Here We Go Again

A/N: Hello, it's your trashy author delivering another story to this site. I just want to warn you that I only write this story for fun while I'm free, so don't expect too much from it.

I've only written the first three chapters, but if this one gets a lot of support from you, maybe I'll continue to update this story.

Thank you for your attention, and if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment. But for now, let's get started!!!

( 3rd POV )

As he entered his bedroom, a sigh escaped the lips of the young man, his voice tinged with weariness. With a casual toss, his backpack landed on the bed, a tangible symbol of his day's burdens. Crossing the room, he settled into his gaming chair, the familiar creak of its worn upholstery accompanying his movements, and powered up his computer.

"Yesterday was such a bad day," he murmured softly, his words a lamentation for the trials he endured.

The weight of familial expectations pressed upon him, their incessant demands echoing in his mind. "They know I'm already quite busy with college and my part-time job," he muttered to himself, frustration evident in his tone. "But their words... they're like a goddamn venom, seeping into my soul." The memory of his family's scrutinizing gazes at yesterday's gathering loomed large in his thoughts.

Lost in his reverie, he absentmindedly navigated his computer, his fingers moving with the familiarity born of routine. With a decisive click, he launched his game, seeking solace in its digital realms.

The screen changed as the game loaded, and the young man continued venting his emotions.

"What is even worse was that yesterday, I couldn't even finish the Babylonia Singularity. Because I was a free-to-play player, my servants, consisting of a few 5-stars and the average 4- and 3-star characters, always got wiped out.

I mean, come on, dude! I just want to enjoy the goddamn story! Why are the developers making these last two singularities so hard!? What a bunch of money grubbers..." The man sighed with resignation as he talked about the gacha game he had been playing for the last two months, Fate/Grand Order.

At first, he was not a hardcore fan of the Fate series, but after seeing a few anime and movies about it, he somehow got intrigued by their so-called Noble Phantasms, as a few of his friends also mentioned them in the past.

He was fascinated and always got goosebumps whenever he saw them release their treasure. Because of that, he tried to learn about the series that had a connection to the so-called Nasuverse, but eventually gave up. He felt that everything about the series was too complicated, especially their magic system and the so-called Root, Alaya, and Gaia. So, in the end, he only chose to play FGO for the sake of the story and some of the waifus in it.

As the loading screen finished and the FGO game started, the young man quickly navigated his mouse and clicked the summons menu.

"I don't have any intention to buy the Saint Quartz ever while playing this game, but you are forcing me to, damn it! Just for this once, I will put everything on my credit card to buy the SQ and try to summon my mommy Morgan!!!" He immediately bought hundreds of SQ while draining whatever he had left on his credit card. A month's salary just gone like that...

After checking that he finally had a lot of SQ on his account, he immediately clicked on the Morgan summon banners and used up 30 SQ to summon her.

"God, Goddess, ROB, or whoever is listening, please grant this poor soul your blessing! Here we go!!" he shouted fervently, his voice a plea to the unseen forces. As he prayed, his heart pounded with anticipation, his hopes soaring despite the odds stacked against him.

The summoning circle on the screen flickered to life in response to his invocation, its vibrant hues dancing before his eyes. Yet, as the ritual unfolded, disappointment washed over him like a wave crashing against the shore. Once again, luck eluded him, leaving behind a trail of mundane offerings – 3-4-star Craft Essences and familiar 3-star servants like Robin Hood and Jing Ke.

The man stared blankly at the screen before letting out a shout. "Arrrgghhhh!!! Do it again, damn it!!!"

He continued several times, but to no avail. He continued to get a bunch of useless CEs with the same servants that he already had, like Euryale, Cu Chulainn, Carmilla, or Martha.

"Wrrryyyy!!!??? It's been my 50th pull, goddamn it! Why isn't it working!?" he lamented, his voice tinged with desperation. He felt like the world's evil was targeting him from yesterday until now.

He clicked the summoning option once again, seeing a lot of familiar cards before finally, the screen lit up with a thunder crackling on the summoning circle. "Oh!!! Will it finally be my lucky day!?" He stared at the screen with red eyes as excitement could be seen on them.

The golden cards finally revealed themselves, but instead of a Berserker-class mommy, he got a Rider-class shota. "Fuck! Why are you the one who came, NEMO!" The young man cursed while pulling his hair in frustration, slowly gaining a madness enhancement.

"One more time!"

The young man kept losing himself in the deep shit hole called the gacha game. He managed to pull servants like Hercules and Enkidu after a few more rounds, but his face still didn't show a happy expression.

"Why...? Why are you a brute bastard and a genderless chain that come out... Where is my mommy... Give me my mommy!!!" he pleaded, his voice a desperate cry in the digital void.

After his long bad day, he had suffered outside, he hoped that he would have a bit of happiness when he started playing the game and got his waifu after 3-5 pulls. But reality slapped him like a bitch, and his last hope also got extinguished as a Berserker-class card revealed a man donned in a hood holding a crimson spear with a black tail on his butt.

"Son of a bitch..." The man tried to curse while feeling dizzy, but suddenly, he fell unconscious.

He never expected that after feeling pressured by his family and others outside, his frustration finally couldn't be bottled up anymore and it affected his health. When added by the feeling of disbelief and disappointment from the last gacha, the young man finally died from a heart attack, and a blood vessel in his brain burst. He would never wake up in his world again after this day.

( ??? POV )

'Urgh... Where am I...?'

The echo of my own voice reverberated in the white-painted room, its starkness contrasting with the scattered medical tools that cluttered the space.

'Why am I on the bed? Did I lose consciousness...?'

Struggling to push myself upright, I surveyed the room, noting its emptiness. Was I in a hospital?

My eyes drifted towards a large full-body mirror, curiosity tugging at my senses. With tentative steps, I approached, my reflection revealing a man vastly different from my former self.

'Huh...!?'

The man in the mirror stood tall at 186 cm, clad in a black jacket over a white T-shirt. Black jeans adorned his lower half, and he appeared to be barefoot. The ensemble exuded a classic yet fashionable aura, despite the lack of footwear.

His hair was styled in a neck-length, spiky fashion, reminiscent of characters from anime. But what captivated my attention the most were his eyes — deep blue irises tinged with hints of purple at the center, exuding a mysterious yet captivating allure.

'What the heck just happened to me? Did I get reincarnated into this handsome body just because I fell unconscious while playing Fate/Grand Order?'

The last thing I remembered before losing consciousness was being in front of my computer, playing that cursed gacha game and failing to summon my desired "mommy" waifu.

Suddenly, something appeared before my eyes as I pondered over the game. I shifted my focus to the hologram, and a barrage of new information flooded my mind.

"Argh...!!!"

A growl escaped my lips as I clutched my head in agony. My brain felt as though it was being fried as it attempted to process the sudden influx of information.

As I teetered on the brink of unconsciousness once more, I caught a glimpse of a beautiful girl with lavender hair and glasses entering the medical room. Worry etched across her face as she gazed in my direction.

"Ken-senpai!"

With that, I surrendered to the encroaching darkness once again.
