65 Chapter 65: Time of Flow

Jack felt lucky that the first person he met after returning to Earth was a kind girl.

Despite being unable to move, Jack could clearly sense everything happening outside and knew that this strange girl had rescued him from the escape pod before anyone else arrived.

Although she talked a lot, Jack strangely enjoyed this moment, especially when she carried him on her back, and he even felt a sense of pity in his heart. Although being carried by a girl was a bit embarrassing.

Listening to the girl's few mutterings, Jack began to understand this girl. She was an orphan whose parents died in the war six years ago, she hated Stark, and she had a sixteen-year-old brother named Pietro, who was her only family.

She also enjoys watching sitcoms, especially The Dick Van Dyke Show, which is her favorite. Her biggest wish is for war to stay far away from her hometown and to have a real birthday cake on her next birthday instead of having to draw one herself.

And, of course, there's the last thing she often talks about, which surprises Jack.

'She wants to kill Tony Stark.'

'Wait a minute! Tony Stark?

Isn't he Howard's son? Howard hadn't even gotten married when he left. Although he did have a girlfriend, it wasn't Maria who would later become his wife.

If he remembered correctly, Tony Stark was born in 1969, which means that now it is at least after 1969, and Tony Stark should have grown up and taken over the company, but the exact year is still uncertain.

After assuming for a while, Jack fell into deep thinking.

'How long had he been gone?'

In his memory, only half a year had passed, but now it seemed like several decades had gone by in an instant.

'What was going on?'

The more Jack thought about it, the more confused he became.

At that moment, the girl muttered something again.

"I wonder if Pietro has come back. If he sees me bringing a man back, he'll probably go crazy."

"Especially if he's hotter than him."

On this point, Jack agrees.

Jack silently praised the girl in his heart. When it came to the word"hot," he had always been the first to agree.

Wait a minute!!

What did she just say?

Pietro?!

Jack's heart skipped a beat, sensing that something was not simple.

He integrated the information he had just received into his mind.

She Hates Tony Stark

She loved watching sitcoms.

Her parents died in a war, and she had a brother.

Her brother's name was Pietro.

Jack seemed to have encountered the legendary Witch.

However, it could not be confirmed yet, as Stark's weapons killed so many people, and it might not be her.

"Crunch, crunch, crunch!

Just then, the sound of footsteps on fallen leaves could be heard ahead of them. Before Jack could sense it, a sentence from ahead confirmed his thoughts.

"Wanda, are you okay?"

Jack couldn't help but feel excited.

He never expected to meet the Legendary Scarlet Witch just as he returned to Earth and even be saved by her.

Although she only appeared in five Marvel movies, her popularity is not inferior to Black Widow and even surpasses her in some ways.

In his previous life, he couldn't count how many times he drooled over Wanda on the movie screen.

She's a powerhouse who can snap her fingers and crush Thanos. If he married her, he wouldn't have to worry about being bullied by anyone for the rest of his life.

As he fantasized about a bright future in his mind, he secretly guessed that the current timeline shouldn't be too late, and he had enough time to win over Wanda.

In the original movie, it was mentioned that Wanda and Pietro's parents were killed by a bomb when they were ten years old, and he had looked up that Wanda was born in 1989 in the movies, which means she became an orphan in 1999.

It's been six years since then, so it should be 2005 now.

The point is, how did he somehow come in 2005

Jack thought of this possibility.

In Thor: Ragnarok. Grandmaster seems to have mentioned that the time flow of Sakaar is different from other planets, and the arrival of Thor, who was thrown with Loki into Bifrost at the same time, was a few weeks behind.

"Who is he?" Pietro approached and glanced at Jack on Wanda's back, frowning his eyebrows.

"Um...he..."

Wanda was speechless for a moment, not knowing what to say. Should she say that she brought him back from a UFO?

No, that would probably make them think she was crazy.

"I must remind you, Wanda, that our supplies are running low. If you bring one more person back, our food will run out soon," Pietro warned.

"I don't eat much, really, just a little!" Wanda pleaded.

In his mind, He was really afraid that Wanda would abandon him. Who knows when they will be lucky enough to meet again.

"But we can't just leave him in the forest," Wanda said

"And we're still at war," Pietro added. "You know that we can't afford to take care of a stranger, especially one who's sick."

He patted Jack, but there was no response, and his face was pale. Pietro was even more against the idea now.

They could barely take care of themselves, let alone someone else they didn't know. Sokovia wasn't always in a state of war, and during peaceful times, they worked hard to earn money to support themselves.

Now they had an extra person to take care of, and he was sick. It was only natural for Pietro to refuse.

Short on money? That's easy to solve!

Hearing this, Jack felt a glimmer of hope. He wouldn't know what to do if it was any other problem, but being short on money, he had a solution.

"But..."

Wanda was about to say something when she felt something roll off her shoulder, and then her foot was hit by something. Instinctively, she looked down and saw a small blue gem about the size of her pinky nail lying at her feet.

"Oh my god!"

Pietro also saw this and quickly picked it up, seemingly unable to believe it. He wiped it off and held it up to the sunlight.

Although he didn't know how to evaluate gems, his instincts told him that it was real.

He glanced at Jack, his expression filled with surprise.

This was great news, as selling this gem could greatly improve their lives.

However, a small white hand snatched the gem away before he could enjoy this thought for more than a few seconds.

"No! This can't be sold!" Wanda tightly grasped the gem, eyeing Pietro warily. "This belongs to him, not us! We can't sell it! Forget about it!"

"Are you kidding me?!" Pietro's face showed dissatisfaction. "If you want to save him, you have to spend money. Plus, we don't have much food left now. Selling this gem can not only save him but also save ourselves! It's a win-win situation!"

Upon hearing this, Wanda hesitated for a moment. It was true that selling the gem could improve their lives and provide better aid to the person in need.

However, despite the brief pause, she firmly opposed the idea, saying, "No, it's not happening!"

Pietro was speechless. He knew his sister's personality very well and knew that she would not change her mind. So he didn't waste any more words.

He looked at Wanda's hand with a sad and resentful expression as if he saw a pile of green banknotes slipping away from him.
