6 5. The "Plans"
Iechun... it's the name of the planet that Thanos wanted to conquer. It is located in a remote corner of the Ecliptoria Galaxy.
The most advanced species of this planet had acquired the means of intergalactic travel just a century ago and they called themselves Iechunians or Rak-Iechunians. Rak means "The Great" in the Iechunian language.
The Iechunians are a notorious bunch and are literally called devils on some planets. The humanoid race has crimson skin and a Skrull-like appearance, they also possessed a similar shark-like set of teeth.
However, their behavior was like average goblins from The Goblin Slayer anime series. Looting and raping any weaker civilization they'd come across. They would abduct as many people as possible and would turn them into breeding tools or just torture them for twisted pleasure.
The males were disgusting as they were but the females Iechunians were even more horrifying. After mating, those bitches would eat the abducted male's genitals!
In their festivals, they would teach the children the art of torturing and raping! And this was common sense to them!
The awful species already had a high fertility rate among themselves but with the races of other planets, their fertility rate was even higher. And due to that, in just the last decade they have managed to double their wicked populace.
This caused the usual problems an overpopulated planet would suffer, and to mend this, they started looting even more frantically. And guess what, they still abduct people from other weaker planets, to mate and torture, obviously.
'For fuck's sake, their interplanetary crimes know no bound! The only thing that they have done after getting spaceships is raiding other civilizations for their debauched pleasures!'
In conclusion, the Rak-Iechunians, well, they kinda deserve a 'population control campaign from Thanos'.
Had this planet been located near a powerful empire such as Kree or Xandar and they had got the gist of Rak-Iechunian's deeds, their forces might've imprisoned or disciplined the race nicely... or perhaps, simply completely wiped out the 'evil' race...
The notion of Evil and Good was highly dependent on perspective, but to Thanos, it didn't matter. It was just as he said, in all the years of his conquest, it was never personal. Never biased. Evil or Good, rich or poor, smart or stupid, it didn't matter.
From Thanos's point of view, this was for their own good too. Due to the overpopulation, the Iechun planet was dying, their own populace was dying; there are only a limited amount of resources in this infinite expanse of the universe.
And after reading the data on the Rak-Iechunians, Jerry decided to participate in the upcoming war, after all.
There were three reasons for that, firstly, he wouldn't feel guilty. Secondly, it would serve as a nice training field. And lastly, he doesn't want to raise red flags and make the Mad Titan suspicious of his movements.
Besides, he needs to prepare himself for the dangerous world ahead and obtain a life of freedom. Surely, he'll have to kill a few enemies that would stand in his path. He's aware that he can't keep his hands clean for always. That's why it was better to practice actual killing.
This might be just Jerry's leftover luck at work that the targeted planet turned out to inhabit such an appalling race. Now, he wouldn't have to suffer a possible mental breakdown after killing billions of innocents.
'I should finish the remaining work today itself. There isn't much to do anyway.' Jerry thought as he manipulated the translucent blue screens to view the files.
For the next few hours, Jerry concentrated solely on the work. Compiling the files and stratagem into a single full-proof master strategy.
The work didn't stop just at that, he also had to compile and revise multiple contingency plans and then modify the plan to allocate resources to each barrack, depending upon their roles in the battle and their strengths.
There was also an ally, that had proposed to join the battle and contribute to Thanos's certain victory. In return, he repeatedly asks for the annihilation of a certain empire, if he managed to please the Mad Titan enough, that is.
Thanos had ordered Maw to accept the proposal.
Funnily enough, Maw had devised a plan to teach the 'ally' a lesson for his arrogance. But Jerry saw an opportunity in that plan, an opportunity to save the "enemy empire" of the "ally" and possibly create a living slave of him.
Though, he'd be Thanos's slave, not his. After all, he ain't the one in command right now.
'I'm gonna have so much fun, enacting this plan. Harassing that blue young master is gonna be funny as heck!' Jerry thought as he modified Maw's plan according to his wishes.
It took him 16 hours of consistent work to finish all the work, which was longer than he expected, the original Maw could do it in half that time. Thankfully, his desk job had trained him to do mundane tasks for long hours, or he might have procrastinated and taken an even longer time.
But since Jerry was new to all the tech and strategizing an invasion on a planet was out of the scope of his yesterday's job, he thought it was okay anyway. And yeah, the memories of Maw were a lifesaver!
And even after working so long, his body didn't seem to be tired at all! If the old, wrinkled, ugly appearance and the recent back pain were ignored then Maw's body was not that bad. Still, Jerry was determined to get a new one.
Done with the work, Jerry headed to the throne room after informing "The Other" of his arrival in the Throne room. The Other is the spokesman of Thanos. He is the one who used to order Loki in the first Avenger movie, the one who argued with Ronan in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie and then got killed by him.
Yes, he is still alive.

This Ship is called Sanctuary II and serves as the base of Thanos's operation when he is not in his domain. And at the very heart of the dreadnought class mothership, is located the Throne room.
It was just like other areas of the ship: dark, and illuminated with just minimal streaks of illuminating blue and violet lights. The dark water ponds that filled some parts of the chamber were always eerily calm, and reflective, casting a beautiful and ethereal light around the area.
At the center of the throne room stands a colossal and intimidating throne made of dark, metallic materials. And the one sitting on top of it was the Mad Titan, sporting his full set of golden armor.
Jerry gave a node to The Other and then made his way to the stairs leading to the throne and kneeled before his adoptive father.
'So, this is what my new daddy looks like in person, huh...'
"I take it that you have finished your task, Maw." Thanos, the big bad of the Marvel universe, asked Jerry with his deep and commanding voice.
"Yes, Sire." Jerry responded with a respectful nod. The 'reverence' towards towards his father oozed out of his demeanor, "I have meticulously crafted the stratagem, ensuring its intricacies leave no room for failure."
He then smiled looking at Thanos's face, a calculative glimmer in his eyes. "Moreover... I have made rather special plans for our ally. It shall serve as a test for his competency or a lesson for his arrogance and stupidity."
Even if Thanos didn't really care about politics, he leaned back on his throne and grinned.
'Now that I remember it, Thanos really used to grin a lot till he finally made an appearance in the Infinity War.'
