2 2: The Vampire System
Somewhere in an alternate universe.
inside a small house near the suburbs, a young man with slightly long black hair could be seen laying down uncomfortably on a bed.
beads of sweat fell on his pale face as it scrunched up in discomfort every few seconds.
The bright moonlight which shone through the night sky and his small window was the only form of lighting in this small room.
"ugh"
A small groan escaped the young man's lips as he slowly struggled to open his eyes.
"where- where am I?" Stephan asked himself in confusion, the faint flashbacks of the bloody scene which he had created were the only thing he could remember, apart from his identity.
how did he end up here?
Stephan looked at the scene around him, he was in a small room, a room which was similar to that of any early 2000s teenagers room.
At this thought, a ringing sound entered Stephan's head along with a visible holographic screen that appeared.
[Ding!
Host, you are currently in the world of Marvel's cinematic universe] A robotic female voice was heard as the screen appeared, a very soothing voice.
"Marvel world?" Stephan was very confused, but as he looked at the screen, he felt even more confused.
Did committing murder turn him crazy?
It was at this moment that a bunch of memories started entering his head, memories of the previous owner of the body which he had previously taken over.
The memories came in fluidly, giving Stephan enough time to look through them and process them and think through everything.
"I am in another world," Stephan said after a while of looking through his newfound memories, coincidentally, the owner of the body which he had taken over had the same name as him.
that was too much of a coincidence.
[Yes host, you are in a whole different dimension, and the vampire System is here to help you through your journey in this world] The mechanical voice sounded out once again.
Stephan came to his senses after a short while, as a fan of reading novels, comics, fanfictions, and other similar things, he had a basic idea of his current situation.
although he couldn't believe it, he had no choice but to believe it, everything was too real.
"I'm in the Marvel world? what the fuck?" Stephan panicked for a second till he remembered the System's words once again, it was here to help him.
Stephan was a fan of the Marvel cinematic universe, whether it was the comics, shows, or movies, he loved them all, being in such a world with a system was a fortune.
but...
he couldn't depend too much on this system, if he wanted to survive, he would have to think smart.
"so... system, how will you help me in this new world?" Stephan asked as he sat up to the side of the bed, his back facing the wall as he kicked the blanket away calmly.
[Ding!
As a vampire System, the host will first be turned into a vampire, the more blood of powerful enemies you devour the stronger you get, the system comes with random missions, a status screen, an infinite inventory, etc.]
The system spoke slowly as it explained to Stephan all the functions of the system and many more.
for example, Although Stephan would soon be turned into a vampire, he wouldn't just be any regular vampire.
For one, The sun wouldn't affect him if he were to be out during the day, and his strength would gain a slight increase during the night-time.
for two, the more blood he devours, the stronger he becomes, although Stephan could feed on human blood, it wouldn't be as useful to him as the blood of powerful creatures and beings.
Stephan sat there as he contemplated his situation, he had no choice but to have the system turn him into a vampire, if he didn't allow it then he would die immediately.
"I think I'm ready, system, you can turn me into a vampire" Stephan said with a sigh, perhaps this was the best for his current situation.
[Ding!

[Altering DNA and body]
Stephan's eyes rolled back instantly as he heard the sound of the system's voice.
[Host, bear with the pain, hold onto your consciousness, this will hurt a lot] The system's voice sounded out once again.
"YOU TELL ME THAT NOW?" Stephan felt like crying, his whole body felt like it was being assaulted by thousands upon thousands of metallic needles, and no part of his body was spared at all.
his face which was already slightly pale started to sweat even more, Stephan had no choice but to clench onto the side of the bed with a firm grip and he held himself back from screaming in pain.
"F*CK" Stephan cursed as the pain seemed to get worse as time went by, he couldn't see it but all the veins in his head had appeared and his eyes turned a bloody red color, his fingernails grew longer, sharper and stronger.
it didn't stop there, his previously slightly long black hair also grew to an even longer length, and vampiric fangs could be seen disturbingly protruding from his teeth before they stopped at a good length.
this whole transformation came with nothing but a tyrannical pain that felt worse than torture, but Stephan pushed through it at the thought of making it out of this night alive.
Stephan who previously looked like a handsome teenager now looked like a demonic vampire with a very noble aura.
his skin was pale, yet his face looked like it was perfectly carved by the hand of god.
Stephan looked down at his sharp nails, his whole vision clouded in nothing but a crimson color.
"I'm a vampire... now" Stephan slowly said as his tongue softly moved across the fangs in his teeth.
but as he did this, his mind was assaulted by a splitting pain.
thud!
thud!
thud!
Stephan felt an insatiable desire for blood overtake his mind and body, he couldn't control himself anymore as he slowly sat up.
Every living thing with blood flowing through its body could be sensed by him, there were two other figures in the house, but from the memories of the previous "Stephan" He knew that they were his new family members, Stephan could still control himself for now, so he wouldn't go sucking their blood and killing them in the process.
