12 Chapter XII: A Decade Since Then

Agamotto and I were doing our daily spar that we've been doing for the last 10 years. That's right, 10 years.

It's been 10 years since I've reincarnated, 10 years since Agamotto and I have started our friendship.

And it's been ten years I've had any information about Cthon and Mephisto. The last thing I know is that they found Gaea and attacked her, but couldn't kill her. She was warned in advance by Oshtur, so she managed to escape,

But her whereabouts are unknown to me, once again.

Besides all of those negatives, here are some positives.

Agamotto not too long ago, was summoned by the Grand Councils of Mages, to advance from Mage magic, to Sorcery Magic, and he finally became the Sorcerer Supreme.

I gained more and better powers, weapons, tools, armor and such for Blaze, Bashenga, and I.

*SHING*

I bent backwards Matrix style to dodge a sword made from magic that was aimed straight for my head.

"You know, you shouldn't get distracted when fighting the Sorcerer Supreme." Agamotto commented with a smirk.

Although I was proud of him becoming the first Sorcerer Supreme, I had to humble him every now and then because I didn't want the title to get to his head.

Considering he was still weaker than MCU Doctor Strange.

"You know, you talk to much." I said, copying him by adapting a smirk on my face as well.

I charged him while creating a solid construct of a sword made from hellfire, and a shield constructed of anti-magic.

He created another Mystic Sword as we clashed in the middle of this empty field.

"Are you prepared to lose old man?" Agamotto said with utmost confidence, even though he's never won a spar before.

"Just because you're the Sorcerer Supreme does not mean I can't kick your ass kid!"

He jumped back and manifested a bow and endless arrows out of magic and shot at me from the air.

I held up my shield to defend myself from the arrows.

*Bing! Bing! Bing!*

Three arrows hit the shield and stuck there for a few seconds before disappearing instantly.

I rushed forward and threw the shield at him before he could land.

Since the shield was made of anti-magic, he couldn't block it with magic. He grabbed it and sent it back towards me with equal force.

Before it could reach me, it disappeared in mid air and I charged him again before he fully landed.

We got into a combat battle, both of us having the same ferocity and determination to win this spar.

I weaved under a punch he threw at my face and countered with a punch to his gut. A yellow energy and glow enveloped my fist as it flew towards his stomach. He responded with a knee to my face to stop me from injuring him to badly.

I jumped back before I could hit him, so I didn't get hit myself. He opened a portal behind me as I jumped back, making me fall from the air from another portal he set above him.

As I was falling down, he prepared a sword and got ready to strike again, knowing that I always had something prepared.

As soon as I was going to have my stomach pierced by his sword, I slowed down time and grabbed his sword with my bare glowing hand and crushed it with my increased physical strength. Then I spun backwards and kicked him in the face with the same yellow energy that was on my fist earlier, sending him flying while I landed on the ground safely.

He skid across the grass and was going to get up, before I appeared behind him with a spear to his neck.

"You lose, again." I reminded him.

"That's not fair and you know it dad- I mean, Billy. You said you wouldn't use your speed in our spars anymore." He stuttered over his words and complained about me "cheating".

He's been slipping up a lot recently and can't help himself from calling me dad. I didn't have any children in my last life, so it feels a bit weird to hear myself get called dad, but I don't really mind it.

"Well, I told you that every time you said something snarky or if you were to cocky and arrogant during our spars, I would kick your ass and win." I said to the little brat.

"Yeah whatever, I have to meet with the Council and talk to them about recruiting other people from across the Universe to become sorcerers, I'll talk to you later old man." He waved before he opened a portal behind him and walking through it.

I shook my head with a smile, "Disrespectful ass kid."

Being the Iron Fist truly gave me more powers then I could've imagined, which made me confused about why it was only 500 ISP, it could be nerfed but I'm not sure.

I could use chi, hop dimensions, and I had a lot of experience from finishing the book. The yellow energy that I used in my spar with Agamotto was all Chi.

I also fixed a few things I thought looked wrong in my status page with the customization feature I don't use. I changed things like the fact that all of the powers I've obtained from my forms were mixed with the ones I've earned without forms, so I separated them.

Except for my Star Brand powers, they felt natural so I kept them as my own powers category. I also added a category for my suits, and let me tell you, the Iron Man Model 37 suit was so damn expensive.

I had 75,000 ISP and I was saving it for something important that I might get like the Heart of The Universe, but when I saw the potential of that suit, I had to buy the 50,000 ISP suit.

The suit was made of nano machines that was installed inside of my body. I can manifest the suit onto my body with a single thought and it can look however I want it to, it can also manifest into clothes, which lets me save ISP on the clothes section of the system. It also can turn into other armors or beings in general which might come in handy in the future.

The armor almost feels like another layer of skin when it's activated, making movability super easy and simple. Luckily, I didn't have to get an arc reactor to use the suit, since everything that needs to get powered, is powered by the system, and the energy I unnaturally release from my body because of how powerful I've gotten.

Although my energy leaks, it's not hard at all to mask it. The result is only that I have a lot of built up energy and I can release it into one large explosion, or I could just absorb it back into my body and get a small power boost, depending on the amount of energy it is.

To be honest, I only bought the Goblin Glider because it looked cool, there was not other reason.

I still had 25,000 ISP left, so I looked in my favorite feature, the Miscellaneous part of The Item Shop.

'Oh you got to be kidding me. I just bought that Iron Man suit yesterday, and now it wants to give me the Heart of The Universe? I could've went out and hunted for the rest of the ISP required, but it's whatever. And this is also the first time I've been recommended an infinity stone, let alone all of them.'

Now I had a choice to make, I either buy the Infinity Gems and the Cosmic Cocoon to increase my physiology. Or, I get the Infinity Gems and the Ultimate Nullifier.

'Buy the Infinity Gems, Quantum Bands, and the Cosmic Cocoon.'

I did this because getting the Cosmic Cocoon would better me now and in the long run, instead of just in the long run like the Ultimate Nullifier.

The Cosmic Cocoon is how Adam Warlock was born and what gave him his powers.

The Ultimate Nullifier is capable of creating and destroying realities. When am I going to need to create or destroy realities?

I also bought the Quantum Bands so I could alter matter.

I ran back to the cave and checked on Blaze and Bashenga. I was so fast at this point that it seemed like I practically teleported from place to place.

I looked at the large bone bed and the smaller one beside it. Blaze and Bashenga were sleeping peacefully after a long day of training.

I ran out to the middle of the ocean to absorb the Infinity Stones, because I think the power of these stones could easily destroy that entire Island without any effort, so I needed to be safe.

When I was far enough to point I could barely see Genosha, I stopped and took them out of my inventory.

Before I could admire the beauty of the gems, the power of the stones and the hunger of my own power reacted to each other and the stones flew out of my hand and started flying around me in a circle.

I started levitating from the sheer power of the energy circle being formed around me. A swirl of purple, green, red, yellow, blue, and orange energy formed around me and was being sucked into my body. A vortex of color began to surface the water as I felt the new insane energy enter me and advance me in a way I've never felt before.

After 10 minutes of this vortex increasing, it quickly dissipated, leaving me floating above the water while glowing a multitude of different colors that represent the Infinity Stones.

Blue lightning also crackled and surfaced around my body as I floated above the ocean, at least, from the outside that was what's being seen.

I was seeing something completely different.

I was floating in a black never ending space, as if I was being reincarnated again. It was different this time.

There was a fireball bouncing around the space. I could feel the heat of it from where I was, it was very hot.

A white orb bounced like a ball around the empty space along with the red fireball.

Suddenly, a blue lightning bolt also started bouncing around with the fireball and white orb. It looked exactly like my lightning trail, but brighter, and much faster. It also had green flickers of lightning coming off of it too.

I still felt all of the Infinity Stone's power being absorbed in my body. I had a feeling these were weaker than the real ones, considering these were only 12,000 ISP. The power rush was still incredible despite the apparent nerf.

Once the power died down, my vision suddenly returned back to normal and I was back on the ocean, still floating.

'If I felt that much power from these Infinity Stones, what would I feel from the Cosmic Cocoon?' The prices between the two were pretty close from one another.

I decided that I would use the Cocoon tomorrow, seeing as I was high off of the current energy in my body.

I could tell all the stones improved the powers I already had, my mentality, and my physicality.

I ran back to the cave and got on top of Blaze's head, settling for a nap from exhaustion because of my newfound powers.

'My speed tripled, I'm a demigod, and I have a lightning divinity. I'm going to deal with all of this shit tomorrow, I'm too exhausted.'

I quickly slipped into a deep sleep, too exhausted to notice Agamotto appearing through a portal, and laying on top of Blaze's head as well with the same exhaustion that I had.

"When are we going to get my revenge?!" Mephisto yelled in anger at Cthon.

"Soon Mephisto, be patient." Cthon said calmly, unbothered by the angry demon in front of him.

"You said that over a decade ago! If you won't help me, then I'll do it by myself!" Mephisto was walking away from Cthon when he suddenly couldn't move anymore. "You? Leave? No, that won't do, I need you to help me find the rest of my sisters, but if you won't help me, what's the point of keeping you alive?"

Cthon started draining Mephisto of all of his power, while the demon begged for his life, slowly descending from a demon into nothing but bones.

"I'll kill my sisters, and in spite of Oshtur not joining me, I'm going to kill her son, her own creation, right in front of her." Cthon harnessed a menacing grin and planned a way to accomplish his evil deeds.
