"Jarvis call Colonel Rhodes"

"Calling Colonel Rhodes…"

*Beep beep* (Ringing)

"Hello Tony, what is it? I'm busy right now"

"Hey! Relax, is that how you're supposed to talk to your best friend who has been hospitalized for a long time and just came back not too long ago besides what could take up your time other than me!"

"Tony because of the stunt you pulled as soon as you got out of the hospital, the military has me on the neck and right now i am on duty so unless it is good news about how you didn't mean what you said on news then i probably don't care much"

"Alright I'll meet you there in the military base since what I am about to say is confidential highly"

"How did you know I was at the base?"

"You just told me"

"When"

"Now"

*Beep Beep* (Call ended)

Walking to the center of the garage where he is to dismantle the suit, which Jarvis helped him do while also keep thinking about the battle he just had with the military knowing they were not going all out and it seems the suit is only efficient against normal armed personnel.

'Either way I'll think of that after meeting Rhodes'

Thinking about all this pepper came into his workshop and saw him trying to take off the suit with Jarvis as an assistant, which wasn't going smoothly.

But what caught her attention was how damaged the suit was

"Are those bullet holes?" Pepper asked

"If I said no would you believe me?"

Following that pepper walked away to come back when Tony had taken off the armour.

After taking off the suit, Tony started working on a Mark 3, to be an improved version of the mark 2 model, blueprint wise it was the same but now he had decided to only improve the weapons system and solve the icing issue which Jarvis notified him of earlier when he was drag racing with the raptors. By adding a gold to the titanium used for Mark 2, making it a gold titanium alloy for mark 3.

There were other ways of solving the icing issue but mark 3 would be inefficient for that, and also the shock absorber, while thinking about that pepper had already stepped into his workspace this time but because Tony called her.

Before Tony could say anything Pepper had already initiated a conversation and said

"Tony, you're hurting yourself, you'll get killed and I can't bear to see you hurt and if youre not going to stop then i quit Stark industries"

Tony was shocked at the progression of their relative closeness and asked

"Two weeks ago you were crying tears of joy for your lost lost boss, and now you can't bear to see me hurt?"

'Is this some kind of motherly love? Sisters intuition or does she have a phobia that gives her PTSD?'

Pepper was surprised to hear the tone and this part of Tony

"Look, don't get me wrong pepper but what do you stand for?"

Pepper scoffed and said

"Tony I stand for whatever that is right and…"
