FIGHT!

{Savant POV}

Once I decided what I wanted to do, I walked into the building and disappeared after getting away from any eyes or camera. Reaching the space outside Earth, I scanned the incoming ships through my information perception to lock on to the strongest life signatures and energy readings.

To my surprise, Thanos had apparently sent all four of his generals to Earth. Although the heroes on Earth would have stopped these four eventually, the amount of destruction that would be caused by the rest of the aliens would be devastating.

Since I had already locked on to the four of them, I decided to take on each of them individually and end it as soon as possible. First, I chose Proxima Midnight, she was a physical type fighter as far as I can remember. She is supposed to have superhuman strength and durability.

It didn't even take me seconds to appear in front of Proxima Midnight. I might be subconsciously teleporting, now that I think of it. Anyway, as a seasoned fighter, Proxima instantly punched at me the moment I appeared.

I could tell that the punch was not enough to hurt me at all so I raised my palm and caught the punch. Unfortunately, I didn't think to diffuse the force of that punch, and my shirt and suit were shredded on my left hand.

I didn't want to waste too much time so I gave out a full-strength punch to Proxima while I used my matter manipulation powers to manipulate the shredded fabric into going back to the same state as it was before.

When my punch landed on Proxima's guts, it went straight through her and the shockwave sent out from the punch even destroyed the walls of the spaceship. I can probably destroy this ship with a solid punch.

While dusting the newly formed suit sleeve on my left hand, I couldn't help but admire the synergy of my two abilities. With information perception, I can record information on all things I perceive and with matter manipulation, I can use that information to create an exact copy of those things.

While musing, I looked at the devastation I caused. Proxima's torso was pulverized and only her smashed head on the broken wall and the still standing legs were proof that she ever existed. I didn't have time to look at the gore I caused so I sent a energy blast at Proxima's head and went to my next target immediately.

As a mage and a telepath, Ebony Maw had barriers around him that alerted him the moment I appeared. He teleported away just as I appeared in front of him. "Who are you?" At least Maw got to speak, Proxima died without even letting out a word.

"Say hello to Mistress Death for me." I whispered in Maw's ears while I clutched his neck from behind him and twisted it. For good measure, I also blasted Ebony Maw's head into a blue-gray mess of gore.

After I had appeared and Maw teleported away, I turned invisible while simultaneously creating a hard light clone of myself to stand in for me using light manipulation. If Maw wasn't so tense, he might've realized it and gone a few more rounds with me but I wasn't going to give him any extra time.

Having dealt with Maw, I went to my next target. She was probably the easiest target for me even though she would be a nightmare for most heroes to deal with. Supergiant whose name was misleading was not actually a giant.

Her abilities were mind control and mind reading. She could control almost any mind except for the especially strong telepaths. Appearing in Supergiant's ship, she was instantly alerted and turned around to look at me.

"Who are you?" She asked while mentally attacking me and backing away at the same time.

I let her attack pass and then she froze. I could hear the old Windows Shut Down tunes playing in the background as she froze in place. I could see from the large window in the front that we were quickly approaching Earth so I blasted her head too before disappearing.

My final target was Corvus Glaive. I knew he was supposed to be immortal but still killable but I didn't know how. That was why I kept him for last.

I didn't waste time with Corvus, my punch was already ready the moment I teleported in front of him. Props to him, he raised his weird sword to block my attack in that small instant. He was pushed to the wall while the sword had some cracks.

I could hear the gritting of his teeth in pain as Corvus lunged at me while swinging his sword. I raised one fist to block and punch at the sword while the other hand punched Corvus in the head. The outcome was as expected. My punch which was combined with an energy blast shattered the sword and burst open Corvus's head.

I waited for Corvus to get up like Deadpool usually does, even when headless but nothing happened. Not wanting to take any chances, I teleported out with whatever remained of Corvus and chucked him very hard toward the Sun.

By my calculations, he should hit the sun in around 5-7 days at most. A seven-day delivery service isn't too bad, is it?

After cleaning up any other beings with particularly high energy levels, I sat above the Earth's atmosphere, absorbing and processing all the information regarding the battles in real-time.

{3rd POV}

Captain America was anxiously looking at the screen where a massive fleet of spaceships could be seen approaching Earth. He had already dispatched heroes and mutants who could fly or could deal high damage from a distance.

When the ships got into their range, everyone fired their own attacks. Beams of different colors and sizes could be seen sailing in the dark space toward the spaceships.

It didn't take long for the first beam to hit its target and the spaceship's energy shield didn't seem to be powerful enough to stop the red energy blast which got through and blasted a giant hole on the ship. Similar scenes were appearing on many ships while some attacks did not do any damage to the shields.

"Everyone whose attacks did not get past the shield get back and prepare for ground combat. Others keep fighting. Professor X, you can try the thing you talked about earlier." Captain America gave orders while assessing the power of the ships.

Everyone followed the Captain's orders. Although he was out of his time, he commanded a great deal of respect among all the heroes even in the present. His heroics, in no small part thanks to the US propaganda machine, had been etched into history and every hero's mind.

Professor X was sitting in the Blackbird fighter, the iconic X-men jet. He and Jean were trying to mind-control the aliens to destroy each other's ships. And it really worked, some of the spaceships started firing at each other and almost a third of the spaceships were destroyed.

But unfortunately, the creatures had a hive mind and the Queen noticed the anomaly and shielded the minds of her soldiers from outside influence.

"These creatures seem to be controlled by a single mind. It detected us and is making it hard for us to send mental attacks. We can try to force our way in but I think it is more viable to find the one controlling these aliens." Professor X quickly gave his assessment.

He, Jean, and Emma Frost were the strongest telepaths on the planet but the hive mind was also a consciousness formed by the amalgamation of the population of billions of Chitauri civilization. Although they might be able to breach it, they did not have the time to waste on what-ifs.

The spaceships were now starting to be visible from Earth's surface and some small ships were already breaching the atmosphere. Slowly, panic was starting to set in as emergency alerts were being sent out all over the globe.

The battle continued as more and more aliens started pouring in while the heroes scrambled to destroy the spaceships. All kinds of experimental weapons were being taken out by the governments of different nations and used on the alien ships. Nukes were just the start.

Above Earth's atmosphere where nobody noticed, Savant was sitting in a meditative pose while his fingers flicked golden lights every second. If one followed the lights they would find that all of them hit the aliens that were going to the places where there was no one to fight them.

The aliens would be pierced through and die before turning invisible and flying away to an empty island in the Pacific. The battle was intense so nobody noticed that whenever a hero or a civilian was about to lose or get seriously hurt, they would be extremely lucky in some way or other.

For example, an alien was currently firing a laser gun at a man in a suit who was running away. The man suddenly tripped on nothing and fell face down, avoiding the laser. Before the next laser beam arrived, a star-spangled shield arrived in front of the man and blocked it.

"Are you okay? Get to an underground bunker, don't worry I'll stop them for you." Captain America reassured the man while blocking the attacks.

For all the mayhem that was being caused, if anyone were to sit down and count the casualties, they would find out that the numbers were very low. And if someone were to look closer at the life of those who died, they'd think that it was god's wrath upon them.

Savant was sure that some powerful beings like the Sages were aware of what he was doing because they were doing the same thing. Except, Savant had the time to review the lives of the people he was saving.

With his ability, he could see how each person lived their lives. And although he didn't exactly dive deep into their lives Savant could tell when a person was a psychopath or they were too far gone. But not everyone who was attacked or was in immediate danger was a monster and Savant wasn't trying to find and clean up all criminals.

So, when the final casualty count would come out later, it would shock everyone in the world.

The battle continued to rage for hours until the heroes in space were able to find and destroy the relay device through which the Queen controlled this unit. After that was just cleanup work. Governments and organizations were scrambling to get their hands on the alien technology in the name of cleanup.
