101 Chapter 90

Joshua landed in the middle of the ground with his white wings spread like an angel and the luminous golden glow that surrounded his whole body was making him look like a spitting image of a messiah. 

It took them more than 10 seconds to understand what or who he was. They looked at him with various reactions, shock, relief, hope, fear and lastly, someone looked at him with loyalty and devotion.

They didn't even notice that the guy who had just a minute ago been at the death door stopped screaming. 

" It's y...you " said The base commander who was lying on the ground.

" Silence you bastard," Brian said and used his powers to kill the commander. The commander started to scream.

But before he could die Joshua used his own power to save him. 

" Milord? " Brain asked with a questioning look. 

Joshua looked at Brian for the first time and then telekinetically pulled Brian's body toward him. Brian's movements were restricted and he was suspended in the air in front of Joshua. 

Joshua put his hand on his head and Brian felt a strong mental intrusion, he felt that he was completely naked, stripped of his every secret, and Thought. If it was anyone else that person would have found it horrifying but Brian found it exhilarating, for him it was like truly submitting to his god. 

When Joshua was truly assured of Brian's loyalty and the circumstances regarding it, he internally felt pity toward Brian and healed most of his mental scars. Joshua left some of the mental scars intact as they were supposed to be healed by the person himself and by doing so that person will truly release his full power and potential. It was necessary for self-growth. 

But Joshua did not let the feeling of pity show on his face. Instead, he showed a full face of anger and slammed Brian into the ground so hard that it created a huge Crater on the ground.

No one understood Joshua's actions, maybe except Brian as he has a guess why his God was doing this. 

" How dare you? " Joshua asked Brain in an eerily cold tone that sent a chill to everyone's spine. 

" They.. huff…. Are traitors, Milord. Huff… I did …Huff….. the right thing. They deserve …huff… punishment and I…huff…Delivered it. They all are imbeciles that decided to betray the mercy you showed them, they decided to betray our race, and they bit the hand that fed them. They committed heresy and that is a crime. " 

Brian answered with an unseen zeal and pure devotion in his eyes. 

" And who appointed you as my executioner? " Joshua asked in the same cold tone. 

By now the people Understood that Joshua was angry at Brian for killing their fellow members. Knowing this they finally feel relieved that they are saved. 

" No one did, But someone has to do the Job, Milord. I have seen it in your eyes, The eyes that are full of mercy, love, and Care for your people. You, Milord, are someone who will get angry on your race's behalf. You would have simply forgiven them if they just asked for it, and even if you had punished them it wouldn't have been so hard, you would have killed them painlessly. 

I mean, you are here even when these bastards and a lowlife like myself betrayed your trust and traded paradise for this hell, yet you are here to save us. You are here to lend us your hand once more to rise, you are here to save us once again, to save us sinners.

So Someone was needed to do the unholy, someone was needed to punish the sinners. 

So I, a devoted follower of yours, decided to do the deed. "

Joshua was stunned because the same word was spoken to him by both Mary and Sebastian. Joshua knew he loved the Elysian race and yes what Brian said was somewhat true, he was even thinking of reviving this person once this was over. 

" And why are you so sure of this? I may have even come to kill all of you so that you don't spill my secrets. " Joshua asked with a cold face without letting his emotions out. 

" Hahahahahaha….. You are a very funny Milord. 

You came here to kill them. 

Milord if you were here to kill them you couldn't have stopped me, they would have been already dead. 

And what information, even if they spilled out everything, no one has done anything to you, I saw those hoardings and banners, you are the darling of humans. 

Those that kill do not try to heal the traitors like you are trying right now, I can see their vitals are improving. Milord those that kill do not try to make children forget their trauma. 

You might have to kill maybe more horribly than me but not of your own kind, You may have killed but all of that was for the betterment of the Elysian race. 

You are here to kill Milord, do not jest me. 

You are a godly being, the messiah of an oppressed race, the god of Elysians. The benevolent one, the good one, the gracious, the revolution, and the hope. I knew for a fact that now you are thinking of reviving them, it's in your eyes and I can see it. 

But there is one thing Milord that you are forgetting. That EVEN GOD NEEDS A DEVIL. To punish the sinners, A devil is needed.

And I graciously accept that position. You might hate me, scorn me, curse me and I will take it all for eternity thinking it is your blessing. But I will be the darkness that will put your fear in them, I will be the sword that will execute them, I will be the devil who will rule hell for you. " 

Joshua doesn't know what to say or how he should react because Brian was hitting the Nail.

" What did you say your name was? " 

" The one with the name died a few moments ago, Now in front of you stood your eternal servant, 

So I humbly request you to grant me a name. " 

Joshua didn't know what happened to him but he blurted out a name that would become the most feared in the universe.
