Ashborn is training his usual with zeus and ares templates. To tell it's slow is an understatement. It's literally a bottleneck. His template progress on zeus and ares aren't increasing anymore. They stagenated, Zeus template at 6% and ares template at 10%.

He don't understand what is missing. He is trying his best to break his shackles with everything even going as far as sparring with zeus himself. Although he is unharmed but he can't win against zeus.

So he goes to earth and stay in battlefield like ares and started absorbing the bloodshed and war aspects. Unlike ares he decided to use this for a permanant increase of power and not use it for a temporary boost.

He has to say why ares enjoyed this feeling? It's addicting to absorb this power. Temporary boost from this power is very corrputive and addicting. If ares can digest this power for a long term increase then he may properly compete with Athena.

But he chose the temporary boost of power killing his potential, the temporary boost maybe powerful enough after a large scale war but the more you use it the more you'll have bottlenecks.

It's because this power contains resentment ofthe dead. If not properly digested that thing will attack your foundation and break it. This may also be one of the reasons that later ares can't fully heal his injuries and died at the hands of a rookie demi god like Diana.

Also the lightning strike ares received in the movie is zeus general level attack. A normal attack of Zeus killed Ares the god war. This is the biggest joke he heard. He certainly saw the endurance and durability of Ares.

The more he thought the more he is convinced Ares used his divinity wrongly along with the starvation of blood and war feast in temporary boost from awakened him to large extent. Studying this ashborn felt it's worth it to stay in olympus as he can learn the mistakes of ares and zeus to progress his templates.

But then he saw a ship landing in earth, precisely the location where Superman's fortress of solitude will lie later in future. Zeus immediately issued a decree asking Krypton for an answer why they decided to invade the territory under his protection.

Needless to say Krypton at this time is arrogant with the yellow sun boost. They didn't recognise their pitiful magic resistance and divine power that can harm them. Result as expected, zeus kick their butts so hard that they become honest and humble in mere days.

As for the doomsday, do they even dare to release like that. According to what he heard, that doomsday creature almost wiped out the krptonian race once. In the end they used the borrowed powers from all forces they find and wiped out doomsday.

But the loses are very huge. They won't dare to use doomsday against olympus especially after they know that the gods of apokalipse are already eying their planet. Yuga Khan and other gods of olympus are still alive.

Even trigon is loose at this time. The devil is walking among the humans like he pleases except some angel chased him away regularly. Zeus didn't take action against Lucifer like he knew he isn't an opponent of lucifer.

He is ignoring the angels and the god and goddess. At this time, its been a year since he arrived here. It's very wierd to be in this world. Another thing he observed is, as the template of ares and zeus progressing he felt the pressure on him by this world is loosening and he felt if he can complete one of them then he no longer need to depend on the cosmic seed for his survival here.
