'Martha Parker

Beloved Mother and Sister.

The ground may have consumed her shell but she still lives through our memories.

Born: Feb 4 1970 - Died: Jan 6 2002.'

I read those words internally without any sort of emotion behind it and kept a sad facade on the outside.

It has been a day since I was discharged from the hospital and moved in with the Parkers, they were a jovial bunch.

The residence was on the outskirts, somewhere on Ingram Street, it was a two story house and the room they gave me was fairly decent, not too big, not too small.

I can't really complain because I used to live in a studio apartment and this was much better, they got a separate living room, a lawn and a garage.

Anyway, I stood quietly at the long path of the cemetery. Ben enveloped my sides with his right arm and covered Pete with his left while behind him Aunt May stood in a gown with her hands laid over the other, the black shade of her clothes perfectly matched with our suits.

I slowly knelt down and kept the bouquet of flowers I held on the grave, I raised up and took a step back.

May gently patted on my shoulder earning my attention, she reached down to my height and pulled me into a hug but I didn't embrace her back, I stood still taking in the warmth and concern in silence.

Eventually we walked out of the cemetery and reached Ben's car, the looming sadness around us slowly dissipated as the vehicle moved through the busy city streets and before I knew it, we were back home.

—----

In a few minutes, May prepared us a quick breakfast, destroying our rising hunger.

It was a Sunday morning so Peter didn't have school and Ben had taken a leave from his job.

I fell on the bed with a sigh and looked at the ceiling while my mind began to wander through the same thoughts I always had, mostly about Marvel, reminiscing about the characters and Arcs.

I really need to start my research on the timelines and plot points to get a good understanding about this universe and stuff.

God, only if it was that easy.

-[2 Months Later]-

Ok maybe it was easy and I had extremely underestimated the technological advancements of this universe.

First off, the Internet has grown to a point that things from the Gen-Z period are already underway in the early 2000s.

Mobile phones have already been switched to smart phones in most parts of the world.

Companies like Google, Youtube and such have become widely popular and many people are already trying to pursue streamers as a real career and I was sure it would only grow more in the future.

Uncle Ben had a PC in his room, which let me connect to the world web and I was able to get tons of information through that.

Going through timeline wise I obviously started with Captain America and like most universes it was Steve Rogers, who took up that mantle.

The browser had so many files about him, it was basically impossible for me to read all of them.

He was a war hero of WWll and it gave him an extremely high celebrity status, literally everything about him was on the net, from his favorite book to his family history and the soldiers he worked with, people were obsessed with him.

I was able to look up a few pictures of Steve during his war days and he always had his star painted shield on his back, which checked with the existence of Wakanda.

Wakanda was a very reserve country, there was not much about them on the net and I didn't pry any further than I needed. The last thing I wanted was a visit from Dora Milaje because I tried to look up their country on the web.

Just like Wakanda I found a few countries that didn't exist in my world, Latveria, Sokovia, Symkaria, honestly after a while I wasn't even surprised anymore.

These things were easy, Mutants were the tricky part, it was extremely hard to find anything about them, it almost felt like the government was taking down information about them and was trying to keep their existence under the wraps.

The people obviously knew about Mutants but act like they are nothing more than an urban legend at best.

I did manage to find a couple sites that had yet to be canceled and I got a hint about Magento, there was even a video, the contents were mostly censored, it was a speech by Raven or better known as Mystique. I came to a conclusion that either Future-Past happened or something similar.

While I researched about Mutants, most of the geeks and conspiracists I came across pointed at two things called a Mystery Pyramid and The Phoenix.

The first was a world known phenomenon about a Pyramid that appeared in the middle of Cairo with a nude giant man guarding it.

I'm sure, It was an alternate version of Apocalypse with the same conclusion, the X-Man defeated him but I doubt whether En-Sabah-Nur is really dead, that guy could always resurrect in the comics, one way or another, definitely got to keep an eye on him.

The Phoenix as the name suggested was about Jean Grey, even though her name was never mentioned in any sites, I'm sure of it because it followed the order of the events from the movie.

I'm certain Jean died, very sad for Scott but anyway I was happy, I don't have to worry about Dark Phoniex, that's a big fucking plus.

Other than these I stumbled upon quite small ones, like Stark industries, Baxter Building, Oscorp, Pym Tech, Rand Inc, they all exist.

This is everything I found overall, well maybe I missed about the Parkers.

Aunt May is a homemaker and Uncle Ben is a cop or used to be one before he shifted to the forensic department, I can clearly see where his sense of righteousness and responsibility came from.

After the first month Ben suggested that I join school with Peter but I rejected immediately.

School was a huge waste of my time, I still remember all my highschool stuff and joining elementary felt like a bit of a step down.

They did try to force me for a while but after I solved a few mid school level problems, they decided to let me have a term and enter middle school directly.

"I hate school." I grumbled with a sigh, looking at the noisy classroom.

"You will get used to it." Peter shrugged.

"I pray not."

"H-Hey." A stutter made us turn towards a pettiet kid.

He had short black hair, his cheeks were slightly blushed and it was clear he was having trouble speaking up.

"Hey." I hummed without caring much.

"C-Can I take this seat?" He asked pointing at the empty chair to my left.

"Sure." I shrugged.

I locked my eyes with his figure until he settled down and just as he took the seat, Peter stood and introduced himself.

"Hey, I'm Peter, Peter Parker."

"I'm Harry-I mean Harold Osborn but you can call me Harry."
