60 [Chapter—60]
[ Another apology is in order, I'm sorry I haven't been uploading for close to 3 months, life decided I hadn't learnt my lesson and decided to burn my apartment building with all my stuff in it, luckily my sister was away and no one died but I lost my stockpile of advanced chapter's that I hadn't already uploaded on pat-reon so I kinda lost a lot of motivation, was depressed because I lost everything and have been drifting for a while now but yeah I'm back! And thank you to my pat-reon who even when I didn't upload still stood by me and the money they supported me with helped a lot, so again thank you!]
Standing Infront of a random building with music slightly echoing at its depths I opened the door with a bit of force breaking it at its hinges and walked in with my dual pistols ready.
But as I was walking inside a screen suddenly appeared Infront of me.

Description: Kill as many mutant gang members as you can and show the world that the Cape Killer is back and this time he doesn't discriminate.

[Quest: Takeover—
Description: Make the gang surrender to your rule and become the next gang leader after you do to the current leader what you see fit.
Reward: Minion Summoning Magic Skill]
' Huh?…what the fuck?, That again…was not something I programmed into the damn system, where the fuck did it even get those items for rewards?' I thought and my system A.I Lia answered.
[A.I: The quest system has been added after I have devoured most of the Shard you fed me and since the 'rewards' were stolen from the system you stole it is all free even though due to the hard coded rules you will have to actually do quests to gain but I can and will make it so you gain quests way easier then you probably should.]
" Wait…" I said before realising I was using my voice and stopped before communicating with the system in my mind.' I thought it would take longer to digest the shard I gave you.' I thought.
[A.I: Consuming the entirety of the shard will now take 6 days as it should but I have devoured most of the 'functions' of the system and are now 'eating' the raw code and essence that the system runs on and also using the leftover energy of the angel that created the system to further increase the digestion time.]
' Aha…cool, well whatever.' I thought as I walked up the stairs to the dark building I was in and immediately I found two guys walking down while chatting and aiming my pistols right at their heads I pulled the trigger just before they could react thus painting the walls behind them red, and now looking at the headless bodies that fell down the stairs besides me I couldn't help but smile while looking at my pistols.
'…..i really like gun fighting.' I decided with a smile as I continued walking up the stairs.
While walking I decided to instead of killing them I would…make sure they don't stand up instead.
So I walked in from floor to floor shooting anyone that moved and finally after 47 probably dead guys I entered the last floor and for a second as I looked at the dozen or so armed mutants I kinda regretted just walking in the front door.
' note to self…just kill them in their sleep, it's way less messy.' I thought before his behind a wall and raised up my gun and started pouring in mana inside it and saw as a ball of pure fire condensed at the top before I put out my hand and pulled the trigger.
And for a second everything went quiet before an explosion rocked the fuck out of the building.
*BOOOOOM*
"….fuck." I exclaimed as I shakily stood from the ground as that explosion tore right through the wall I was hiding behind and as stared at the destruction that I caused.
The wall was gone on multiple apartment rooms and there was blood, just a lot of blood on the walls which were scorched along with different body parts that weren't incinerated.
' …..' Looking at my pistol I blinked in suprise.
' I love guns….' I thought with a chuckle before I started walking forward towards where the leader of the gang lives and seeing as the fucking massacre quest isn't complete yet i haven't finished it.
And so skipping through the rubble I saw the room that the leader should be in, in total ruin.
Smiling at that I looked at the corner where I felt something and low and behold I saw a guy covered in beautiful purple light which seemed to be protecting him.
He was bleeding on many of his limbs though so I guess his Protection wasn't that good.
" Hello there…." I made my presence known and immediately the guy looked panicked as I saw the energy around him fluctuate and become just a bit stronger.
" P-ple-ase don't k'ill me!" He shouted in fear.
Smiling at that I thought of an idea.
" Sure…if you give me your gang and everything you own to me, I won't kill you." I said as I walked towards the scared shitless man Infront of me.
" Th-e g..gan-ng? su-sure man! T-take it!" He quickly shouted looking slightly hopeful and seeing the screen infront of me made me grin.

' Well well…' I thought as new knowledge on a concept of magic that utilised Summoning to 'create' loyal servants for the summoner for a price.
Shaking my thoughts off of that I looked at the gang leader.
" Oh thanks." I said with a grin before I raised my pistol and let out a torrent of bullets on the man.
His shield was good enough to absorb some kinetic force from the bullets but with the torrent of unending bullets to his body the shields were torn like butter.
And so here I was left with the dead remains of a dozen or so mutant gang members.
And thinking of the multiple dead remains I left in my stride up here I grinned.
'….time to plunder some abilities.' I thought with a grin before I walked towards the leader and used plunder–Ability and did the exact same thing to the other mutants who lay dead on the floor.
—5 Hours later.
And so five hours later I sat in a chair with a smile as I looked at all my spoils, I had plundered a lot of useless abilities from an ability that allowed a person to taste like chicken to an ability that made someone pee juice he had last.
And safe to say that I immediately recycled all those abilities and turned them into ability ingredients and after all of that thud is what I was left with.

This is what was left of my plunder as some mutants didn't even have any notable ability aside from their bodies Mutating but from those that did have an ability and i didn't like it I used Disassemble to gain the raw ingredients of their ability so I can edit an ability I had or create a new one from the ingredients themselves, so my ingredients rose.
