4 4: Killing zombies in the Marvel world
[Zombie: lvl 1]
Austin looked at this zombie and felt like throwing up.
it was a female zombie dressed in the clothes of a college student, what disgusted him the most was the decaying body of this zombie.
Its maggot-infested head was filled with missing chunks and insects could be seen moving about through the eye sockets and then out of its skull.
it creeped Austin out, but he calmed his thoughts and prepared for battle, seeing as the zombie was about to pounce on him.
Austin had no prior experience in using a sword, but all he had to do was swing, swing it at the zombie's head, and hope to kill it.
"f*ck it," Austin thought and stepped back a bit before jumping forward.
although the disgusting smell and body of the zombie touched all his fear points, he was in a new world now, he couldn't continue being a bitch, right?
swoosh!!
the sword in his hand came down and aimed at the head of the zombie.
puchi!!
dark green blood with a pungent smell was seen flying in the air before the zombie's head was sent flying.
huff!!

Austin tried to calm down his thoughts, this was his first time killing something this big, even if it was already dead.
beads of sweat rolled down Austin's forehead as he saw his level percentage go up.

"that was easier than I thought," Austin said to himself, it was possibly due to the zombie being only lvl 1, it didn't put up much resistance.
[killed! Zombie]
the decapitated zombie's body along with its head turned into a flash of light before it disappeared.
Within its place were two paper notes which looked like bills.
Austin walked up and looked at the two paper notes in excitement.
it was two 5$ bills, and one zombie had dropped 10$.
"This place is a treasure trove," Austin thought to himself, other than the 5$ bills, there was nothing else.
Austin picked up the money and cleaned the green zombie blood off his sword.

Austin calmed his thoughts and observed his surroundings.
the whole atmosphere was dark and eerie, coupled with the usual sounds of forced breathing, Austin ran backward.
keeping his back towards a large tree.
"System, Do you have a map function?" Austin asked.
[Ding!
Map feature locked, Please reach level 10 and awaken your class to gain the map function] the system replied.
"tsk, no map?" Austin felt like crying, without a map he didn't know where to go since the whole area was dark and he could barely see over 10 meters in front of him.
The best place to go right now would be inside the university's now run-down building.
staying out here would leave him prone to being attacked from behind.
Austin used his memories and soon found the path leading to the university, he kept his vigilance up and continued walking!
"Argh"
the familiar smell of rotten flesh once again assaulted Austin's nose.
a zombie jumped out of the darkness and rushed towards him with its hands outstretched.
Austin couldn't react in time when the zombie appeared but he unconsciously raised his sword in front of him to block.
bang!!
he was pushed onto the ground by the zombie.
[Zombie: Lvl 1]
the menacing zombie bit down at his sword, Austin and the zombie's faces were only inches away from each other as he lay on the ground and used all his strength to try to push it off.
"f*CK me" Austin shouted in fear at the sudden appearance of the zombie.
after a short while the zombie was pushed off and Austin stood back up, raising his sword and slashing its head off!
[Killed! Zombie]
the same scene happened again and the zombie was turned into a flash of light before leaving behind two 5$ bills.
after picking up the money, Austin prepared to leave but noticed a small test tube-type bottle under the two bills!
[body refining pill]
-increase body strength, taking too much will lower its effect!
"This is good stuff" Austin took out the pill and prepared to eat it.
but to make sure nothing went wrong, he asked the system first.
"system, can this pill be taken directly? no accidents will happen right?"
[Ding!
no accidents will happen, the pill will take effect immediately and increase the host's strength] the system replied robotically.
"immediate effect? that's good" Austin tossed the pill into his mouth and tried to chew it.
the moment his teeth made contact with the pill it turned into a warm liquid that fell down his throat before entering his body internally.
Austin clenched his fist and felt the increase in strength, although it wasn't too much of an increase, if he took more pills, wouldn't he become a lot stronger?
Austin soon found his way to the university after a while, he avoided going through the main door and entered through a secluded door at the side.
creak!!
the wooden door creaked the moment he opened it, alerting the crawling zombie of his presence.
"Sh*t, there is one here?" Austin thought in surprise before he stepped back away from the door.
bang!!
the zombie shot out of the door with all its power, it was crawling on all 4 of its limbs and looked at Austin with drool coming out of its decayed mouth.
[Zombie: lvl 2]
"GRAA" the crawling zombie released a terrifying sound as it crawled around the grass menacingly.
Austin wasn't scared and raised his sword, taking a stance, he clutched the weapon with all his strength and prepared for battle.
the zombie jumped towards Austin like an arrow.
bang!!!
the zombie was met with Austin's sword and was sent stumbling back.
"DIE"
Austin raised his sword and swung it down with all his power!
seeing this, the crawling zombie didn't dodge, instead, like a regular dumb zombie it approached the incoming attack.
puchi!!
the sword landed on the zombie's shoulder blade and sliced off its arm.
yet the zombie continued advancing toward him.
