27 27: A day With Cynthia

Before the night ended, Austin teleported to some random place in the forests of South America.

The surroundings were filled with nothing but tall trees and wildlife, even poisonous snakes could be encountered here if one wasn't careful.

But with Austin's perception of his surroundings, anything that threatened his life wouldn't escape his senses.

"Dungeon create"

Austin said while he stood calmly atop a tall tree that blocked out the sky if one were to look at it from the ground up.

the scene around him instantly changed and Austin was put inside a dungeon.

The next scene Shocked Austin deeply, the tree he currently stood on began to shake as it turned alive.

branches grew out of its body as its roots pushed up from the ground and the Tree creature began to move.

swoosh!!

it swung its long branches at Austin with a powerful force.

boom!

Austin's reaction time was flawless and he easily intercepted the Treant's branch with a fist.

the powerful branch shattered and a hole appeared in the middle as the whole branch flew off the Treant.

[Treant: lvl 24]

Austin leaped off the Treant before teleporting in its face and sending a kick towards it, and like a pencil, the Treant's body was shattered easily and cracked as cracks of wood appeared everywhere.

[Killed! Treant]

While Austin stood atop the broken-down body of the Treant, he glanced behind himself and looked at the horde of towering Treants appearing behind him.

Austin was long used to the way that the system randomly spawned random creatures so he didn't think too much about it.

Without picking up the loot, Austin menacingly walked into the crowd of the huge Treants as they marched towards him.

After an hour and thirty minutes, Austin defeated hundreds of Treant which continuously spawned after he easily killed them.

Due to the incredible amount of experience, Austin leveled up 5 more times and gained 25 stat points which he allocated to his stats evenly and added 10 stat points to his intelligence.

The surge of mana that Austin could now muster with his powers was absurd but as strong as he grew, he knew that it would never be enough in this world unless he became a literal god.

After clearing the dungeon, Austin collected all his drops, other than the usual large amount of money he also gained two new items which he could use immediately.

[Treant's blessed wand (Rare)]

+15 mana

+5 vitality

[Skill Book: Life Drain]

Drain the life of your opponents to raise your health.

The Treant's want could replace Austin's old mana wand since it added more stats.

As for Life Drain, it was a skill that Austin wouldn't avoid learning, it was a life-saving ability that anyone would want, Although it would make his enemies suffer greatly, it would aid his healing if ever got injured.

a self-healing ability.

Austin immediately learned the skill and teleported out of the Forrest of south America, After appearing back in his dorm room he fell asleep soundly with a slight smile on his face.

The next morning.

Austin woke up to the chirping of birds outside and got ready for another day, due to his strength increasing he became more confident in himself, this wasn't arrogance, but confidence in himself that he wasn't so weak anymore.

As much as Austin wanted to rely on personal power, he knew that wouldn't be enough.

Even someone like Thanos had an army of soldiers at his side whenever he traveled the universe.

Austin also wished to one day build an interstellar empire, which he solely ruled by himself.

while he was in his thoughts, his phone began to ring, it was a call from Cynthia.

"hey Cynthia, what's up," Austin asked, he had been talking to this girl most of the day whenever he was free, usually in texts of course, she rarely called.

"hi Austin, did you forget that I would cook for you today?" Cynthia's soft voice was heard from the other side of the phone.

"Still, you are usually so busy I didn't think you were serious" Austin replied, this girl was usually so busy in her books that nothing else mattered to her.

"doesn't mean Im too busy to cook, u better hurry over to my dorm or forget it" Cynthia rolled her eyes and spoke through the phone, she couldn't believe Austin thought she would cancel on him.

Austin laughed at her abruptly ending the call and didn't think too much, he turned on his phone and texted Cynthia.

"ma'am, how will I get to your dorm? you never told me which room number it was *confused emoji*"

After saying this, Austin turned off his phone and wore some casual clothes before heading out.

it was the usual morning in the university, many students could be seen leaving their dorm rooms to go buy food to eat.

After getting Cynthia's dorm number, Austin appeared there immediately and entered.

Surprisingly Mya and Cynthia shared a dorm room.

"wow, you guys planned a date already?" Mya said with a laugh while she grabbed an apple from the kitchen counter.

"It's not a date, I'm just cooking for him" Cynthia replied softly, she knew Mya would use this against her for a good while.

"wow, I thought Cynthia would only cook for me," Mya said while giving them both a smirk.

"what are you thinking," Cynthia said while pushing her out of the dorm room.

Mya had something to do today, so they pretty much had the whole day to themself.

As promised, Cynthia cooked a nice Japanese breakfast for Austin, although one would say he was capping.

he truly found the food delicious he even wanted to eat her food every day.

Since they pretty much had the whole day to themself, Austin and Cynthia decided to go outside to time square and hang out.

they only returned to the dorm a few hours after noon and went their separate ways.
