Chapter 369 Two Jeannes

Something interesting was happening between the two Jeannes. Sullivan watched over them with a curious expression on his face.

"Well, this is certainly interesting. Jeanne from this world is going to die at this rate. I should help her, but before that, let's just watch the fun."

Sullivan was powerful enough to keep her from being erased, so there was nothing to worry about.

Both Jeannes looked at each other.

One was from Fate, and the other was from DxD.

Jeanne (Dxd) couldn't believe it. There was someone who had the same origins as her. No, she felt that the Jeanne in front of her was more powerful.

"How could this be possible? How could someone like you exist?"

Jeanne (Dxd) asked with uncertainty. She knew that she had the soul of the original Jeanne D'arc, but she could tell that the Jeanne in front of her was the original as well.

And now their existences were crashing into each other.

She could feel that her very being was far weaker and that it was being destroyed.

Jeanne (Fate) smiled and said.

"The multiverse exists; so do I. My lord, whom I believe in, is the one true god. No, to be exact, he is the grandchild of such a being."

Jeanne (Dxd) knew about the multiverse theory, but she didn't know who the lord that she was talking about was.

She knew that she must do something right now. Otherwise, she felt that her entire existence might cease to exist in no time.

'I need to do something before my soul is completely destroyed.'

She looked at Jeanne (Fate). She was ready to fight to the death, but for some reason. She felt like it was wrong to fight with her.

'And here comes the suppression of the will! I can't even go against her, even if I am the original!'

It was frustrating, but it was a reality she had to accept. It seemed to her that Jeanne (Fate) was much stronger than her, and the weaker one had to accept their fate.

Jeanne (Fate) understood her. She also felt that there was something between them.

Her existence was consuming her existence, and it might make her existence fade away into nothingness.

"Don't worry, I meant you no harm. My sister in this universe."

Jeanne stopped her existence from devouring Jeanne's (Dxd).

She had learned how to control the divity of destruction from Sacathach. She could stop it just in time before something really bad happened.

Jeanne (Dxd) felt a lot better after Jeanne (Fate) stopped her from being destroyed. She didn't know what to feel right now.

She witnessed how her friends were suppressed and beaten. However, the Jeanne in front of her didn't do anything bad to her, and she just called her sister!

'Should I use this chance to get everyone out of here? But Georg's sacred gear has been taken away. How could we get out of the fog of the dimension lost?'

There was no way for them to get out of here without Dimension Lost. They were trapped inside this place, and only the one who took the Dimension Lost away from them could open the way for them to get out of here.

Jeanne (Fate) saw that Jeanne (Dxd) was lost for what she should do. She gave her a suggestion.

"You will be free from here after you hand my lord the sacred gear. And don't worry. My Lord always keeps his promise."

Hearing that, Jeanne (Dxd) was flabbergasted.

"He is your lord? The one you said to be the grandson of the true god. Are you for real?"

Jeanne (Fate) smiled and answered with honesty.

"Yes, he is my lord and the one whom I gave my everything to."

Jeanne (Fate) was very devoted to Sullivan. He was the one who brought her the salvation she so desperately needed in a world full of hatred.

Jeanne (Dxd) thought about it, and she shrugged. There was nothing she could do after witnessing him take everyone's sacred gear.

He could have taken it without asking.

So even if she didn't want to give it to him, it was useless.

"I'll hand it over to him myself."

Jeanne (Dxd) walked toward where Sullivan was. Jeanne (Fate) looked at her and nodded in satisfaction. She didn't have any bad intentions toward Sullivan right now, as she could tell that it was useless.

She could not do anything to him, so why try? She would just give her sacred gear to him and be done with it.

"You are very smart to accept the deal I made for you guys. And it looks like my Jeanne seems to like you very much. How about you just quit the hero faction and come under her? I'll tell you, you could become a lot stronger under her."

Sullivan saw that his Jeanne liked Jeanne (Dxd). So it was not a bad idea to pull her over to his side.

Jeanne (Dxd) couldn't believe that Sullivan would invite her to join him like that. She looked at her friend and shook her head.

"I have to refuse. I won't leave my friend and join the enemy."

"Enemy? Hehe, well, whatever you say. I will do as I promise him. You all can leave now, and don't come here to seek death again."

Sullivan chuckled about them being his enemy. They were not on that level yet but he wouldn't say anything to make them feel more depressed. Sullivan really didn't like depressing things.

And Sullivan felt something. For some reason, speaking about death gave him chills. He must be thinking things again.
