Looking at the last ability this body has I raised an eyebrow in suprise.
' did injecting my blood cause this? And it seems to be an inferior version of mine by it's ranking..' shrugging at that I looked back at the crawling Devin leaving a trail of his blood as he tried to slither to safety probably.
Walking towards him seemed to have alerted him as he suddenly turned his pale head towards me and then his eyes were filled with horror.
" Wait! No! The demon stopped you! What are you doing?!? This wasn't part of the deal…" He shouted looking at me as he crawled away from me with more vigor before leaning behind a tree looking at me with a scared shitless look plastered on his face.
" Yes we did have a deal…but my end of the deal was finished the moment I went back to hell…" I said before I raised my hand a black katana materialised in my hand.
This was a soul weopon that once housed the origin system that bonded with this body but now it is just a weopon once more with a bit of power behind it.
" Wa-what?…Y-you?? No! WAIT! This was-was'nt part of the deal!" he screamed once more.
" actually it was, I saved you from him didn't I? And in turn your body belongs to me doesn't it? So what's stopping me from simply ending you as you do belong to me right?…that was the deal Devin" I spoke in a quiet soft voice that this body used on a daily basis and pulled it off without a hitch, and I wanted to kill this guy because well he'd become a liability even if he was connected to my demon body after I completed the deal with him, I had initially wanted to use his body but this one will do nicely.
" B-But! I want to live! I can't die yet! I haven't made my harem of sexy marvel girls yet! Not now please not now!" He seemingly startingto mentally break started shouting at me making me sigh.
" Not in this life Devin…maybe if you're lucky enough you'll reincarnate again" I said with a sadistic smile as I raised my katana in a manner and position where his head will be cut clean off his shoulders.
" Rei-inca….no…You..you're also—" he didn't get to finish his sentence as I cut his head off his head.
As soon as his head hit the ground and the colour in his eyes faded a couple of screens appeared Infront of me.

Closing both screens I delve deep in this bodies memories again and found where he stayed.
Immediately I started walking away from the scene.
' maybe I should've used the mutate ability on him to see what would happen….but then again he is a protagonist and maybe due to my recklessness I would have gave him an ability so op it put me in danger of dying in this body…' shaking my head at those thoughts I started walking and never stopped for a second and an hour later I got inside my home which was coincidentally a freaking warehouse like my own in hell…but smaller and more decorated then what a warehouse should be and it was away from prying eyes as this was in the bad part of New York where mostly cast aside mutants started living after the mutant hunt a year ago by the government.
There was a lot of items scattered around from machine junk on one end with a worktable which this body used to mess around with in tinkering some gadgets before his system came to be.
But now that I'm here I could possibly create something with these using the knowledge i've gained in my demon body.
Shaking my head I walked towards a room that is accessible after climbing a set of stairs into a small room with a bed, a computer setup with wires neatly connected to it, this was my now mini super computer made from junk.
This body had a talent for tech even before he got enhanced and awakened his X-Gene.
Walking towards my bed I plopped on it before exhaling and a genuine smile laced my body.
" Finally…" i said before I stood once more and walked towards my mini super computer and started typing on it to look about what was with this universe and after an hour I found that not much was different from what I had seen from comics except some hero's I knew nothing about but I thought they were Reincarnators as some just screamed kinda op as they suddenly appeared and started heroing as there were many variants of spider man already and some knockoff versions of the avengers like an iron man in only black and a lot of hulks….like a lot.
" This world is weird as fuck…" I said out loud before plopping back to my bed and opened the protagonist search function and immediately I found many different tittles with each having a synopsis of a character but then by the corner of the screen a search function appeared and then a '?' icon of which I immediately clicked on.
[The search function shows all protagonists and their story types and due to this world housing hundreds of main characters just waiting to awaken or start their journey you can search for specific protagonists and the system will tell you their location and if they are far away from host the system will teleport you close to them.]
Smiling at the prospect of this system I started looking around the multiple protagonist story tittles.
