9 Chapter 9

- A couples years back -

The time before Isaiah was born 4 gods in a different realm are playing cards, 1 god lost by cheating, 1 god lost by manipulation, 1 goddess lost by future-sight, and 1 god won.

All 3 gods couldn't accept that they have lost the game of fortune, as all 3 have placed their most precious treasure on the table, thinking it would be easy to win with their ability however at the end, all with bad intentions has failed.

The winner proposed another card game which involves humans as their familiar, one must share their essence to their familiar and the bet would be 1/10 of their divinity, the winner saw the 3 other gods faces lit up with impish glee right after

As the first winner this god placed the powers he had won and a part of his powers as well to an artificial assistant that will soon be fused with his familiar as soon as he found one, same was being done with the 3 other gods but in their case only a part of their essence has been placed in their own artificial assistant.

A few hours before Isaiah was born the god who won the first game have placed his assistant in the womb and as soon as the assistant was merged with Isaiah's soul their universe has started to split from the multiverse. As for the other gods started choosing their familiars as well the universe got separated completely and has alarmed a few beings whose connected with the multiverse

All familiar have now been born and the start of the unforeseen events will soon take place

- Back to Present -

- Slime Field -

Oh my gawd, the place looks amazing, its nothing like your typical pc graphics. This, damn I'm speechless, now being here, I can never tell if this map is really part of the old ragnarok online I've played in the pc or its a newer version after I died

As I was ingraining the beauty and realism of the environment, I got surprised as soon as a very deep voice spoke to me from behind and accidentally activating the strength ability and by reflex I slapped who ever was behind me and a familiar pop-up appeared

Isaiah: the proficiency needed to level up this one far surpasses my first two abilities

Just by leveling up the Strength ability, I felt like the muscle in my entire body got compressed more, I need to experiment with this while I'm here

Isaiah: System what would I do with this? Another book just like my binder but this one is called album

Isaiah: I did as the System told me and my binder gained another page where all the monster cards are now kept

Isaiah: this kept getting better and better

I started hunting "poring's" as I don't have any weapon at the moment to use (the medallion is only for show for now since I could not make it return to its original state without spirit energy/reiatsu) I thought of using an air flick that I have practiced a lot of times before and the result was magnificent but the mana gained per each poring killed is very minuscule

Took me 10 kills to even reach 1 mana point and I have paid 10 mana to enter, I'm just hoping I would be able to profit for this trial dungeon at least

The only good thing is, after a few seconds I killed a "Poring" monster seems to respawn to where they originally where although this looks like a good thing, there is this foreboding feeling that if I kept doing this something bad might happen, so instead of staying at one place and finding out what may come after, I went for a stroll somewhere else in the field

Now that I started exploring the slime field, I noticed that at different part of the field other slimes roam around, so far every group has their own bearded slime, it might be a variant of the one I killed a few moments ago.

A while ago I tried to use my time ability to change myself but doesn't work and I got a message from system

Hunting slime is really a bliss so far I have hunted 5 different Elder slimes and their entourage, the easiest one so fat was this slime that looks a lot like a bomb with a fuse of top of their head. As soon as I hit with enough force the bearded kind in the group, it explodes and it dies alongside with its entourage, as the explosion was wide enough to kill monsters around it

Luckily I asked system for other ways to gain mana so far I have profited 40 mana so I tried hunting more of the poporing groups, marine groups and bombring groups as those 3 groups gave twice the amount of a poring group.

Until now I have not used the strength ability right after activating it at the first time, as the air flick is enough.

Now as I killed the 10th Elder Poporing and its entourage of 10 normal poporing, the space around where they have died a green substance started to form and after a minute a humongous bearded green slime with a crown on top of its head appeared, surveying the place and summoned 10 elders of its kind to investigate the massacre.

This King Poporing does speak human language just like the first elder I killed, the king ordered his guards to scatter and kill anything that is suspicious

As every one of the kings guard left their king right in the open, I tried to place (3x) the amount of force in the air flick and as soon it was released, my body I'm inhabiting started to feel weak and the king poporing's body didn't popped but instead the air flick (x3) only managed to make a fist hole in its body, then the weakness I felt left me unguarded and the the last thing I saw before I died was the king's glare towards my location and saw a system message after that
