18 18: S.H.I.E.L.D.

The next day.

Austin canceled all of the classes he had today, while he was eating breakfast he got a call from Phil.

"hey, Malik, where should we come to pick you up," Phil said from the other end of the phone.

"I am currently near the sidewalk near the Osteria restaurant in Brooklyn" Austin replied.

"all right, we will be there shortly" Phil replied before ending the call.

"Austin put on his mask and robe and headed towards the location he gave Phil, he appeared there after a few minutes while using his flight ability.

Austin then found a bench to sit on while waiting for Phil to appear.

After a few minutes, a black luxury car appeared in front of Austin, and Phil and another agent could be seen in the driver and passenger seats.

Phil took off his sunglasses and looked at Austin who was admiring the car.

"Do you like it?" Phil said with a smile.

"It's alright," Austin said while standing up from the bench.

"if you work something out with our leader you can get enough money to buy something miscellaneous like this," Phil said before having his attendant open the door for Austin.

While seated in the car, Phil looked at Austin through the mirror view, to which Austin immediately returned his gaze.

"haha what sharp reaction you have, what the hell did you go through these couple of days, you seem more of a monster than you did before," Phil said in shock, although he had no superpowers, he could still feel the powerful aura which was emanated by Austin through his eyes.

"All I can say is, it was one hell of an experience," Austin said before ignoring Phil and pulling out his phone.

"hey are you at school right now?" it was a text from Cynthia.

"no, why what's wrong" Austin texted her back, he was about to put his phone away but he got a reply back from her nearly instantly.

"you should come back tomorrow it's the weekend, didn't I promise to let you taste my cooking *chef emoji*" Austin smiled while seeing her text.

"of course, I Can't wait" Austin texted back before turning off his phone.

After 30 or so minutes of driving around, they finally seemed to reach their destination.

Phil's attendant drove across the bridge which led towards the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, the shield headquarters was a huge building that was surrounded by water.

While Phil's attendant drove, Austin looked outside the window and took in the scenery, it was very nice to look at.

Many people in business suits could be seen in their cars and heading towards the triskelion S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters.

After a few minutes, they were off the bridge and entered the headquarters, phil's attendant parked in a private parking spot before they all got out of the car.

"This place looks so amazing no matter how many times I see it," Phil said while stretching.

"it is well built" Austin replied plainly, he hoped one day he could create a force that solely belonged to him in this universe.

With enough strength he could even go out to space and subdue fleets of alien warriors if he wanted to, anything was possible with strength.

"All right then, shall we proceed," Phil said while motioning towards his attendant to lead the way.

"While we head there I'll give you a basic idea of the facilities we have here at the shield," Phil said while walking beside Austin, he wasn't the least bit uncomfortable with his appearance, he was sure that Austin only wanted to hide his appearance for safety reasons.

"go ahead," Austin said without thinking much about it.

"here at shield we do research in many fields while also dealing with out-of-the-ordinary things, we also have academies and training grounds which specialize in training new agents..."

Phil continued to talk while they entered the triskelion, Austin looked around and noticed many people in business suits holding cases walking around.

In the middle of this large "main" room which led to the entrance of the triskelion, there was a flat statue-like logo of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Corporation.

Everything here looked very high-tech, Austin allowed his eyes to roam all over the place while making sure to follow Phil's attendant.

Along the way, many people in suits greeted Phil before going along with their day.

Austin was the odd one here, wearing a black cloak with a mask one, he would've aroused suspicion if it wasn't for the presence of Phil and his attendant.

"Hello, Mr. Coulson," a young man with blonde hair with a business suit said.

"hey Jackson, how are you liking it here," Phil said while patting the young man's shoulders.

"I love it, thanks so much for the opportunity, but, who is that person? He looks so shady" The young man named Jackson said while looking at Austin, he immediately looked away unconsciously, he felt as if he started too hard he would be in great danger.

"Haha, this is my special guest today, you can call him Malik, if there is nothing else we need to meet with directory fury," Phil said before he along with his attendant walked away.

Austin calmly followed them with light footsteps, he could feel Jackson's gaze on him but he didn't bother with the guy.

"what a strange person," Jackson thought before he left the area.

Austin followed Phil and his attendant to an elevator which brought them to the topmost floor of the Triskelion.

After they got out of the elevator, Phil used his fingerprint to open a secret door that led to an area filled with many rooms.

"you stay here, malik, come with me," Phil said.

His attendant nodded and stayed still near the entrance as they moved towards a room.

Phil knocked on a metal door a few times.

"come in"

A deep voice was heard from inside the room.
