[ Option 2: Illumination Boost (Rank: E) (Passive) - Enhances the flashlight's overall brightness, extending the reach of its illumination by 50%. ]

[ Durability: 100% ]

As the UV flashlight's reach extended with its increased brightness, more vampires succumbed to the burning light. Suddenly, the building's sprinklers activated, surprising Oliver as cold water cascaded down. A vampire seized the opportunity and clawed at Oliver's back, but the suit's Dyneema fabric held strong, allowing Oliver to swiftly retrieve a stake. Activating its divine power, the wooden stake shimmered with a golden hue, intensifying its effect against the vampires.

The sudden downpour from the sprinklers turned the vampire assailants' advantage into a weakness. Moon Knight, muttering incantations, blessed the water with the power of Konshu, the Egyptian moon god. The blessed water burned the vampires, though these were no ordinary foes—they were elite, able to withstand the initial burning. Undeterred, they pressed their attack, but Oliver, now soaked from head to toe, stood ready with his stake.

A different Moon Knight entered the fray, larger and with a full symbol on his forehead—Hunter's Moon. The vampires found themselves surrounded by these four formidable foes: Moon Knight, Tigra, Hunter's Moon, and Oliver, his muscles glistening in the dampness of the sprinklers. Even with their combined might, the vampires remained a formidable force, their ancient strength and cunning not to be underestimated.

[ Name: Sacred Oak Piercer ]

[ Grade: Green (Peak) ]

[ Description: Crafted from the venerable oak tree that graced the church's sacred grounds, this wooden stake has been intricately carved and honed to a razor-sharp point. The presence of the cross symbol, etched with divine reverence, marks it as a weapon against the supernatural. ]

[ Option 1: Divine Penetration (Rank: E) (Active) - Infuse the stake with holy energy, allowing it to pierce through supernatural defenses with a +55% effectiveness. ]

[ Option 2: Sacred Warding (Rank: E) (Passive) - Grants a protective aura that reduces incoming supernatural attacks by 50%. ]

[ Durability: 98% ]

One by one, the vampires fell to their combined onslaught. Oliver's stake, empowered by divine energy, pierced through their supernatural defenses with deadly accuracy. With each strike, the vampires crumbled into ash, their ancient forms no match for the sacred power imbued in the wooden weapon.

Soon, only the four vampire slayers remained amidst the scattered ashes. Hunter's Moon turned to Oliver, a look of respect in his eyes, before nodding at Moon Knight and Tigra. "We need to talk," he said solemnly, before turning and leaving the scene.

Tigra, meanwhile, dragged in a human she had found amidst the chaos. "This one is a human," she stated, her gaze unintentionally wandering up Oliver's imposing figure. From his muscular legs to his well-defined abs and symmetrical face, she couldn't help but notice his physical prowess. However, a single cough from Moon Knight brought her back to reality, and she realized she might have been staring a bit too long.

Moon Knight then strode towards Oliver, his voice dripping with a dark warning. "You can hunt as many vampires as you want, but stay the hell away from my people, otherwise you will know what it's like to be hunted by the moon." The threat hung heavy in the air, but to Oliver, it didn't carry the weight Moon Knight intended. Oliver stared back, contemplating a response, but chose silence. Engaging with someone as unpredictable as Moon Knight seemed fruitless; Oliver had read enough about him to know that sanity wasn't his strong suit. Fighting a madman was a losing game.

"As long as they don't harm me, I won't seek them out," Oliver finally replied, his voice steady as he turned away, making his way toward the fallen tutor. Snap went his vampire fangs, a show of dominance and warning.

As he turned, he caught Moon Knight's soft scoff, a sound meant to go unnoticed but one that grated on Oliver's nerves. Pausing mid-step, Oliver pivoted back to face Moon Knight. "Don't test me, or even your skeleton bird of a god won't save you," he shot back, the threat laced with his own brand of danger. Moon Knight's hand went to his crescent-shaped knives, ready to strike. In response, Oliver stood tall, his hand resting on the hilt of the Marrow Devourer at his waist.

The bone weapon, drawn from its sheath, sliced through the air with a menacing whisper. Moon Knight recognized the danger; any seasoned killer would. Tension crackled between them, a deadly dance of readiness.

"Boys, boys, come on. After we've slaughtered a bunch of vampire elites, haven't we had enough death for one night?" Tigra's voice cut through the tension as she appeared between the two, a barrier preventing further escalation.

With a sigh, Moon Knight relented, sheathing his knives. Tigra's intervention diffused the situation, and she turned to Oliver, giving him a knowing look before leaving with a sway of her hips. Oliver watched her departure, bemusement flickering across his features.

"Why do all women give me that look?" Oliver muttered to himself, genuinely puzzled. It seemed to be a common reaction from the women he encountered, a mix of curiosity and something more, though he couldn't quite place it. Shrugging it off, he refocused on the task at hand.

"Well, anyways, it's time I give that adamantium shield some options," Oliver mused aloud as he made his way back to his shell home.

Inside the shell home, Oliver changed into casual clothes before setting to work. The air around him shimmered with a thin, semi-transparent membrane, a protective barrier as he held the black and silver shield. Running his fingers over its surface, he marveled at its resilience.

"Huh, on top of the shield itself being invulnerable, the options themselves are amazing," Oliver murmured to himself, admiring the intricate designs etched into the shield's surface. It was a formidable weapon, enhanced further by the magical properties he was about to infuse it with.

Gathering a small ingot of adamantium, antimetal, and the blood of the Marrow God and Adana, Oliver prepared the mixture. Adding powdered demonic horns, vampire blood, werewolf blood from Vanahiem, and a drop of blood from the red Asgardian dragon, he combined them all in a 1-cubic meter crucible. The crucible, surrounded by a high green hue, possessed passive options: one to trap heat inside, raising the internal temperature, and another for perfect melding of materials.

But Oliver didn't start heating it just yet. He needed one more ingredient, a more magical material to complete the process.

Author's Note: Well, here's another chapter. Hopefully, you guys enjoy it. Anyways, there will be more interactions with Moon Knight, but it might not end as it did. (Also, who do you think will win? Oliver, who is using all his items, or the three?). And no, I am not making him an anime protagonist-level dense. It's just going to take some time before he actually embraces and learns to use his looks for some benefits (like seducing a certain mutant to get his hands on some mutant metal). So, he won't remain like that. Heck, you might even see him actively flirting with women.

P.S.: I have recently been watching the Arrow series, and I finally convinced myself to write a fanfic on the Arrowverse. It's about a guy who is, of course, reincarnated into that world, but he has a passive skill system which allows him to earn passive skills. If, let's say, he gets punched in the face, he might get a passive skill that reduces incoming physical damage. What do you guys think? Of course, I am not releasing it until I have 50 chapters, nor will I drop my ongoing fanfic.
