131 Author's Note

Finally after a year of writing. Marvel: Meditation System is over.

I want to thank all of you who stuck with me till the end. Without your support, I would have Definitely dropped this halfway through. It got really boring for me.

I started this idea when I was drunk as hell. I wanted to try my luck at writing. So I said to myself gotta start somewhere. At most I expected was a couple of hundred followers and about 20K views.

I had no proper plotline written. I just went with the flow. Which was very difficult because I used a randomizer to make things more interesting.

The man was that a bad idea. A Really Bad Idea. Had to rewrite the plotline( as basic as it was) 5 times. I do NOT recommend anyone to really randomize important things like this If they write their own fics.

But really. I was blown out of my mind when I saw the first 100K views. I might have shed a tear or two. Don't remember. I know my eyes are a bit watery now. Damn onion ninjas.

Meditation System has 164 000+(final chap) Words and 130 Chapters

We are ending this fic with 4.7M Views. and 15.3K Follows.

Now what I think of my fic.

~Plot:

It was interesting at the start. Started out solid, Went to Kamar Taj. Made a good Nen Ability. All in all it was solid.

But then I went and did that stupid Hydra Mision from the CEO. I buffed him too much. I tried nerfing him. His Real Life Plot Armor saved his ass. And I hate my MC for it xD

I think the plot took a dive then. It went from Surviving in MCU. To Messing around in MCU.

Missed a lot of plot points. Like the Inhumans, The Hand, The Mandarin.

The ending to a lot of time to write. I didn't want to rush it and make it stupid. Especially the Dormammu fight. I had no idea how to make that work. I'm kinda happy with that. Even if I know it's bad.

The Thanos fight was okey~ish. Because If I wanted Thanos to stand up against my guy I had to buff him a lot. But then I realized that I don't really have to. My MC was stronger. So why even bother making a big deal out of it? Thanos is a scrub compared to the Celestials. No need to make him as the biggest Villain/Antagonist in the fic.

~Romance:

I did force it with Nat now that I reread that part. But as a beginner that was the best I could have done at the time. I do like that they stayed together throughout the fic. And she wasn't just another mindless member of the usual MC Harem types.

~ The Meditation System

It was useful at the start. But as time went on it quickly turned obsolete. The Meditation part. I am not happy with that. I tried to fix it but I did a pretty terrible job with it. That was a..FAILURE ( Steven He voice. Or as many of you know him as 'Emotional Damage' Guy)

~MC's Luck.

I am honestly speechless at his bullshit luck. I mean I had to nerf him SO MANY TIMES. Just to make it work. Dude got the Arc. I'm like fine. You got it fair and square. But then he rolls the Kybui. I was like hell nah. I gave him Shukaku. Then he got Infinity from 7 Sins. I honestly gave up at that point.

Imagine that. My own MC trolls me.

~ Rating

Anyway I would rate this fic with a solid 3. Maybe a 3.5

Maybe I'm being to harsh on myself or maybe not harsh enough. But as an author I always want to do better. I might rewrite this fic in a year or two. Like, make it MCU/ X-Men. with a Gacha system. Honestly, the randomizer is what makes this fic fun. And having more Characters will be better for dialogues. They were kinda boring. Well Tony was fun. The other Avengers not so much.

Actually scratch that. The Dialogues were shit.
