3 Chapter #2

"Hey, kid, is your mother Auntie Selena?" the man inquired, his voice carrying a friendly tone.

"Yeah, Doctor, is Mom done with work?" I replied, maintaining my cute and innocent facade.

"Yes, she is, sweetie. She was just wrapping up in the ER. Do you want us to wait with you?" Dr. Palmer asked, extending a warm gesture.

"Okay... are you a friend of Mom's?" I inquired, seeking confirmation as we settled into nearby seats.

Dr. Palmer gently lifted me onto her lap, and as she did, I caught a whiff of her pleasant fragrance. 'She smells nice... hehe.'

"Yes, I am, sweetie. What's your name?" she asked, pinching my cheeks playfully.

"I'm Lucas Spectre, but my friends call me Luke!" I answered with enthusiasm, my eyes darting towards the ER door, eagerly waiting for my mom to emerge.

'I really need to go...'

"Mom!" I shouted joyfully as I spotted her stepping out of the ER. I raced towards her, my excitement palpable. 'Finally... we need to leave.'

"Baby! How are you? Looks like you met Christine and Stephen, hmm? They're mommy's good friends. Were they nice to you?" she inquired, lifting me up.

"Yes, they were, Mom. We need to go now. I've got an emergency number sixty-nine!" I whispered hurriedly into her ear.

I'm excited I met Dr. Strange but I need to set my priorities straight right now, it's for my dignity! In my previous life, I have never shit in my pants when I was over 3 yrs old, I don't need to break that record now...and I think Strange and I will meet again considering that my mother works here' I thought seriously while calculating the time that it would take to get home.

Although I whispered it to her, it looks like Dr. Palmer still heard me, because she was looking at me curiously right now, wondering what kind of emergency was emergency sixty-nine.

"It's one of his emergency numbers that he made up in case he's too shy for the others to hear, emergency sixty-nine means that he needs to poop. Hahaha~, this child... seriously." my mom explained to Dr. Palmer, chuckling...

'Traitor'

"Mom," I grumbled in response.

"Fine, fine. Christine, dear, I have to leave now. Please keep an eye on Stephen, okay? Make sure to check his attitude towards his patients," my mother said to Christine with a slightly furrowed brow, directing her gaze at Dr. Strange, who responded with an irritated eye roll.

"Don't give me that look, Stephen, or I'll twist your ear right now, you troublesome child!" she scolded Dr. Strange, seemingly taking on a motherly role.

'Interesting,' I thought, observing the apprehensive Dr. Strange.

The future Sorcerer Supreme fears my mother... I wonder how I can exploit that in the future.

"Fine, sigh, I'm an adult now, Aunt Selena. I believe I can manage my attitude on my own. Thank you," Dr. Strange tiredly replied.

"Alright, make sure to go home, okay? Your sister already texted you about getting takeout. We're leaving now," my mom stated, heading towards the exit with me in tow.

'Sister?' I pondered, curious to know if Dr. Strange had a sister in the MCU.

..........

"Yeah, the game event will start next year. I guess the more funds, the better," I replied, grabbing a water glass for a drink.

"Son, shouldn't you be getting ready for school now? You know how hard it is to commute these days," my dad reminded me.

"Sigh, alright, Dad. By the way, I'll be late this evening. I have a science project to finish. I'll grab a burrito on my way home. Mwah, love you, Pa. Mwah, love you, Ma," I said, planting a quick kiss on their cheeks as I picked up my bag and made my way out.

"Be careful of where you're going Son, look left and right and always be vigilant on your surroundings, next thing you know you'd be impaled by a truck on the street these days, sigh~, anyways, good luck on your day!". Father said to me, making me flinch recollecting the cause of my death...

"Take care at school, alright? Stay safe!" my mom shouted as I opened the door to start my day.

"I know, I know. See you later!" I responded, leaving them with a smile on my face, ready to face the thrilling and perilous world.

"Hey, Pete! Wait up!"

............

[Third POV]

"Hey Pete! Wait up!"

A teen boy shouted as he ran towards his friend, whose name is Peter Benjamin Parker.

Peter Benjamin Parker is an odd boy. He was a shy kid, but highly intelligent. He is a science whiz, he developed an interest in science at a young age, and he grew up idolizing the acclaimed scientist Dr. Otto Octavius.

Peter was born around the year 1993 in Forest Hills, New York. Following the death of his parents, Peter was raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in Queens.

While in middle school, Peter became best friends with Mary Jane Watson and Lucas Spectre, forming a strong friendship with them due to their almost identical interests in science, particularly with Lucas and well...for Mary Jane Watson... Peter has a crush on her.

"Hey, Luke. What's up?" Peter greeted Lucas with a smile while fixing up his glasses.

"All good man, by the way, real quick, please tell me you have a reviewer for today's test in general physics, I kinda lost mine yesterday...hehe" Lucas replied while scratching the back of his head, acting ashamed.

"You can't understand your own writing again, can you?" Peter asked with a deadpan written on his face.

"Well.. yeah...you know that I'm left-handed right? According to the study, left-handed writers have a poor reputation for neat writing right? Please, man, just a few minutes," Lucas said as he grabbed Peter and shook him playfully.

"Fine, fine, seriously, do you have to shake me?" Peter whined as he fixed up his shirt and took a notebook from his bag.

"What are friends for, man? By the way, when are you going to ask MJ out? You've been into her forever, and I'm getting tired of dropping hints," Lucas teased, receiving the notebook from Peter and flipping it open to start reviewing.

"I'm not sure, man. I'm thinking of asking her to hang out after our class trip to Oscorp, but I'm afraid things might get awkward if she says no. We've been friends for so long," Peter admitted, wearing a pensive expression.

'You've been crushing on her since elementary school. Do you think she hasn't noticed?' Lucas thought, rolling his eyes.

'And even if you ask her out, I don't think you'll have the chance to do it. Not with the spider bite that awaits you. Hahaha,' Lucas mused to himself.

"Luke, did you even hear what I said? What do you thi-" Peter began, only to be interrupted by a feminine voice behind him.

"Hey Pete, Luke, whatcha doin?" Said the girl who is behind them.

Mary Jane Watson stood at 5'5", possessing a slim figure, bright green eyes, and stunning red hair. Born to Madeline and Philip Watson in New York City on August 19, 1993, Mary Jane exuded an exuberant and carefree personality. Peter had developed feelings for her from the moment they met, while Mary Jane harbored a deep interest in literature and aspired to become an investigative journalist.

"We're just fine, thank you for asking, Isabella," Lucas replied, attempting a joke.

"Haha, nice one, Ferb. So, what were you two discussing?" MJ inquired, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Oh, nothing much. Just going over the physics test we have today," Peter replied, sounding a tad nervous. He then added, "Right, Luke?"

"Yeah, yeah, I already finished reviewing Peter's notes," Lucas chimed in, handing over the notebook to MJ, who eagerly accepted it.

"You finished already? I gave it to you just three minutes ago," Peter remarked incredulously.

"Yeah, I remember all the formulas. I just forgot the names of those physicists we discussed yesterday... hahaha!" Lucas chuckled, shamelessly boasting about his memory as they continued walking toward their school, Midtown High School.
