[quest: kill the spider.

looking at the screen and mostly just looking at the rewards i grinned as those would be useful.

" wh-what ha-have you done!" the black spider shouted looking around at all the bodies around me all bleeding out a damn of blood that now that i focused on the entire bank floor had blood on it and it ended where i stood making the scene all the terrifying.

looking at the other spider-people besides the black spider i found that ghost spider was shivering while holding onto her face mask in a way that showed that she was so disgusted she was on the verge of puking.

spider man on the other hand had his fists clenched and i could even feel the killing intent he focused on me making me chuckle which came off menacingly as i watched them flinch before they seemingly got over it and started walking towards me ready to fight.

" nah-ah-ah! not a single step." i said menacingly and with the voice changer inside my mask that became all the more easy, saying that i pulled the boy jericho i had grabbed by his jacket and just grabbed his neck and held it tightly making the spider's immediately start panicking but they all stopped and taking that moment i cast a full appraisal on the spider man who was a protagonist.

' huh? what does that mean he has no cheats?…wait is this one of those protagonists who gain their own powers without help from an outside influence like a system or artifacts?…well whatever and what is with that x-gene ability?' i thought as i thought of ways to kill this guy and to be honest there are many ways i could do that but i thought of making it…dramatical.

" just let him go…nobody has to get hurt here…" spider man said holding out his hands.

" hehehe…yeah maybe…but that's not how i work, you see spider man i don't really care who dies and who doesn't, all that i care about is that i get what i want and at the moment i want to kill someone…actually no…i need! to kill someone" i said making the spiders frown and i had to ask myself internally about how the fuck did they do that but decided against that.

" look, he doesn't have to get hurt okay….we can make a deal, you let go of the kid and you walk away…how is that?" black spider said earning a tilt from ghost spider.

" i like that idea, a lot actually." i said but inside i was already thinking otherwise.

" look! i don't know who you are but you have the nerve if you think you're getting out of here with the things you've done…now let go of the hostage and come with us nicely!." ghost spider said irritatingly.

" ghost! stop!" black spider said trying to urge his friend to not escalate the situation.

" who am i?…call me _____ little lady and just for you saying that i think we should renegotiate, i don't feel like letting this guy live anymore." i said with a bit of amusement laced into my voice.

" why you—!" before ghost spider could continue black spider held his hand towards her stopping her from what she was about to do or say.

" listen you don't need to kill anyone…you can take the money and just leave, we won't stop you." spider man finally spoke making me chuckle with the intent to unnerve them.

" okay then…" i said making them relax slightly before i turned my head and looked at the black spider.

" you, in the black spiderman suit…come and get him" i said as i held my hand which had jericho towards him making him tense up along with the others.

" look just—" black spider was about to speak but i simply started squeezing jericho's neck making him immediately start walking towards me in nervousness.

*tap* *tap*

black spider walked towards me and was infront of jericho and as he was about to grab him i immediately acted.

dropping jericho's body i used my bodies physical prowess and bolted towards black spider and it seems that his spider sense had warned him as he too was about to side step but with my stats being way above his i appeared infront of him in and instant and immediately as my hand touched him i used space magic and teleported him.

as soon as the man dissapeared the spiders started moving and seemingly started shouting towards me me i didn't catch any of that as i too dissapeared infront of them, leaving only ghost spider, spiderman and jericho.

—3rd pov.

"wh-what j-ju—where is he?!?" ghost spider standing at the exact same position that the black spider had dissapeared from started screaming but was suddenly brought out if her panic by spider man's hand on her shoulder.

"hey! hey! stop panicking! he must be close by! we need to find him!, let's fan out to cover more ground okay!" spider man said urgently after having found that jericho was still alive.

" o-okay." ghost spider said before she watched spider man run out of the bank building and webbed his way to the skies which prompted her to run along with him and web her way the other direction.

—mc pov[nathaniel]

standing in an alley way not that far from where the bank was i stared at the black spider who had taken a martial arts stand.

" what the fuck are you!? what tye fuck do you want!!" the black spider asked me prompting me to chuckle a bit as i took a couple steps towards him making him also take a couple steps but in his case they were back.

" hahaha…i told you didn't i?, i needed to kill someone…" i said making him tense up even more as his back hit the end of the alley.

" and sadly for you…that someone is you" immediately as i said that i ran towards him while i summoned my soul bound sword and slashed at the spider with moderate strength but was still able to cut a gash to his hand he had used to protect himself with.

after the slash i followed up my attack with a spinning kick using the momentum of my slash to and kicked him with maximum force at his unprotected chest and as i did i felt his chest cave in a bit as he was sent through the wall on the alleyway into another.

"argh-ghh-arhhh?!?" the black spider screamed at the top of his damaged lungs as he got into a fetal position just shivering while he coughed copious amounts of blood through his mask staining it red.

"oh it seems that i have done a number on you…" i said looking at the sorry state the spider was in and just got bored as i thought he'd atleast put on a fight.

shaking my head i walked up towards him and brought my sword down on his head and just stabbed through it till i reached the concrete floor and even then i stabbed through it.

"noooooooooo!!!!!"

i heard a shriek before i felt something behind me making me sidestep as some white string like rope shot past me and looking at who had done this i smiled looking at gwen in her ghost spider suit running towards me with all she got and as she got a few feet away from me and was about to throw a reckless punch i invoked my magic and i dissapeared and appeared a few metres behind her and watched her throw a punch to the air.

seeing me dissapear she didn't even turn or try to find me as she ran towards the lifeless body of the black spider and started sobbing before she looked behind her straight towards me.

"y-yo-you!!" she spat looking at me with so much killing intent inside i was almost impressed.

" don't look at me like that, i made you guys a deal…you let me leave and no one dies but you…you are the reason your friend is dead…you're the reason he is dead, gwen stacy." i said before i dissapeared, teleported back to my base.
