CHAPTER 25:GIFT

BAXTER BUILDING POV

"Umm. Is it me or should we leave this building or search for a new place to live in? I mean how many times have villains and other psychos tried to invade and attack our living place?" Valerie asks her brother Franklin as they both see how some of the Avengers and their parent are now destroying some enormous Doombot outside the buildings.

"I agree. How do X-Men handle this? Their home has been invaded so many times like once every week." Franklin said as he just want to use his power to erase these huge robots.

They had just to invade when he and his sister want to play a game of Spider-Man they found online on their tablet.

Right? His parent wants him to live like a normal kid.

Yeah. That is a statement of the year and century when you can create a pocket dimension easily on your bed.

But then they hear the theme song of Spiderman near them.

"We shut off the tablet right?" He asks his sister who nods her head as they look at the black screen of their tablet.

"Then where did that song come from?" Valerie asks until a drive appears near them as they see a drone that takes the shape of The Advanced X1 from Star Wars.

"Hey, there my greatest fans. Heard you guys missed me?" From the drone, a hologram can be seen as they see the face of their favourite person and hero.

"Uncle Peter!" They shouted until they backed away.

"Wait. Is this another doing of that Doom guy?" Valerie asks as they know that their Uncle Peter died.

"Oh. I know you thought I died. Guess what I am not. Well, I am very sure you guys will not believe me so that is why I am going to give you guys something that will prove to me that I am Peter Benjamin Parker, one that entertains you guys whenever I visited Baxter Building." The drone then drops something as Franklin issues see a pair of gauntlet as his eyes widen seeing what they are.

After all, those are what they want from their favourite superhero.

"Those are your web-shooters. And since you both want a pair that has your face and mine on them, well here they are. Wear them. I assure you there is nothing harmful to them. Until we meet again kids. Ciao." The drone then fell as Valerie picked it up as stared at it in wonder.

"So want to test them?" She asks his sister.

"Obviously. But after we got ourselves alone time that no one bothers to monitor us." Franklin whispered to his sister.

And as always Doombot gets destroyed with Doctor Doom said he always get revenge again.

"Isn't he tired of repeating those sentences? I mean Doom will come back again and have the revenge. My ears are bleeding hearing those sentences for the thousand times." Franklin mutter to his sister.

"You know how that guy is. Always want to get what he wants at all cost only to fail." Valerie replied as they both get enveloped by their parent.

After making sure they are safe with Reed Richards to restore the security system and increase it tenfold the parent received a call from the X-Men team who are with Johnny and Ben.

"I wonder what they are shouting about. Dad sound surprised. Mum meanwhile sound sad and surprised too." Franklin said as he and his sister are on their bed.

Of course, like other kids, their room is full of toys but most of them are based after Spiderman.

Even a poster of Spiderman is on the wall with him swinging.

"Probably someone gets injured again. I mean some of the Avengers are being almost killed by that Zero." Valerie said as she is looking at the drone in wonder.

"Oh, that guy who killed those bad mutants. Wonder who is his victim is?" Franklin said as he then open the door to peek outside to see if his parents are near the bedroom.

He then closes it back and looks at his sister.

"Val, do your thing. Check if our parent has indeed left this building." He said toward his sister who is smarter than him.

While he has powers Valerie did not have one but still, she has a brain to back her up. She without a doubt is smarter than him.

"Okay," Valerie said as she open the tablet to hack the building CCTV to see if their parent have indeed has gone away.

"Sweet. They are gone." Valerie said as they both smiled as they quickly get out of their room and enter the elevator.

Valerie then presses a certain floor as the elevator stops as they walk out from it.

It is the training floor that the Fantastic Four or any other users train themselves.

So for them to test out these we shooters to see if they are not fake they decided to do it in this room.

"Time to test out these web-shooters." The web-shooters on both Franklin wrists then made a been as the sound of L sounded from them.

"Recognised user. Franklin Richard. Does the user want to custom web shooter colour?" Franklin almost want to rip out the web-shooters when they made a sound but refrain from doing so.

"Cool. The web-shooters have an AI installed in them. D you have a name?" Valerie asks L which is copies of L that has their sentient.

"You may call me with any name you want Valerie." The AI said as the girl's eyes brighten hearing that.

"Then I will call you V," Valerie said to her AI.

"Very well then from now on, I am V," V said to her new user.

"Oh, man. Should I call you F? Nope I am going to call you 7," Franklin said.

"Very well then Franklin." His AI replied as both kids accidentally pressed the trigger with a line of web shot through the roof.

"Time to take a swing." Franklin and Valerie then do what they say as they all laugh after swinging around like Spiderman.

While they are happy the heroes in the Avengers are not especially Mr Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

"Where are them?!" The movement their flying vehicle arrives Sue is the first to rush out of it and ask Jean who waited for their arrival.

"Follow me." She replied to the blond woman.

Reed meanwhile collapsed behind them.

"Are they alive? Please tell me, Jean." Susan asks the red-haired woman.

"Luckily both of them only suffered heavy beating from Zero. Johnny has his nose broken with both of his eyes are swollen badly. His jaw broke too." They arrived a the med bay where Susan quickly look at her younger brother who is now unconscious with his face is being wrapped by bandages.

"Johnny. It is not life-threatening right?" She asks Jean.

"No. He will heal after several days." Jean replied making Susan sigh in relief.

After all, heroes that cross paths with Zero suffer a lethal injury that rendered them to walk or ingest their food properly though can be healed but that will take a very long time to treat those injuries.

"Wait a minute? Where is Ben? How is he?" Reed ask about his best friend. He never sees the big and rock figure.

"Now that is another matter that shocks you both." Instead of Jean replying to his question, the Beast replied to it.

"What do you mean?" Reed ask as his worry and fear increased hearing his reply.

The same goes for Susan.

"I think you should go see for yourself." Beast then move them to follow him to another medical room as they enter it to see something they never expected.

Ben Grimm in his human form with his face is being handled the same as Johnny with his right arm.

"He reverts to his human form. That is not surprising." Richard said to the blue fur mutant as he know his fried can change back once a month.

"No. What will shock you is this? Look at his DNA." Beast then hand Richard a tablet as the leader of Fantastic Four take a look as he then gasp and his eyes widen seeing the change in his friend DNA.

"His DNA is now completely normal human," Richard exclaim in surprise as Susan feel shocked hearing that.

As for our Peter Parker, he is now on a call with Mike.

"Okay. Fine. I will give them some of my inventions to shut them up. Yeah. Good to chat with you too Mike." Peter end the call as he sighs.

"L. Please be a dear and send the Secret Service the arm Motorcycle, combat drones, force field helmet and the cloaking device that is far superior to they currently had." He commands his AI as this is the price to publicly transform into an alien while doing his job.

"Fuck it. It is not like I care. I mean now pretty much everyone has seen the video of me transforming and finding out my identity. Which made me feel elastic. All my enemies will be after my head and I can just kill them. They think I will be afraid. Afraid my ass. They are the ones who will knock on the door of their Grim Reaper. Especially you Goblin." His eyes glint as he really cannot wait to meet the guy who caused Gwen's death.

And Octavius. Oh, that Octopus he will kill him and hang his corpse on the Statue of Liberty.

Their death will be remembered for centuries.

"Sir. We have found Iron Fist Location." L told Peter as he smiles.

"Oh, you fool. You think you alone can defeat me." He said as he tap his watch as his Zero suit formed as the Ultimatrix glowed green eerily.

"Let's see if your resident Kung Fu boy can long last before I break him completely."
