2 (The training session.)

Chapter two:

Holy shit this place is amazing. I didn't realize it would be this massive. It looks like something out of Hunger Games facility. There is everything a trainee could ask for. Monica and I stood there with our mouths open while Peter started touching everything and had fired webs at every target. Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes shake their heads. You can simply hear a belly laugh from Thor. Peter then turned around and stopped.

"Was I supposed not to do that?" Said Peter Parker.

"It's fine Peter just go get something to clean it off with." Replied Wanda. She's kind whilst the guy's just take the opportunity to laugh at Peter. Peter then returned with a wet cloth sparking more laughs from the boy's. Wanda then took the cloth from him and threw it at Sam and Bucky Barnes.

"Thor you work Peter. I'm going to work with Monica and Travis. You two clowns clean up the targets. Oh, and get something better than a wet cloth." Said Wanda and Peter just smiled and Monica and I just giggled.

"Oh look the new Captain America got told off by Wanda very powerful of you, you can hear Bucky Barnes say as we left the room. They continued to bicker down the hall until we could no longer hear them.

"Ok so you have power's similar to Pietro. Travis you can use red lightning, I'll leave the running to Bucky and Sam they can finally make themselves useful. Monica can absorb things. Which I don't know much about. But I'll give it a try. We're not sure the extent your powers so we're going to try some different things." Said Wanda and Monica and I just nodded at her.

I then stepped forward and shot blue lightning at the pencil that was on the table which I found easy. Wanda then instructed me to shoot blue lightning at the table and the pencil at the same time. That was a bit more difficult but I did it.

"Right this is too easy for you. How fast can you run?" Replied Wanda before she looked at me puzzled. "6000mph." Wanda then looked at me impressed. "What other powers do you have?" She asked me.

"Sometimes I can read thoughts so I can tell if they're lying to me. Blue lightning and super speed. That's about as far as I know." I replied.

"Interesting. Right I think you should go run rings around Sam and Bucky for the time being. Then I want you to talk to Thor about strengthening you up for a bit and you can start working on that first thing tomorrow." Said Wanda.

Tentatively I made my way over to Bucky and Sam. "Hey, Wanda sent me to work on my super speed with you." I replied.

"Why is Wanda giving us all of the work?" I heard Sam's thoughts.

"I don't know maybe it's because you've been picking on Peter." I replied. "Who wants to go first?" I challenged the both of them and Sam Wilson looked terrified.

"How did you know what I was thinking?" Said Sam Wilson.

"Bucky your up." I replied before walking to the track section that was outside of the facility. As soon as we got out Bucky Barnes started to run. I then laughed quickly and overlapped him with just a few paces. To make it fun I started to run backwards.

"Now that's just bullying." I read Bucky Barnes mind.

"You know I think I'd get more out racing a fast car. Don't think that would be bullying as much then." I replied before I overlapped him again.

As I ran away I heard Bucky Barnes tells Sam Wilson to get the fastest car they have. Sam then pulled up a few minutes later in a SSC Tutara. "Let's see how you do against one of these. This record speed's up to 316mph. Good luck." Said Sam Wilson. Maybe if I built up speed before the SSC Tutara then I could beat it.

"Ok winner takes all." I replied and Sam Wilson just nodded his head at me. I setted off the fastest I can and pulled ahead of the car for half a lap before it started to get faster. I don't think that I've ever run so fast. I finished first with the car a few meters behind me.

When I got to the finish line, I see Thor, Peter Parker and Monica cheering whilst Wanda stood with a smirk on her face that made me beam with pride.

"Your welcome." I told Peter before going to take a shower.

After a quick shower I felt refreshed. I then threw on some cuffed jeans and a T-shirt before heading to dinner. As soon as I'm about to leave I heard a knock on my door.

"Hey Travis I just wanted to say thank you for standing up for me. I guess that the Iceman is a easy target." Said Peter Parker.

"Don't mention it." I replied. We continued to talk for a while as we made our way to the dinner table.

When I sat down for dinner Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes went quiet. Thor then got up and gave me a pat on the back. "Sit next to me." She said. As we sit down I see Wanda across from me who smiled. " Wanda told me about your powers. We are going to work on your strength tomorrow and then we want to see if you can run 6500mph." Replied Thor.

I just looked at Wanda. "You think that I can run 6500mph?" I said.

"I don't see why you can't. We suspect Pietro could have to." Replied Wanda.

She then gave a stern look to Bucky and Sam. "Hey Peter we just wanted to say sorry for messing with you." Said Bucky Barnes.

"Yeah sorry." Replied Sam Wilson.

"It's okay. I get it but I just wanted to be part of the team." Said Peter Parker.

"You are brother." Replied Thor and Peter just smiled at him.

I then started to watch Wanda who seem delighted for Peter She then caught me trying to read her mind. "Don't try it with me. It won't work and I'll do it straight back." Said Wanda.

"Sorry." I replied and she just nodded at me.

As soon as dinner is finished I quickly dismissed myself and headed to bed. As soon as my head hits the pillow I began to yawn. All I could do was toss and turn with the image of Wanda surrounding my thoughts. What if she read my thoughts when I think she's beautiful or something. I begin to panic and started pacing.

The door then knocked. "Hey are you okay? We can hear you from your room so I guess your pacing again?" Said Wanda.

"Yeah I'm totally fine. I'm just worried about how I came across I don't want to miss this opportunity." I replied..

"You showed Bucky and Sam up you've got their respect. As well as Thor's and mine Peter appreciates what you did for him. Monica has been taking about how cool your powers are. You came across well. And don't worry I was only kidding about reading your mind. I know you can't control it. But that's what I'm here for. Try to get some sleep." Said Wanda.

"Good night, and thank you." I replied closing the door. I then got into bed and went to sleep. Where I am met with memories and longing.
