15 Defeating the Avengers

"Repulsors and thrusters have taken considerable damage Sir." Tony Stark slowly got up as he staggered to his feet in the armor. "Thanks for the reminder Jarvis, and who's the new guy?" He asked with a groan.

"Searching database Sir....unknown.." Tony Stark was stupefied for a moment. "Uhhh...o-okay, and what about our speedy little kid over there, what sort of species is he?" He slowly walked to Natasha and Clint, before jolting them awake with his repulsors.

"Sir, His DNA seems human, but his molecular structure is on a while different level compared to humans. Also there's an X gene within his body, but it's recessive." The AI replied as Stark sighed.

"Nat, what do you know about our little speedy friend over there." Tony Stark asked as Natasha stood up with a groan.

"His full name is Duke Evander Holland, but he goes by Azazel. He's a criminal mastermind and from what I was told, he gained some sort of speed type power after he went into a coma due to the particle accelerator explosion." She briefed him as he kicked Barton which caused him to groan and get up shortly.

"So he's not fully human, has a recessive mutant gene, what in the world is he then? And who's the guy in the blue spandex with the shield?" Stark asked in exasperation.

"Steve Rogers. Captain America. Slept in the ocean for seventy years..." Natasha said as she raised her eyebrows.

"That's enough surprises for today. I'm gonna have a talk with Fury after this." Stark said as he watched the two men face off.

"Bang!" The man with the shield, aka Captain America rushed forward, as he flung his shield forward with frightening accuracy and terrifying strength towards Duke.

Duke spun around, and kicked the shield back towards him, as Captain America caught it and rushed towards Duke.

"Bam!Bam!" The two men clashed in close combat, with Captain America executing deadly combos with his shield, as well as several punches and kicks, as Duke dodged all the attacks with relative ease.

Appearing behind him in a flash, Duke smashed his fist towards his back, as Cap turned around immediately and smashed his fist towards him, however Duke disappeared and reappeared behind him once more and kicked out, sending the soldier flying a couple of meters away.

"You're very strong Santa Claus.." Duke chuckled as lightning crackled across his body and eyes. In a split second, he blasted forward with a burst of lightning and appeared before Cap, as he smashed his body into his which sent the soldier flying once more.

"Sir, mission successful." Samantha instantly alerted him, as a smile crept upon his face.

"Lead them out and let them leave Samantha." He smiled and said.

"Cap are you alright?" Soon Natasha, Clint and Stark appeared beside Captain America, as they glared at Duke who had a smile on his face.

"Stark. If we attack him together, can we deal with him?" "Maybe, but that will require a flawless teamwork on our side, something we lack as of now." Clint asked as he prepared to shoot.

"We can't fight him by ourselves, he's too strong, the only we stand a chance is together. Stark, cover his right flank, Nat, behind him, Clint, left flank, I'll distract him long enough." Captain America wiped the blood off his lips and said as he grabbed unto his shield.

"Wait. Who made you team leader?" Stark raised an eyebrow. "Here he comes!" They readied themselves, as Duke blasted forward towards them, leaving a sonic boom in his wake. "Go!" The four of them appeared at their respective positions, and attacked Duke at once. Stark fired out a huge blast from the repulsor in his chest, while Nat forced multiple electric needles towards Duke.

Clint also shot three explosive arrows towards Duke, as Cap flung his shield forward, with all of his strength.

'Amazing teamwork. Unfortunately their opponent is me.' Duke smirked as he immediately sped up his perception, causing time to slow down to a crawl around him.

Immediately he blasted forward, accompanied by a sonic boom, and a burst of lightning, before dodging Stark's massive energy beam and rushing towards him.

"Bam!Bam!" He unleashed several punches in the blink of an eye unto the armor, with each punch causing the metal armor to cave in, before turning around and running towards Clint.

He dodged all the three arrows carefully, before appearing behind him and thrusting his finger coated with lightning unto his nape.

The next instant, he rushed towards Natasha, plucked all the electrified needles out of the way with his bare hands and poked her on the nape as well, with an electrified finger.

After all this, he rushed towards Cap, grabbed the grabbed the shield and redirected it to him with enough momentum to instantly shatter a metal plate into pieces like glass.

After doing all this, retuned to his position, as time retuned to normal.

"Bang!Bang! Bang!!" Tony Stark was sent flying with dents, about the size of a fist on his armor. Clint and Natasha instantly collapsed to the ground, as Cap was sent flying by his own shield.

SHIELD helicarrier....

Nick Fury, along with several agents of SHIELD looked on in horror, seeing two of their best agents, a super powered human with extraordinary strength and combat skills, as well as a genius in a futuristic robotic suit get completely destroyed in a span of a second or even less.

"Sir, there's something you ought to see." Suddenly, an agent rushed towards Fury with an iPad in hand as he prompted him with urgency.

However, Fury completely stood there gobsmacked, his eyes still fixated on the screen, as he glared at the figure who stood tall amidst all the defeated opponents.

"Sir, it's concerning the Tesseract." The agent said in urgency, as Fury finally turned around and looked at him.

He instantly asked to the agent grabbed the iPad and watched the video, as his frown deepened even further.

"And who is the new threat?" Fury asked murderously.

"They call him Loki, Sir, he claims to be a God." The agent replied.

"So the Tesseract wasn't with Azazel after all?" Fury asked the agent who broke out in cold sweat.

"Jesus Christ, I almost signed a death warrant for myself." Fury took a step back, as he sat in his chair with a hint of fear on his face.

All this while, he had thought Duke was the one with the Tesseract, so he had plotted and instructed Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, to hire and direct him to Stark Tower, where he would be ambushed by Stark, Cap, Clint and Nat. Not only did the plan fail, from the looks of it, he seemed to have ended up on Azazel's kill list...

A/N: Hope you liked the chapter. Anyways, I've got this brilliant idea for a ff, I plan to call it the Arc angel's heir. A story about a boy who was the son of Lucifer Morningstar and a mutant, in a marvel and Dc crossover universe. What do guys think? Comment and let me know and give me some ideas as well.
