Summoning

( 3rd POV )

Inside one of the typical white rooms in Chaldea, several people had already gathered upon receiving a notice from Da Vinci. A woman with purple hair appeared occupied with a tablet in her hand, while another woman with white hair frowned and tapped her foot impatiently. The lone man in the room wore a weary expression, his black eye socket adding to his worn appearance.

"Director, could I get some sleep after we're done here? I've been running around doing all your assignments and haven't had proper rest for the past couple of days..." The man in the lab coat pleaded with the white-haired woman.

The woman, whom he addressed as the Director, spared him only a glance with a disdainful eye before responding irritably. "Hmph! You just want to laze around and indulge in your filthy habits, don't you!? Just because you navigated Chaldea well in the past doesn't mean I've forgiven you. Your redemption arc has just begun, Solomon!"

"But Director Olga, I'm just a human now..." He attempted to plead and change her mind, but his request was sadly declined. "So? Go grab some coffee and get back to work!" Olga retorted nonchalantly.

Briefed by Da Vinci and Sion about the Grand Order situation, Olga was feeling particularly angry, especially upon learning that the whole debacle was caused by the very man pleading beside her. Recalling her deception by the green bastard and being thrown into CHALDEAS core fueled her fury and desire for revenge, though he was already dead.

Despite holding a grudge against the man beside her, Olga came to understand that when he learned about the incineration of humanity, he was already human and powerless to act. He had performed admirably as a temporary director and, in his final moments, redeemed himself by setting things right.

Nevertheless, she still felt slightly irritated by his irresponsibility, hence subjecting the former king of magecraft to a punishing work schedule for her own satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Sion, having finished checking everything on her tablet in the summoning room, merely glanced at them before adding further criticism towards the unfortunate man. "Heh, he deserves it."

Seeing that Olga didn't change her mind and hearing Sion's comment on his side, the king of magecraft felt that the world was full of malice. He could only smile wryly and accept Olga's punishment for him, as he himself felt indirectly responsible for her death.

As they were just about to finish their conversation, the door to the summoning room opened and a few individuals entered from the outside. It was Ken, Da Vinci, and Mash, who were holding the little mascot of Chaldea.

"Sorry for the wait and the sudden notice, everyone," Ken said as he walked towards them.

"You better start explaining now, Ken," Olga immediately commanded upon their arrival.

"Geez, Olga. I think you should calm down. You've been acting like your past self since yesterday's meeting, and honestly, it's irritating for me and it will only cloud your judgment," Sion reprimanded her fellow friend about her attitude, putting down her tablet.

Olga, hearing her words, felt dumbstruck by the sudden comment, found herself momentarily speechless. In all of Chaldea, not many people dared to speak to her like that. Only Sion, Kirschtaria, and Ken had the guts to do so. The first two were because they were geniuses hailed in the magus world and the future lords of their respective families, while Ken was because of his nonchalant and blunt personality, but of course, it was also because of his background. She didn't want to upset one of the magicians in the world after all.

"Hmm? Maybe she's on her period, Sion. Don't be too harsh on her," Ken replied in a joking tone, sporting a small grin on his face.

Olga's cheeks flushed crimson, a potent mix of anger and embarrassment threatening to overwhelm her. "Y-y-you..." she stammered, momentarily lost for words.

Seeing that the situation was almost getting out of control, Romani tried to calm them down and redirect the conversation back to the topic. "Okay, guys, I think that's enough for the chit-chat. So, Ken, we've heard from Da Vinci that you can awaken the Team A coffins and have a feeling of connection towards the Fate system. Now that we're all here, could you provide a detailed explanation?"

"Hmph!"

"Rather than trying to explain such a confusing thing, why don't I just directly show you?" Ken replied to Romani, walking past them and heading towards the center of the summoning rooms.

"He wants to directly try to summon the servant?" Romani murmured after seeing what Ken was about to do. The other people in the room decided to gather just a few feet away and watch Ken's actions from a distance.

Ken walked towards the center of the room before stopping right in front of a large summoning circle. He apparently stared at the magic circle for a while before shifting his focus towards the floating screen in his mind. "Let's do this..." he whispered.

[ Inventory

- Saint Quartz Fragment 1×

- 70.000 Quantum Piece

- The player old account:

• Golden Apple 8×

• Cu Chulainn servant card

• Euryale servant card

• Saito Hajime servant card

• etc... ]

I was engrossed in my system inventory, scrolling through it meticulously, searching for specific servants I had decided to summon since this morning.

I also noticed that last night, when I was checking the Fate system, the Da Vinci Rider card from my past account seemed to have disappeared from my inventory. So, I guessed that it was integrated with Da Vinci herself the moment she arrived and was resurrected in this world.

Not only her card, but cards from servants with multiple classes also disappeared, uniting into a single card, consolidating their powers to their peak in life without class restrictions. For example, Cú Chulainn and Medusa.

'If I summon Cu, then he will have both of his capabilities as a Lancer and Caster at the same time. So, I guess there are no more overlapping servants with different saint graphs. But what about an Alter?'

As I continued to ponder the possibilities and lost in contemplation, I was startled by the voice of a certain lavender-haired girl behind me. "Senpai, do you need my shield as a catalyst?" she inquired.

"This summoning will be different from what I can feel, so I don't need it for now, Mash," I replied, slightly turning my head toward her.

We used to use Mash's shield as a catalyst since it's a part of the Round Table, acting as "a place where heroes gather." But I didn't need it anymore since my system itself was a similar replica of the FGO game

.

"Okay, let's start then," I said after finding the three servants that I would summon. These three, while not at the highest ceiling in terms of power, had the most practical abilities at the moment.

"Are we sure it's going to work? We've tested it several times, and it yielded no results..."

"Well, put some faith in him. He has been showing us that the impossible becomes possible as long as he is doing it, after all."

"You've put a lot of faith in him, Da Vinci..."

I heard a lot of gossiping behind my back, but I ignored it as I started to concentrate my mind and activate my Third Magic as the fuel. A gust of wind blew out from me, and a blue-white kind of energy crackled around me, similar to a scene where one uses a mana burst. I began chanting the incantation, just like those masters in the Fate anime.

"Let silver and steel be the essence,

Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation,

Let blue be the color I pay tribute to,

The alighted wind becomes a wall.

The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate.

I hereby declare,

Your body shall serve under me,

My fate shall be your sword,

Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail

If you will submit to this will and this reason…

Then answer!

An oath shall be sworn here!

I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven,

I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell!

From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three greet words of power,

Come forth from the ring of restraints,

Protector of the Holy Balance!"

The giant summoning circle responded, its intricate lines aglow with a brilliance that forced several onlookers to shield their eyes. My command spell on my right hand also glowed intensely before I felt a new connection in it. As the intense light gradually subsided, three distinct figures materialized within the circle, each emanating a unique aura.

"Did it work...?" a hushed voice from behind inquired, echoing my own uncertainty.

The first figure appeared to be a man donned in a red coat with golden ornamentations on its shoulders, his face bearing a tremendously sour and confused expression. He was a tall man in his early thirties with long loose hair, seeming to analyze his current situation before setting his gaze at me.

The second figure appeared to be a woman with flowing purple locks tied back into a ponytail. Clad in a form-fitting black bodysuit and adorned with a white skull mask, she surveyed her surroundings with a discerning eye before directing her attention towards me and kneeling before me.

The last figure was also a woman, but the difference was she wore an ancient red armor around her body, had long black hair, and a katana on her side. While her armor was quite revealing, showing her prominently ideal body, she herself didn't seem to mind and instead locked her eyes with me before kneeling like the previous one.

"Ryougi Ken, please elucidate why I find myself suddenly transported to this place?"" the man asked with a serious tone, ignoring the two women kneeling beside him.

"Master Ken, it is an honor to be in your presence once more," the woman with purple hair said respectfully before removing her white skull mask.

"Ken-sama, we've met again. This time, my swords will be at your service! So please don't hesitate to use me!" the last woman exclaimed, her voice brimming with enthusiasm as she eagerly awaited my directive.

But I wasn't focusing on them at the moment; instead, I was staring at their status on my system right now.

Hassan of the Hundred Faces is a single entity, but she possesses a compartmentalized soul and multiple personalities that allow her to divide her spiritual potential to materialize up to eighty different Servants. Though limited by her physical body during life, her thousand souls are now free of such limitations as a spiritual entity, and as each segment can materialize as an individual, they can all be materialized simultaneously in different shapes.

Each one is its own separate entity, and the only shared characteristics are their skull masks, black cloaks and race. Their body sizes can be giant, slim, short as children, and some can even be women or man. They each have their own will, personality, strengths, and weaknesses, and although they are against unnecessary sacrifice, losing one without a specific strength does not directly affect the whole of the others more than losing a finger.

All existences of Hassan of the Hundred Faces are equal, none of them created or designated as a superior or subordinate of one another nor is any a "real form" or a "offshoot" of the whole. Despite any drawbacks, if one can comprehend their characteristics and apply their skills in the right situations, Hassan of the Hundred Faces can be a very dangerous Servant.

Noble Phantasm:

1. Wandering Tales of Shana-oh

Rank: EX

Type: Anti-Unit (Self)

Range: 1

Maximum Targets: 1 person

Wandering Tales of Shana-oh is the embodiment of numerous legends that were born after Ushiwakamaru became Minamoto no Yoshitsune and traveled to Oshu. This Noble Phantasm comprises five secret techniques.

First, Eye of Shiva - Detecting the Six Secret Teachings. It forcibly relocates everyone on the field. It creates an overwhelming advantage for allies, and puts enemies at a staggering disadvantage. Second, Usumidori - Heavenly Blade Steps. It is a brilliant slash using her sword Usumidori. This attack, delivered after a Shukuchi footwork of the Tengu's, is difficult to avoid. Third, Benkei - Steadfast Position. It recreates an imitation of Musashibou Benkei's body alone. The more faith Ushiwakamaru has in Benkei, the stronger the body is, making it a sturdy shield. It can block up to B-rank Anti-Army Noble Phantasms.

Fourth, Dan-no-Ura - Eight-Boat Leap. It is the manifestation of the feat of leaping eight boats that Yoshitsune displayed at Dan-no-ura. No matter how difficult the terrain, leaping movements are possible as long as there is even the slightest foothold. This technique also enhances Ushiwakamaru's jumping power. Ushiwakamaru is shown to create seven clones of herself when using Dan-no-Ura - Eight-Boat Leap. Lastly, Hoemaru - Spider Slayer. It unleashes Usumidori's true power. It repels demons in the area, and deals additional sonic damage.

2. Tengu's Feather Fan - Sudden Gale

Rank: B

Type: Anti-Army

Range: 1 - 30

Maximum Targets: 300 people

A reenactment of one of the many secret techniques developed from play at Mt. Kurama, from "The playful Tales of Shana-oh." It recreates the games Shana-oh played during her training days, and just like "The Wandering Tales of Shana-oh," there are numerous other moves recorded. This particular Noble Phantasm is a game that uses the fan she stole from her master. Its main effect is to whip up violent winds, but a tengu's fan is also said to possess other abilities, such as creating doubles, granting the owner flight and extremely rapid movement, controlling fire, and exorcising evil...]

'Just as I expected, all of them are truly resurrected as human beings in their prime form. Even both of my Ushiwakamaru class cards got fused together, but how the hell does she look more mature compared to the one in Babylonia? She looks alike to Taira...'

Well, I guess it's not a big deal. I feel relieved that the summoning is working. All three of them are my personal choice in our current situation. I don't want to risk summoning divine beings or demigods in this world without knowing if there are consequences for now.

"Senpai, it's working! Congratulations!" The voice of my favorite kouhai can be heard by me. She seems surprised and happy for the result of the summoning; she can meet her former ally after all.

"Woah, it's actually working?"

"SHEBA and the FATE system are running normally, so it's not the system's fault all along..."

"Fufufu, sasuga my master!"

"Fou! Fou!"

All of them are now by my side, watching the whole summoning ritual and marveling that the Fate system is actually working, albeit only if I'm the only one who uses it.

The newcomers have confused faces, especially the sour-looking uncle. I understand, being surrounded by people staring at you like you're an animal in a zoo is somehow uncomfortable after all.

"Well, everyone, it's nice to see all of you again and I know you guys have a lot of questions, but first, I would like to welcome you to the Chaldea Security Organization..." I said with enthusiasm shown on my face. Finally, our first step in this new world is about to begin.
