Metting of gods.

" Poseidon. The boy. He died." Hestia had been the one to tell Poseidon the news of the death of his son.

" I see... Then his is just a failure like his brothers.

Hestia was taken aback by his response. She knew he didn't care much for the ongoings on the mortal world. he hardly every intervened on the ocean for humans unless there was an enemy pantheon invading. But she didn't think he would gladly dismiss his own son's death.

" How could you be so cruel, Poseidon? The boy has accomplished much." Hestia spoke.

" Yet, he still failed when it counted." Poseidon replied. " He couldn't even awaken his godly heritage. Guess, I'll have to try again. Maybe later." Poseidon spoke.

" What about his children?" Hestia asked.

" I can't let stray god, roam loose." Poseidon replied.

" Poseidon. You can't be serious?" Hestia asked in disbelief.

Poseidon, rose from his chair in the seas and summoned one of his sons. The mighty Triton.

" You called father?" Triton asked.

" Yes, son. I have a task for you, I need completed." Poseidon spoke. his voice booming and full of power. The seas around triton churned until and image appeared in front of him. An image of a family. " Triton, my son. These three humans have committed an ultimate sin. And must be punished." Poseidon told the man.

" What did they do, father?" Triton asked. He was loyal to his father and would carry out his missions with utmost precision. But he would not blindly kill an innocent. Poseidon knew this.

" Leave, Hestia. I have many things to inform my son on. You may return to Olympus. Or wherever it is you came from." Poseidon spoke. He knew in his mind he could not lie, not in front of Hestia. Amongst all the gods on Mount Olympus, she was one of the honest ones. If not the most honest.

And Hestia, poor beautiful, brave and honest Hestia. She never believed her brothers or sisters could be as horrible as they really were.

' I can't let this happen. I can't stop, Triton from going. But I can hide them.'

Lady Hestia, news from the human you told us to watch." One of Hestia's subjects.

Hestia read the parchment in disbelief. Her eyes wide in shock. She then took the parchment and burned it in her hands. " No one must know of this. This stays between you and I." Hestia spoke.

" Bless you young Spartan. Bless you for your sacrifice." Hestia whispered. her heart ached for the people of Greece. They had lost many wonderful warriors during the battle at the Hot Gates and by the years end, they'd lose more.

" At the very least, I can try to keep your family out of harm's way. I make no guarantees. But I will do my best." Hestia spoke.
