The crew hadn't gathered all that often since the visit to Wakanda. After all, they all have their own matters to attend to. Li Yue himself went to Kamar-Taj to take charge of the place.
The news of Ancient One's passing had just proliferated throughout the magical world. As her replacement Sorcerer Supreme, Li Yue need to take on his duty!
Protecting Kamar-Taj was his primary responsibility, and he still had to wait here until a certain Strange person comes to his door!
Therefore, Li Yue spent most of his time in Kamar-Taj and gave the house that Tony bought for him to Annie! It was a house in Queens!

Obviously, they had no ill intent towards Kamar-Taj. Li Yue greeted these mages as the new Sorcerer Supreme, explained the situation, and then those mages would leave!
However, there were also people that cultivated black magic. While cultivating black magic in and of itself doesn't mean that they were bad people, but continuous use of black magic disturbs the practitioner's mind.
Therefore, most of the people who studied black magic were very unsociable. Most of them came and went as they pleased by themselves, and their personalities were rather strange. Quite a few of them had even used magic to harm ordinary people!

It was less than a month after Li Yue had arrived in Kamar-Taj. He had met other white mage guests that visited politely, but one morning, an uninvited guest had arrived!
The uninvited guest was wearing a black robe with a black hood obscuring his face! It was similar to Ancient One's original outfit, just in different color and thicker, heavier material!
The guest held a wooden staff the height of a person, slightly curved but looked very comfortable! Decorating the top of the staff was a gleaming white skull the size of a fist, made of material similar to white jade. It was so vivid and lifelike!
The eyes and nose of the skull were constantly emitting faint and otherworldly blue flames! As the person walked, he left behind a series of blue shadows!
Moreover, he had rudely barged into Kamar-Taj and broke down one of the ordinary wooden door!

"Who are you? Why did you barge into Kamar-Taj?"
When Li Yue arrived at the training ground, he saw a man dressed in a black robe. There was nothing visually wrong about the attire, but for some reason Li Yue felt restless when he saw it!
He could feel that this person was an evil being. If Li Yue's spiritual sense was to be visualized, it was as if the person was enveloped in pitch black magical aura, cold and evil!
"As expected, he is an enemy!"
Li Yue was convinced in his heart! But he still asked the guest, afraid that he was mistaken.
"Hahaha, is this the new Sorcerer Supreme? A brat who hasn't even grown a hair! Was Ancient One's brain broken? To think that she would let you inherit the title of Sorcerer Supreme! You haven't even practiced magic for more than three years!

"And now that Ancient One is dead, the title must naturally pass to the strongest mage. You, a neophyte, a newbie that barely practiced magic for a few years. You only obtained this title by luck.
"After I kill you, the title of the Sorcerer Supreme would belong to me!"
This black-robed man must be very old. Why else would he be so naggy?
