Chapter 49: Final Battle (3)

Facing the approaching Ares, Jack remained calm because he knew he had already won when he chose to release the space's stone energy within him.

"Let's end this," he said, casually stretching out his hand and pointing at Ares from afar.

Suddenly, Ares, who was rapidly approaching, stopped in his tracks. Or rather, he was still moving, but the ground beneath his feet was moving in the opposite direction, like a treadmill, causing him to stay in the same spot.

Ares was clearly aware of this and became furious, stomping his foot and leaping more than ten meters into the air, attempting to crash into Jack.

The emotions of the audience were a back again. They thought the match was over due to the sudden turn of events, but in just a few seconds, another gladiator had jumped back into the arena!

The surprise came too quickly, and many people didn't react quickly.

"Oh no!" Jack looked at the front with a bitter face, realizing he had overlooked something.

He thought the wormhole would transport Ares to outer space or another planet, but he forgot this was Sakaar.

The space here is very special; the only way to leave or enter is through a wormhole.

However, he clearly overestimated his ability to manipulate the cosmic cube's energy, as he was not capable of opening a wormhole that would allow him to leave Sakaar.

He could have easily thrown Ares onto the moon or Mars if he were on Earth. Unfortunately, this was Sakaar.

Ares squeezed Jack's neck with a face full of delight, tightening his hand continuously!

Jack smiled bitterly, letting Ares hold him, but he was helpless.

The next moment, the raging energy surged out of his body, devouring everything around him. Anything touched by the energy was turned into nothingness.

Ares reacted quickly, sensing the life-threatening situation, and released his grip to retreat. However, his speed was not enough.

Boom!

A shockwave erupted from Jack's body, colliding with Ares and sending him flying out.

Luckily, he was still alive, but there was another gap on his chest, like a hole that had been wiped by an eraser. He fell far away, and his life was in danger.

"Damn it!"

In the VIP room, Athena's face was extremely ugly. She was concerned not about Ares's injury but rather Jack's current state!

Once the Infinity stones energy erupted, it would be easy to destroy a planet. Even if Jack couldn't achieve such a scale, it could destroy a city

This energy was full of hope, warmth, kindness, and even...love?

Jack's head was a bit fuzzy, and he couldn't be sure if he was feeling it correctly.

As the energy merged into his body, the previously rampaging energy inside him slowly calmed down.

Or perhaps it shouldn't be called calm, as the mysterious energy that appeared and energy had a brief encounter within Jack's body.

The rampaging spatial gem energy quieted down once again, Jack's body, on the brink of collapse, returned to its original state, and everything was back to normal except for the massive hole in the arena. It was almost as if nothing had happened.

"I knew it...I'm the protagonist!"

Jack fell straight to the ground, his face still carrying the joy of surviving a disaster, and he fell into a coma.

He had made it through!
