also had several other people who hated mutants.
The company made profit by creating and selling mutant super-soldiers, as well as the ones behind the creation of mutant children (mostly through the DNAs of other mutants).
They were also responsible for the food which made the X gene and mutants die or lose their abilities.
On the other hand Megacorp was an organisation with John Sublime as its director. Sublime is a mind controlling bacteria. He can perform mass mind control on multiple hosts at once. Being able to not only control an individual's mind and body but also manipulate their emotions as well as their personalities i.e. increase aggression, shifting mannerisms. This mind control didn't work on mutants so he feared that the mutants would kill him that's why he wanted to make mutants extinct.
He made normal humans develop hatred for the mutants which led to humans fearing them, haring them and experimenting on them.
Law did a deeper search for Charles Xavier but he still couldn't find anything about him.
He then searched for him on LinkedIn and Bingo he found about him.
Charles Xavier was just some professor right now with P.H.D in genetics who had studied at Oxford University. And from what Law has gathered he was 31 and lived with his foster sister, Raven aka Mystique.
Nothing on Erik Lehnsherr or better known as magneto.
There is a strip club in Las Vegas called hellfire club which was established in the late 1980s. Now we know where Sebastian Shaw is.
He also found information about Colonel Stryker, the man who most likely gave the mutants to Hydra.
X-men and Brotherhood of mutants have not been established yet. Hellfire Club has only Sebastian Shaw right now and his bunch of dogs.
He surmised that the Mutants timeline would follow the X man movies. Don't know which timeline as there is no Trask in this world and that means no sentinels.
The first major event would happen in a year or even sooner as Sebastian Shaw would want to create a world war and weaken humans to make Mutants the superior species on Earth. Charles would be called by CIA to stop him. Then he would meet Erik aka Magneto who wants his own revenge on Sebastian Shaw.
For the next week he researched more about X gene and scanned different individuals to see if they had one. He found that the X gene in this universe was very rare. Only one in one million people had an X gene. Obviously, he didn't go scanning one million individuals. He took a sample size of 1000 people and no one had an X gene in that. Next he might have raided the hospitals blood bank and checked blood samples from different individuals and only one of them had the X gene.
How many of them would awaken it was even shorter.
This led Law to believe that there will be less than 10000 mutants in the next 3 decades and even less thereafter. Most of the Mutants after that would be born if their parents are already mutants. The mutants that would be born without mutant parents would be reduced to less than 10 per year.
Law sighed in relief and thought how chaotic this world would be if there were millions of mutants like in the comics.
This number of 10,000 would still seem big but it is not that big.
If you count how many Mutants would be killed, experimented on, thrown in jail, who would suicide, the number comes down by a lot.
Since there was no Sublime, there would be less hate towards Mutants and the general public wouldn't easily know about them as they will be extremely rare.
Law realised that although he was strong enough to take care of all problems but he couldn't be everywhere and he needed to both up his game and gather a team of his own.
