Age of Ultron (4)

The Quinjet finally landed on an open field with a house in the middle. The others are now wide awake but still pretty shaken from what the girl did to their brains. Hyperion is now wearing normal clothes that Tony gave him as they finally entered the house.

Thor: "What is this place?"

Tony: "A safe house?"

Clint: "Let's hope. Honey, I'm home."

Then a pregnant woman walks out of the kitchen greeting Clint with a kiss.

Clint: "Hi. Company, sorry I didn't call ahead."

Laura: "Hey."

Tony: "This is an agent of some kind."

Clint: "Gentlemen, this is Laura."

Laura: "I know all your names."

She then turned to Hyperion who was standing next to Steve.

Laura: "Uhm... except you."

Hyperion: "Nice to meet you. I'm Hyperion but you can call me Mark."

Laura: "Nice to finally meet you. All of you."

Footsteps can be heard from upstairs as Clint's kids run in and hug their dad.

Clint: "Ooh, incoming."

Lila: "Dad!"

Clint: "Hey sweetheart."

He then kissed the top of his son's head.

Clint: "Hey buddy. How are you guys doing?"

Tony: "These are smaller... agents."

Hyperion elbowed him as he returned to watching the happy family interaction. He then saw Thor stumble a little and started to walk out. He and Steve followed outside of the house.

Hyperion: "Thor, where are you going?"

Thor: "I saw something in that dream. There's these stones like the ones you mention before. I need answers and I can't find them here."

He twirled his hammer and flew away leaving Hyperion and Steve. Steve then also remembered his vision as he looked down making Hyperion put a hand in his shoulder.

Hyperion: "It will be alright Steve. I might not know what you saw but it isn't real."

Steve: "It feels like it but thanks for comforting me old friend."

Hyperion: "Anything for family. Now tell the team I'll be back. I need to get something. I won't take long."

Steve: "Alright. See you later."

Hyperion nodded and flew into the sky before disappearing from Steve's view. A few moments went by, he arrived to where the Domo was hidden underground. He walked through the halls of the Domo as this is his second time back inside. All the memories he made with his Eternal family. He won't forget all they did together.

He arrived at the central room of the Domo and was surprised to see who was there sitting on a throne with valuable items from way back all around.

Hyperion: "Makkari?"

The fastest Eternal only second to Hyperion. Once Makkari saw Hyperion, she beamed up and immediately hugged the Eternal. Chuckling, he hugged back as Makkari separated from the hug and started to speak in sign language.

Makkari: *sign* "I'm glad to see you again."

Hyperion: "You too and I see you got busy."

Makkari: *sign* "You too Mr. Superhero. So why are you here?"

Hyperion: "I'm getting something that is mine."

Hyperion went towards the wall of the Domo and stood there. Moments later, golden linings appeared and surrounded his body. After a few seconds, he is now in his original Eternal suit.

Hyperion: "I don't know why some don't like the cape. I love it."

Makkari: *sign* "To be honest, I like your suit more than ours."

Hyperion: "What can I say, I'm special."

After giving Makkari a hug goodbye, Hyperion flew back to the Barton household using his Super Vision to locate it. Hyperion slowly floated down to see the family doing work outside with the other Avengers as Clint's kids saw him and started to get excited.

Cooper: "Wow! Look Lila, it's Superman!"

Lila: "It really is him!"

Hyperion landed and made his suit disappear leaving him in his clothes from earlier. He gave a chuckle upon hearing the kid's comments towards him.

Hyperion: "Sorry to say this kids but I'm not Superman."

Clint: "Glad you know the reference."

Hyperion: "I'm know more than you think Clint. Now where is everyone?"

Clint: "Glad you know the reference."

Hyperion: "I'm know more than you think Clint. Now where is everyone?"

Clint: "Stark and Cap are cutting some woods while Nat and Banner are having some alone time."

Hyperion: "Are those two a thing?"

Clint: "I don't even know myself."

Hyperion walked towards the two who were busy chopping off woods. He was still a few feet away but is already hearing what they are talking about because of his super hearing.

Tony: "Thor didn't say where he was going for answers?"

Steve: "Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things. I was of hoping Thor would be the exception. Will except Marc."

Tony: "Well the old man doesn't really keep secrets from us. Give Thor some time. We don't know what the Maximoff kid showed him."

Steve: "Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Pulled us apart like cotton candy."

Tony: "Seems like you walked away alright."

Steve: "Is that a problem?"

Tony: "I don't trust a guy without a dark side. Call me old fashioned. Even the old man as his darkest times that's why I trust him a lot."

Steve: "Well let's just say you haven't seen it yet."

Hyperion: "I see you two are having a good time."

The two turned towards the Eternal who grabbed a log and break it in two without much effort.

Hyperion: "You guys know that Ultron is tearing us apart, right?"

Tony: "Yup. And his doing a very good job at it."

Steve: *turns to Tony* "Well I guess you'd know. Whether you tell us is a bit of a question."

Tony: "Banner and I are doing research."

Hyperion: "That would affect the team."

Tony: "That would end the team. Isn't that the mission? Isn't that the "why" we fight, so we can end the fight, so we get to go home?"

Steve annoyed, ripped a wood in two as he stood in front of Tony.

Steve: "Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts, innocent people die. Every time."

Hyperion was about to stop the two but the tension broke once Laura approached then especially towards Tony.

Laura: "I'm sorry. Mr. Stark, uh, Clint said you wouldn't mind, but, our tractor, it doesn't seem to want to start at all. I thought maybe you might..."

Tony: "Yeah, I'll give her a kick. Don't take from my pile."

Tony walked towards the barn as Hyperion just stood there with his hand crossed. He already knew he was there.

Steve: "His here am I right?"

Hyperion: "I can already see him from here."

Steve turned to him confused as he just pointed at his eyes.

Hyperion: "Supervision. I should go and meet him. It's been some time."

Hyperion followed Tony towards the barn as Tony was inspecting the tractor when a voice was heard from the other side.

Fury: "Do me a favor and try not to bring it to life."

Tony: "Ah, Mrs. Barton, you little minx. I get it, Maria called you right? Was she ever not working for you?"

Fury: "Artificial Intelligence. You never even hesitated."

Hyperion: "He never does when puts his mind into it."

Hyperion approached the two as Fury just smirked seeing the Superpowered Eternal.

Hyperion: "You too."

Tony: "Okay ouch, that Hurst old man."

Hyperion just gave a deadpanned expression as Tony just sighed.

Tony: "Look, it's been a really long day, like, Eugene O'Neill long, so how about we skip to the part where you're useful?"

Fury: "Look me in the eye and tell me you are going to shut him down."

Tony: "Which one? And you're not the Director of me."

Fury: "I'm not the director of anybody. I'm just an old man, who cares very much about you."

Hyperion: "Fury caring for someone. The world is really ending."

Fury: "Shut up."

Tony: "And I'm the man who killed the Avengers. I saw it. I didn't tell the team, how could I? I saw them all dead, Nick. I felt it. The whole world, too. It's because of me. I wasn't ready. I didn't do all I could."

Hyperion: "I'm sorry that I didn't help you with your problems Tony."

Tony: "It's okay old man. I know you have problems of your own. But I also have this other vision."

Fury: "Go on."

Tony then turned towards Hyperion who raised an eyebrow.

Tony: "You were fighting someone. A guy with a cape with bright glowing golden eyes. You guys caused shockwaves and destroyed everything in your path."

Hyperion: "That's all?"

Tony nodded as Fury became even more worried about what's to come in the future. A being that can equal Hyperion, the Avengers' unstoppable force.

Fury: "The Maximoff girl, she's working on you. Playing on your fear."

Tony: "I wasn't tricked. I was shown. It wasn't a nightmare, it was my legacy. The end of the path I started us on."

Fury: "You've come up with some pretty impressive inventions, Tony. War isn't one of them."

Tony: "I watched my friends die. You'd think that'd be as bad as it gets, right? Nope. Wasn't the worst part."

Fury: "The worst part is you didn't."

Hyperion: "How about we talk this out with the rest of the team."

Hyperion walked out followed by the two men as they walked back towards the Barton residence.

Ultron is sitting watching the now mind controlled Helen working on the cradle his new body made from the vibranium he stole. That's when he heard footsteps walking towards him. He looked up and saw the same armored figure Hyperion fought after Amelia and Konrad disappeared.

Ultron: "Hmm, what businesses do you have here?"

?: "Just wanted to talk to the big bad robot that's ripping the Earth's Mightiest Heroes apart."

Ultron stood up from his sitting position and looked towards two of his drones. The drone attacked at both sides of the figure but he just grabbed them by the neck and ripped them apart without effort gaining the robot's attention.

?: "So what's it going to be?"

Ultron: "I'm listening."

Back at the Barton residence, everyone is now at the kitchen planning on what to do to stop Ultron from his plan.

Fury: "Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time. My contacts all say he's building something. The amount of Vibranium he made off with, I don't think it's just one thing."

Steve: "What about Ultron himself?"

Fury: "I'm sure Mark can find him in no time."

Hyperion: "That I will."

Tony: "Is he still going after launch codes?"

Fury: "Yes, he is, but he's not making any headway."

Stark: "I cracked the Pentagon's firewall in highschool on a dare."

Fury: "Yeah, well, I contacted our friends at the NEXUS about that."

Steve: "NEXUS?"

Hyperion: "It's the world's internet hub in Oslo."

Tony: "Not gonna question on how you know that old man."

Hyperion: *chuckle* "Just like I told all of you. I know much more than you know."

Clint: "So what'd they say?"

Fury: "He's fixated on the missiles but the codes are constantly being changed."

Tony: "By whom?"

Fury: "Parties unknown."

Natasha: "Do we have an ally?"

Fury: "Ultron's got an enemy, that's not the same thing. Still, I'd pay folding money to know who it is."

Tony: "I might need to visit Oslo, find our "unknown"."

Natasha: "Well, these are good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that."

Fury: "I do, I have you. Back in the day, I had eyes everywhere, ears everywhere else. Here we all are, back on earth, with nothing but our wit, and our will to save the world. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard."

Hyperion: "Steve doesn't like that kind of talk Nick."

Steve: "Come one man."

Hyperion: *smirks* "What? It's true."

Fury: "So what does he want?"

Steve: "To become better. Better than us. He keeps building bodies."

Tony: "Person bodies. The human form is inefficient, biologically speaking, we're outmoded. But he keeps coming back to it"

Natasha: "When you two programmed him to protect the human race, you amazingly failed."

Bruce: "They don't need to be protected, they need to evolve."

Hyperion: "He's evolving and it's not good."

Fury: "How?"

Hyperion then thought of someone who has been silent for quite a while now.

Hyperion: "Have you guys been in contact with Helen lately?"

The team looked at one another and finally knew where Ultron is. They scrambled around the house getting ready to head to Korea to stop Ultron.

Steve: "I'll take Natasha and Clint."

Fury: "You have to bring Mark with you. The cameras spotted something or someone that you might want to see."

Fury puts the tablet on the table as it shows the camera from outside Helen's compound in Korea. A figure landed with a loud thud cracking the ground. This surprised Mark as it's the same figure be fought a few weeks back.

Hyperion: "Just as I thought."

Steve: "You know him."

Hyperion: "He is just like me. A Superior Eternal. He was created in order to stop me if I go against my creators wishes but unlucky for him I already did that centuries ago."

Fury: "That's why you have to bring the big guns with you. He will be a bigger problem than Ultron."

Steve: "Of course. By the looks of it, this guy is trouble."

Hyperion: "Oh trust me, he's more than that."

Tony: "Alright, strictly recon. I'll hit the NEXUS, I'll join you as soon as I can."

Steve: "If Ultron is really building a body..."

Hyperion: "He'll be more powerful."

Tony: "And Mark will be the only one who can stop him. An android designed by a robot."

Steve: "You know I really miss the days when the weirdest thing science ever created was me."

Fury: "I'll drop Banner off at the tower. Do you mind if I borrow Ms. Hill."

Tony: "She's all yours, apparently."

Steve: "What are you gonna do?"

Fury: "I don't know. Something dramatic, I hope."

The team is ready as they are now outside ready to take off to their own missions. Hyperion is now in his suit and floating in the air.

Steve: "We'll catch up to you. Go."

Hyperion: "See you there."

Hyperion shot up into the air creating a Sonic boom heading towards Korea. In the lab in Korea, Helen is now uploading Ultron's consciousness to the body. Wanda and Pietro are also there as Wanda stares at the new body.

Wanda: "I can read him. He's dreaming."

Helen: "I wouldn't call it dreams. It's Ultron's base consciousness, informational noise. Soon..."

Ultron: "How soon? I'm not being pushy."

Helen: "We're imprinting a physical brain. There are no shortcuts. Even if your magic gem is..."

Wanda then touched the cradle as she saw a vision. The world's annihilation makes her scream and fall to her brother's arms. Ultron stood up and stared at the twins.

Wanda: "How could you?"

Ultron: "How could I what?"

Wanda: "You said we would destroy the Avengers, make a better world."

Ultron: "It will be better."

Wanda: "When everyone is dead."

Ultron: "That is not- The human race will have every opportunity to improve."

Pietro: "And if they didn't?"

Ultron: "Ask Noah."

Wanda: "You're a madman."

Ultron: "There were more than a dozen extinction level events before even the dinosaurs got theirs. When the Earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it, and believe me, he's winding up. We have to evolve. There's no room for the weak."

Pietro: "And who decides who's weak?"

As Ultron was distracted, Wanda used her power to free Helen from the mind control.

Ultron: "Life. Life always decides. There's incoming. The Quinjet. We have to move."

Helen: "That's not a problem."

Helen pushed a few keys that's when the uploading of Ultron's consciousness stopped making him sigh in frustration. Ultron blasted Helen as Pietro carried Wanda and ran out of the compound.

Ultron: "Ah, wait guys."

The drones then blasted Helen's technician as the armored figure came out of the shadows.

?: "He's coming."

Ultron: "I know, I know. They'll understand. When they see they'll understand. I just need a little more time."

He unplugs himself from the cradle as they walk out of the compound with the cradle and put it on a truck. Ultron then turned to his new ally and nodded.

Ultron: "You know what to do Arkus."

Arkus: "I'll take care of the Eternal, don't let them get the cradle."

Hyperion landed on the roof of the compound as he broke through it and landed inside the lab. He then rushed towards Helen who was leaning on a wall clutching her injured side.

Hyperion: "Helen!"

Helen: "You need to stop him. He's uploading himself into the body. The real power is inside the gem."

Hyperion: "This is bad. This will cause global catastrophe. The stone's power is limitless."

Helen: "That's why you must stop him. Be careful, he's not alone."

?: "Dr. Cho!"

They turned towards the voice and saw a woman running towards them. She's a beautiful woman in her mid twenties, short hair wearing a leather jacket.

The woman kneeled beside her and started to use her powers which surprised Hyperion.

?: "What happened?"

Helen: "There is not much time. Mark go."

Hyperion: "Rest okay? (towards the woman) Take care of her."

Hyperion ran towards the hole he made from the ceiling and flew up in the air. He floated in the air trying to find Ultron and finally found him.

Hyperion: "He's right below you."

Steve: "On it!"

Steve was running on a bridge until he jumped on the edge and landed on top of the trailer. Hyperion flew at top speeds already closing in on the truck but was tackled mid air by Arkus.

Arkus: "You are not going to ruin everything Eternal."

Hyperion: "I knew you would team up with him. If this keeps up, what will Arishem say if the Emergence gets delayed."

Arkus: "You don't have the right to say his name."

Arkus punched Hyperion who blocked the attack making him fly a few feet but stopped and put his arms down.

Hyperion: "You are right and I'm glad."

Hyperion charged towards Arkus who charged back. Hyperion landed a punch making Arkus stumble back as he threw his own which Hyperion dodged and gave him an uppercut. Arkus created two blades as he swung them around trying to cut Hyperion. Hyperion avoided them giving Arkus the time to land a kick staggering Hyperion. He then hammered Hyperion towards the ground as Hyperion crashed through a bridge then to the concrete floor under the bridge.

Hyperion stood back as Arkus flew in tackling him towards a building crashing to the side. The other side of the building then collapsed as Arkus was sent barrelling through the air. He turned back towards the building and saw Hyperion flying towards the building and saw Hyperion flying towards him and landed multiple powerful punches. Hyperion then blasted him with his Atomic Vision as Arkus created a shield but was still pushed back. Hyperion used his speed to get behind Arkus and grabbed him in a headlock.

Hyperion: "Why are you doing this?!"

Arkus: "I can do whatever I want and no one can stop me."

He headbutt Hyperion stunning him for a bit. He then punched him multiple times before kicking him towards another building. Hyperion crashed creating a spiderweb like crater and then fell to the ground. Arkus landed and created a spear trying to stab the down Hyperion who caught it pushing it back. He broke the spear and landed a haymaker to Arkus chest sending him skid back. Hyperion lifted a car and started to bash Arkus with it making him stumble back. Arkus then sliced the car but didn't react on time to dodge one of Hyperion's punches. He caught the punch but Hyperion headbutt him stunning him grunting in pain.

Hyperion towards him as he readied to punch him but he faked it and before grabbing him by the back of his armor and threw to the ground. Arkus was getting angry at how Hyperion was beating him down. He was supposed to be the Superior Eternal Arishem created.

Hyperion: "Stand down if you know what's good for you."

Arkus: "I will not be beaten by the likes of you."

Hyperion: "Your funeral then."

Hyperion fired his Atomic Vision once more as Arkus shielded himself digging his feet on the ground. Letting out an enraged roar Arkus sidestepped and charged at Hyperion. Hyperion crossed his arms blocking the punch as he was sent skidding on the concrete floor. Hyperion stood up quickly to avoid another attack from Arkus but Arkus filled with rage got stronger and faster as he landed nasty one-two before sending Hyperion flying with an uppercut making crash toward the side of the before flipping and gaining his balance back floating in mid air.

Hyperion: "He's getting stronger by the minute. I must stop this now."

Arkus jumped in the air and flew towards Hyperion. Hyperion sidestepped his attack as he punched Arkus away. He then grabbed him and flew him up until they reached outer space. Hyperion kept on flying Arkus in hand as he flew straight towards the moon.

Arkus: "Nooo!"

Hyperion slammed Arkus on the moon creating a dust cloud and a crater. Once the dust disappeared, Arkus is seen unconscious. Hyperion flew back to Earth as he touched his comms.

Hyperion: "Steve, what's your status?"

Steve: "Kind of busy here!"

Just by the sound, he is clearly fighting Ultron. Hyperion used his supervision to try and find them and saw them crash on a train.

Hyperion: "I can see that."

As Ultron and Steve were fighting, Ultron got pushed back by someone running past him as revealed to be Pietro. Ultron was about to advance but the steel on top of the train bent down with red energy not letting him pass. He then looked back to see Wanda.

Ultron: "Please don't do this."

Wanda: "What choice do we have?"

Ultron was about to attack her but Hyperion came in in time to blast Ultron with his Atomic Vision slicing one of his arms off. He then flew away as Steve ran towards the front of the train seeing the controls are busted.

Steve: "We lost him! He's heading your way."

Clint then comms back with a worried tone in his voice.

Clint: "Cap, Mark! Have you seen Nat?"

Steve: "If you have the package, get it to Stark! Go!"

Clint: "Do you have eyes on Nat?"

Steve: "Go!"

Hyperion was about to fly out and look for Natasha but before he could, the train got off track and hit a building. Using his speed, He went towards the front of the train to shield the people from debris coming in.

Steve: "Civilians are in our path."

Pietro nodded and sped off to get the civilians out of the way. Steve then turned to Hyperion and Wanda.

Steve: "Mark, I need you to stop this train. Can you do that?"

Hyperion: "Never doubt me Rogers."

Steve: *smirk* "I wasn't."

Hyperion flew out of the train and went in front of it.

Wanda: "Are you sure he can stop this-"

The train trembled as Hyperion planted his feet to the ground mustering all of his strength in stopping the train.

Steve: "I need you to help him stop the train."

Wanda nodded and used her powers to stop the train's wheels and turned on the breaks. Hyperion was doing his best as the train started to slow down as he put everything and pushed it back finally stopping it. Pietro is seen panting and sitting down on the corner with Wanda comforting him. Steve approached Hyperion who didn't even break a sweat.

Steve: "See? I knew you could do it."

Hyperion: "Yeah yeah. We have business to take care of."

The two then approached the twins as Wanda was getting worried for her brother.

Pietro: "I'm fine just give me a minute."

Steve: "I'm very tempted not to give you one."

Wanda: "The Cradle, did you get it ?"

Steve: "Stark will take care of it."

Wanda: "No, he won't."

Hyperion: "How would you know that?"

Wanda: "He will do anything to make things right."

Steve then started to radio Stark but to no avail.

Steve: "Stark, come in. Stark. Anyone on comms?"

Wanda: "Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?"

Hyperion then got serious as he turned to Steve.

Hyperion: "I have a bad feeling that kid's right."

Steve: *nods* "Let's go."
