129 Chapter 129: Kiss

In the crowded lobby of the party, few people noticed that Jack and Diana were there.

But not everyone knew anything about them.

After all, Diana's beauty and elegance were hard to miss, and such events always attracted the attention of those who wanted to start a conversation.

"Hey Diana, I didn't expect to see you here. I heard you were coming, but I couldn't believe it," said a tall, slim man in a classy outfit who suddenly blocked Diana's path.

He raised his chin and looked at her with a somewhat arrogant expression. "I don't know if you've heard, but I work at the White House, although it's just an internship, I was specifically requested. Do you understand what that means?"

"Listen, I've been watching you for some time now. Are you interested...?"

Jack had a strange look on his face as he looked at this self-centered fool. His tone was filled with an arrogance that no one, not even a standard woman, let alone Diana, would like it.

As expected, Diana, whose view was blocked, frowned her eyebrows slightly. She directly pushes the man away.

Instead, she politely apologized and walked straight to Jack without giving him a chance to speak. She grabbed his hand and walked out of the lobby of the party.

Jack couldn't move a muscle, even with his physical strength, as if an invisible force was restraining him. He had no choice but to be pulled along by Diana, wondering where she was taking him.

He was curious about why Diana would react this way during their first meeting.

'Was it because he was too handsome?'

As he sniffed the hot scent of fragrance coming from Diana's body, Jack couldn't help but start to imagine.

It seemed that ever since Steve Trevor died air, she had not found another man.

'Was it because she finally couldn't resist the temptation of a handsome man like himself and wanted to satisfy decades of desire?'

'Hmm, it was possible.'

While Jack was lost in thought, Diana didn't slow down at all. They left the party scene quickly.

When Jack finally snapped out of his daydream, he found himself being pulled to a dark and hidden place. The Lincoln Memorial nearby was quite eye-catching.

Naturally, no one was here at this late hour, and seeing this scene, Jack's heart beat a little faster.

If she were to use force, should I accept it?

Whizz!

Suddenly, the sound of a sword being drawn pulled Jack's thoughts back. When he looked over, a cold light shot top to bottom, aimed directly at his forehead.

"Fuck me!!"

Jack was instantly frightened and broke out in a cold sweat. His face went pale, and without thinking too much, he quickly took two steps back to avoid the deadly strike.

But before he could catch his breath, the cold light struck again, this time hitting his waist and abdomen. Jack quickly backflipped to avoid it, and then he used his hands and feet to move more than ten meters away, giving him time to yell at Diana, who had almost killed him.

"What the hell is wrong with you, you crazy woman? What did I do to make you mad? Are you going through early menopause?! Or is it that time of the month?!"

"I warn you not to mess with me! Otherwise, please don't blame me for being rude."

As he shouted at her, Jack even took out a submachine gun, although it was not very useful, it gave him some sense of security.

It was strange that Diana didn't keep attacking him. Instead, she had a very strange look on her face as she looked at the gun he was holding. He was glad, but he also felt a little bad about what he had done.

Diana put away her Godkiller sword and suddenly accelerated, rushing to Jack's front instantly.

Jack's face changed, and he was about to shoot, but then he realized that Diana had taken his entire lips away.

"You... Ughmmm~"

Before he could say anything, Diana suddenly held his head with both hands and kissed him deeply with her flame-red lips.

'Huh?!!'

Jack had no idea what was going on. Just a moment ago, she seemed like she wanted to chop him into pieces, but now she was kissing him. Even though he had seen and experienced a lot, he was completely dumbfounded at this moment.

It wasn't until a sneaky little tongue slid into his mouth that he suddenly came to his senses. So, he took the initiative, using both hands to hold onto Diana's soft body, pressing her tightly against himself.

.....

ten minutes later.

"Mmm~haha~haha~"

Jack almost used all his strength to push Diana away, greedily gasping for fresh air.

Diana did not try to make any further moves. Instead, she raised her delicate hand to wipe the lipstick that had been spread around her mouth and looked at him with a teasing smile.

"I mean... I know that things on Themyscira are a bit...primitive, and the Amazon ways can be wild, but... is this really the way?"

As he spoke, Jack wiped off the lipstick from his lips.

"How will Steve understand this?" he added.

"Steve?"

Diana paused as she heard the name and a strange grin spread across her face.

"Steve...he was truly unforgettable. A wonderful man," she said, pursing her lips.

"Yes," Jack said with a feeling of sadness, looking at Diana.

Jack's complicated feelings made him unaware of the playful sparkle in Diana's eyes, nor did he see the hint of a smile in the corner of her lips.

"Alright, let's talk business." Jack said, giving Diana a worried look. "I need your help with something, and it may be dangerous, or it may be easy. But if you agree..."

"I agree!" Diana interrupted.

"What?" Jack asked, surprised by Diana's determined tone. "I mean, are you sure?"

"I said I agree! Whatever the task, I'll do it!" Diana said.

Jack blinked his eyes in surprise. He had no idea Diana would agree so quickly.

"...well, then...thank you," Jack began to say, but before he could finish, Diana interrupted him.

"Don't thank me yet. Before I help you, you have to help me find something," Diana said seriously. "I'm looking for something, and you have to help me find it."

"Find something?" Jack raised an eyebrow and asked, "I'm not really good at that. Do you have a clue in your mind?"

"Yes, we'll go find her tomorrow," Diana said.

"Why not now? Isn't now the best time?" Jack asked.

When Diana said that, she gave a mysterious smile, and her eyes lit up with the same passionate aggression as before as if she wanted to eat Jack alive again.

Jack shuddered as he thought about the kiss a while ago.
