62 War of the Gods! Intermission!

The Greek Gods were feeling the stupor over Athena's crippling loss.

" Damn, didn't think she'd lose. That Tsukuyomi's dangerous. I wonder what the other two can do." Ares spoke.

" This will be trickier than I first imagined. We have to acknowledge it. The Shinto are strong." Zeus stated. Lightning crackled around his body as he looked down at the poor state of his daughter.

" The next fight will begin soon, I promise, I'll return the favor in kind." Hercules spoke.

' I know you will son. But be careful. Bishamonten is known as one of the seven lucky gods. But he is also the one who dolls out punishment amongst his pantheon." Zeus explained.

" Don't worry father, leave it to Hercules.

" I know, father. Wish me luck." Hercules spoke. he then walked out of the chambers and headed towards the arena.

On the other side of the Arena in the Shinto chambers.

" YEAAAAH! Amazing job, Tsukuyomi. Way to put those Greeks in their place." Ibisu, of the seven lucky gods shouted.

" Yes, well done brother. I never doubted you for a moment." Susanoo spoke. he walked up to Tsukuyomi and healed his brothers bleeding arm.

" Thank you, brother. She was quite a powerful foe. She was able to see through everything.' Tsukuyomi explained.

" But you came out victorious, nevertheless. Well done, Tsukuyomi." Amaterasu said to her brother.

" Amaterasu, you should be careful." Tsukuyomi suddenly spoke.

" What do you mean?" She asked.

" Poseidon. When he entered the ring, everything changed. I felt his presence. He's powerful sister. Much more than I imagined. Had he been the one to fight me, I most certainly would have lost that battle." Tsukuyomi explained. " And you should be careful too, brother. If Poseidon is the bar, then Hades should be just as problematic. If you aren't careful, you could both end up dead." Tsukuyomi warned.

Susanoo and Amaterasu both took the warning of their brother to heart as they knew he wasn't one to joke around when it came to battle.

" Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there for now, it's your turn." Amaterasu stated as she turned towards the seven lucky gods. " Bishamonten. Your opponent is Hercules the God of strength, show them your might and crush their golden boy."

" Hm!" Bishamonten growled and turned and walked out of the room with his seven gods behind him.

Back to the Greek chambers, Poseidon was currently sitting with Athena as she rested from her match.

" Not going to come watch Hercules fight?" Diana asked.

" Yeah, just want to make sure I didn't miss any injuries. I can't fix everything, but I can help keep any scars off and wounds sealed." Poseidon replied.

" Hard to believe she lost." Diana spoke. " Ever since I was a little girl, all I've ever seen is Auntie Athena win. Yeah, there were times when I saw her struggle with Auntie Artemis, but never have I seen her this hurt. It's hard to see."

" I know, sweetheart. But this is what a battle between two gods looks like. This could be anyone of us lying here in this tournament." Poseidon told the girl.

" But not you right, papa?" Diana asked. " You won't lose right?"

Poseidon stood up and hugged the young woman.

" I can't promise you that, princess. I'm sorry. But I will do my best." Poseidon replied. The hugged in silence while the screams from the arena above rang out.

" Come on, let's go see Hercules do what he does best." Poseidon spoke.

Diana wiped her eyes and nodded, following her father out of the chamber while Athena rested.
