5 Chapter - 005

"A large number of criminals are coming forth confessing for their crimes and the common thing with them all is their encounter with a masked vigilante with the name of Moon Knight. The public view is divided on their new hero of whether he is good or bad as though the crime rate has decreased, and the number of people going to the hospital has increased. The police have demanded the surrender of Moon Knight on the charges of violence but there has been a drawback from the public questioning the police's competence as a vigilante has been shown doing their job better than them."

Switching off the TV, I sit down on my chair and turn towards my agents. "Well?"

"Sir we have tried to locate him but the pattern of his appearance is random. There have been more sightings of him in Hell's Kitchen but all our information from that place gets intercepted by someone. We have very little contact there. But from other places, we have managed to some information on him." The agent replies and passes a file to me.

I nod and ask him to continue while checking the file.

"We don't know about his identity but from what we managed to find out is that aside from flight and combat skills, he can also produce different kinds of weapons. We aren't sure but based on his fights, these weapons are limited to cold weapons. We also found that most of his attacks take place at night, while some do take place in the morning, so we can say for sure that he is stronger at night than in the morning which also confirms his name - Moon Knight. He also seems proficient in stealth as we completely lose track of him after a while."

I get up from my seat and stand by the window. "You can go." As I watch the agents leave, I remember the initiative which is still in its initial stages, and seeing that man fighting has me if I should add him to it. His brutality will be needed if there was another alien invasion, one which will be more violent than the previous one. But even if I want to, I don't even know where to contact him from. That mot**rf*ker doesn't even wait for my agents to get in touch and just disappears.

Sighing I return to my seat and start looking through all these fights of him we have captured. As I look through them, I quickly something. "MARIA!" I yell. Maria Hill walks in and looks toward me. I call her forward and ask her to give her opinion about the thing I noticed.

Ten Minutes later, the priority to add this Moon Knight guy to the Avengers Initiative has increased from zero to 100 percent. The rate at which he is learning to fight in hand combat is amazing and the sooner, I bring him to fold the better as there are many chances of him going full crazy in his thirst to stop crime.

Across the globe, in an ancient temple located in Kathmandu, Nepal, a bald woman wearing ancient robes was sitting while holding an eye-shaped object. She was the current sorcerer supreme of Earth tasked to protect it from mystical threats.

A sigh escaped my mouth again looking at the broken timelines I see while using the Eye of Agomoto. It had been the same ever since the emergence of Moon Knight. Multiple timelines are seen instead of a single destined path which I had been maintaining for so long.

I had wanted to deal with the anomaly but whenever I thought about it, it was as if the Vishanti themself are telling me to leave him alone. Well, they are actually. I had ignored the feeling once and had been directly sent to the mirror dimension with the word 'STOP' ringing in my ears constantly.

From then on, I constantly kept my eye on him but strangely the time when he makes his appearance or the time when he disappears, I can't keep my senses on him which makes it difficult for me to find out his identity. It is like some higher intervenes during those times and as they say, you can't spy on those higher than you.

Closing the Eye of Agomoto, I again try to feel his presence but do not find him which means he is busy living his other life. Standing up, I open up a portal towards a certain medical school where the future Sorcerer Supreme is studying to become a doctor. Seeing all going well, I return to Kamar-Taj.

In a secret underground room, an Asian woman was sitting while angrily staring at the man kneeling in front of her. She had just been told many of her men had been traumatized from the brutal beating they received from the masked man and decided to flee.

Their situation was still better than the rival drug lords and gang lords as at least her men did not to the police and create trouble for her. But she was still livid at what most of the men leaving had to say.

"It's better to be able to live longer completely than to stay crippled while searching for immortality."

These words denied everything she had done for centuries. She wanted to send her men to kill them all but they had already run far away. So she shifted her anger toward the source of her problems.

"Keep all the men on the lookout for the masked man and when sited, rush towards him and kill him." She orders the ninja in front of her but quickly notices the hesitation in his eyes. "What?" She demanded.

The ninja hesitated to speak but upon looking at Madame Gao's stern eye, he nonetheless spoke.

"The men are afraid to fight him. They say it would have been better to be killed while fighting or be able to escape with lighter injuries but all those who fight him lay half-dead which is spreading fear among them."

His words leave Madame Gao stunned but her anger returns, "Choose five among the men most afraid to fight him and beat them half to death in front of everyone. If their fear for him doesn't lessen, then choose five more and do the same. I want him dead. No one messes with me. No one messes with the Hand." Madame Gao spoke in Mandarin to the ninja who quickly nodded and disappeared.

Just wanted to show some people's reactions to MC's arrival. Let me know if their portrayal was correct.

Also for people wondering about Ancient One not being able to find MC. I will explain it here.

So as basically, MC's power comes from a god, when he transforms into Moon Knight or back, all that power concentrates into a single point before spreading into his body which makes his energy signature similar to Khonshu or god should I say during that time. If Khonshu was present, the ancient one would not even be able to peep but as only his power is present,( that too appears less when it completely spreads in MCs body) the ancient one was able to spy on him. Do note that if Odin or some other god decides to spy on MC, it is possible for them to even discover his identity.

The reason for Vishanti's interference, you can say they can feel a higher form of power involved( which is just God's energy when he reincarnated Mc) so they do not want to mess with him. You can also say that this is plot armor I gave the MC because I do not like when MCs in other fiction either directly go to the ancient one or she comes to meet him. I will let Strange be the one he meets and befriends and learn some sealing techniques from as it was one of the power of Mon Knight to be able to seal entities.
